Solid BBQ. Ribs and beans are really good. Not bad for small town.

Saw a story on this place on Discover Oklahoma. Good news– chopped brisket smoky but a bit dry. Ribs not as smoky but the sauces both mild and hot were excellent. Fries very good and corn nuggets which are my favorite from another BBQ place were just as good as I remembered – sweet, salty and crisp.

Very good shredded beef and pork and chopped beef and peach cobbler. Little on the dry of chopped beef. Maybe a little more fat would do the trick but this is all just my opinion.

Beans tasted like canned beans unseasoned. Brisket was dry with no smoked flavor. Ribs were boiled before grilled. Not the worse bbq I’ve had but far from the best. Corn was fried in breaded balls. Who does this? Cannot recommend to anybody.

I don’t know if I’ve ever had better BBQ. As my friend said, «There are BBQ places, then there are places that are passionate about their BBQ». Massey’s is definitely the latter. I can’t wait to go back!

My family grew up on their hotlinks! My father(Rev. C.R. Jackson) was friends with Rev. Lyons Manuel, and we’d visit for church events and take hotlinks home. You need three napkins: one for your mouth, one for your forehead, and one for your nose! Set ya on fire! Good Stuff! I need to have some shipped to me here in Phoenix!

Got the ribs, very good fall off the bone and tender with a great smoky flavor. Sauce is tangy and sweet and perfectly thick.

I just discovered this place a few weeks ago, but since I only go through Okmulgee twice a week for work it took a while to find. It’s a little over an hours drive from where I live, but the journey would be worth it for a weekend getaway. The great thing is they give you enough to feed an army on your plate! Now I’ve made it a tradition to make my Friday stop by Massey’s for lunch and have the leftovers for dinner. I’m actually thinking of reasons to go to Okmulgee some weekend right now, it’s really that good! And the baked beans are the best I’ve had since my mother’s so many years ago.

Best BBQ I have had in a very long time. Good portions fair prices, nice service. Wish we had a place like this in California. I only wish they had places like this near my home in California. This is good, good stuff. I will be back for sure when in the area next time.

Def some of the best BBQ mug town has to offer! I live in NY but whenever I’m in town to visit my family I stop into this littl spot for lunch! Best baked beans in the south for sure!

What a nice surprise in a small town. The restaurant is pretty small and very busy but for good reason. The ribs fall off the bone, the baked beans were the best I have had, the corn nuggets were unique and tasty. Lastly the blackberry cobler with ice cream was off the charts! Worth a stop if you find yourself in the area.

Massey’s has decent BBQ and it is easily accessible from the highway, but not great parking(I prefer to use the drive through). The building is large enough to seat groups and regular diners, the service is fair, but the prices are a little high.

Massey’s is a good BBQ place. I ordered the dinner platter with chicken and pulled pork. The pulled pork was good, but the chicken wasn’t my favorite. Sides were potato salad and baked beans. I liked the baked beans, the potato salad was average. The price was a bit high though, 11 dollars for one person including tax. If you like BBQ, you will probably like this place though.

First, I am a delivery driver, so I get to try food not in Tulsa. And if you ever want to try anything worth the gas, its this. Massey’s is located in Okmulgee on hwy 75. The cool thing about it is that is started as a «roach coach» and just exploded from there in popularity. It now has its own building right off the road. The only downside is that parking is a little short during peak hours. They generally open up at 11 and from there is packed. The food is ridiculous. So much so that whenever we have a driver go to Okmulgee, he takes order from everyone. I’m a big fan of the chopped brisket and spicy sauce. Okmulgee is know for its bbq and I think this place is Okmulgee.
