If I could give zero stars I would. This place is the worst. Prescription was called in and nearly 1.5 hours later the pharmacist doesn’t know anything. The line was terribly long and the staff was rude. DONOTUSETHISPLACE!!!

Slow, slow, slow. Long lines. Expensive stuff. Stuff is hard to find. Braindead cashiers. I think people always go to Walgreens because they are trying to avoid the«annoyingness» of Walmart, but sadly, I think it’s worse. I’m not saying this based on a one-time thing; it’s a 25,000-time thing. Ghastly place.

I fail to understand all the negative comments about this store. I get all my prescriptions filled there without any problems. Love the drive threw. The staff has always been very helpful and I can’t think of a time I have been in there shopping and someone has not stopped me and ask if they could help me find anything. While sometimes I think Walgreens prices are a little on the high side, they often have some really good bargains if you look for them. I like their buy one get one free on their vitamins and supplements.

We used this pharmacy years ago when we lived close. We have since moved and switched to a pharmacy closer to our house but I had my son’s doctor call in a prescription there for a very painful rash he had because it was close to our doctor’s office and my son was in a lot of pain. When we got there they only had one other customer in front of us, but I was told it would be an hour wait because of the call-in orders ahead of us. The people weren’t even there! I explained that my son was only 5 and in a lot of pain but was told(very rudely) that they had to follow the rules and that we would have to wait. Of course this was after 5:00 on a Friday so I couldn’t call the doctor to have the prescription called in somewhere else. I wish I had just taken my screaming/crying son in there and made them listen to him for the entire hour. From now on we will stick with local pharmacies that actually care about people.

Maybe giving Walgreens a 1-star review is a little harsh considering how busy they get but they infuriated me today. I left work early today because of a sinus infection and I needed to go pick up my antibiotic from Walgreens. I called them to ask how long it would be for my prescription and they told me 30 minutes. I waited 30 minutes before leaving work and then waited in their drive-thru for 30 minutes only to be told that it would be another 30 minutes before my prescription would be ready. The woman working the drive-thru lanes was RUDE. Not only was she rude, I see how their drive-thru system works and she started helping another lady before me that obviously did not follow her cue I had been watching for ½ an hour. I think she could see the look I was giving her so she asked the other lady to hold on and asked me what I needed. These people lack basic communication skills and they NEVER have my prescriptions ready when they say they will so today I took my business to Homeland pharmacy where they were able to get my prescription ready in 15 minutes and were very nice. Plus there was NO wait in their drive-thru. I will never, EVER go back to Walgreens on 50th and May ever again. EVERRRRRR.

I went here to get Blue Bell Ice Cream because I’d heard so much about how good it is from different friends. When I finally tasted the ice cream it was freezer burnt and I was totally out done! I called the manager who was on duty and he wanted me to drive all the way back over there with the container, but I had already flushed the contents away i the toilet. After going back and fourth with him, he told me to just bring my receipt back for a refund. I was sadden that I wasn’t able to have my Blue Bell Ice Cream experience.
