I placed my order through the Pei Wei app after 9pm it was really easy to use. My order was to be ready at 9:50, I got there at 9:40 and it was ready. The young man/host was really nice and took care of my needs with a smile. My food was hot and delicious. Mongolian steak with fried rice. The manager, Shannon greeted me as well with a smile and thank you too. So often when you enter a business so close to closing you feel like you are bothering them, not the case last night.

Pei Wei is a quick and easy option for lunch. We get there right before the lunch rush starts, so we never have to wait very long. The entrees are good. I order one of their chicken dishes and pair it with brown rice and an extra egg roll. The last time I got an egg roll it was dripping in grease/oil which was disappointing. The servers clean up after you quickly. The only disconcerting thing is the straws that they keep by the soda machines. It’s a big container of unwrapped straws. I’ve never seen straws not in their paper or plastic wrapper or at least in a straw dispenser. The germaphobe in me just keeps imagining every person, every kid grabbing a straw from the container while touching every single straw in there. Anyway, we’ll probably keep coming back because the food comes out quickly and is within our lunch price range.

I’ve tried their Dan Dan noodles, Mongolian chicken, Kung pao, pei Wei spicy, lettuce wraps, pad Thai, sushi, and so on. They were all good but nothing extordinary. When I go there now I just order pad Thai bc it’s what I like the most. It consist of tofu, egg, green onions, peanuts, and choice of meat. The sauce is just right along with extra citrus for a kick. I’d save the sushi for another place though. The rice is dry and hard. Not much flavor and you don’t taste the mango in the mango Cali which I was disappointed in since I expected mango flavored something. Overall it’s a nice place for a quick bite.

Never reviewed Pei Wei and I am not sure why. I have never left here anything but completely satisfied and ready to return. Honey Glazed Chicken and Garlic Broccoli Steal were both excellent. Crab wontons were as well. The service is fast and friendly. There is no reason not to go.

I could eat here 7 days a week! Sooooo good! I try something different each time and have never been disappointed. Also a huge fan of the hot and sour soup. It’s not watered down like most places. I saw many posts of how dirty this location is and I don’t agree with that at all. It’s always been very clean when I’ve been there(lunches). Some people have spoke about slow service is and no napkins at the tables… You order and take a number. You get your napkins and silverware next to the soda machine. I almost wonder if they are reviewing the wrong store? I also always received my food within 5 minutes. 100% would recommend!

Always good food. Service was a little slow at the point of sale. There were only three total people in line. Hostess was busy with takeout customers and had trouble getting to us. But typical great taste and speed on delivery.

I love Pei Wei and am happy to eat here weather it is the one near home or far flung corners of the US. I met some friends here and they commented on how great their meals came out. I would review what they ate but I was to wrapped up in my appetizer of Spicy Sushi and the great old standard Kung Pow Chicken with Fried Rice. The wait was very long, however I am not removing a star for that as I think it was due to a rush of customers in the door. There was plenty of staff and all of them were working hard while I was there.

Normally pretty dependable, albiet SALTY, food here for a vegan, HOWEVER, on my most recent visit, I was served a red pepper with the label still on it. Makes me wonder how well, or unwell, the vegetables are washed prior to cooking…

I read the other reviews and decided to throw caution to the wind and eat dinner here. I’ve never eaten at another Pei Wei before so I didn’t have much to compare to but here is why my experience wasn’t top-notch. 1. Dirty. The front windows, the floor, the booths. It was just dead the day I went in… Cleanliness is so important to me. 2. Food was«okay»… Nothing spectacular. However, just watching a lady take a tube of sushi out of the fridge and cut it with a knife made the«idea» of sushi much less appealing. Especially for the price. 3. Nothing was easily accessed and the staff was oblivious. No napkins anywhere. I just was not impressed. I doubt I’ll eat at another Pei Wei ever again due to this experience.

I LOVE Pei Wei. We have never had a bad experience there. The staff has always been friendly. Our food has always been wonderful. Getting my daughter to eat chinese isn’t always easy, but they have a dish she does love. When I order my daughter’s entrée, I have several requests that I need to make to personalize it for her. They have never had a problem with my special order. I really like the atmosphere as well. I’m not a huge fan of red, but I really like it here. When I call in a carry out order, they know what I’ve ordered in the past and ask if I would like to order any of those. We visit Pei Wei often and I’ve gotten several friends who enjoy going there also.

really as everyone said it is not good as others Pei Wei store. I used to choose Peiwei at Phoenix and that store was wonderful. This one is very small rice ofcourse I ordered the small one but too small comparing with other Pei Wei .Also too salty, we ordered four dishes, all too many salt, you have to drink more.

I usually don’t put people on blast. I understand that restaurant staff and management can have bad days. Everyone does. But I don’t like when people are not held accountable to their lack of good service. Two of my coworkers dined in, while myself and another coworker ordered carry out for them to pick up for us. My cup of wonton soup had 2 very long strands of black hair in it. I’m going to upload a picture. Talk about an instant loss of appetite. Instead of comping my meal and/or giving me a coupon to come back, like smart management would, the manager told me he took the soup off my bill. $ 1.99. Wow. Hope your choice to be stingy was worth losing an office full of people that dined at Pei Wei. DineD… past tense. Done.

II’ve started eating gluten free and sometimes it’s just easier to go to a chain. I was aware that Pei Wei had a GF menu(though I could not locate it online) so I headed over for a quick lunch. There are not very many menu items on the Olathe location’s GF menu(I think each restaurant maintains their own GF men), but I was able to find an appetizer and main course. We started with the Vietnamese chicken salad rolls. These were comprised of chicken, butter lettuce, cabbage, mint, carrots, scallions, peanuts, rice noodles, chile sauce, lime vinaigrette, wrapped in rice paper and served with sweet chile sauce. I really liked these, my husband was not a huge fan. He found them to be just«edible» but not more than that. Perhaps this is because they aren’t fried(a la crab rangoon). For lunch I had GF sweet and sour chicken with brown rice. The chicken was not breaded, but it was moist and juicy. It was covered in Pei Wei’s globby sweet and sour sauce — traditional Americanized Chinese food. II know what I’m getting at Pei Wei. This isn’t a restaurant I go to because I think the food is amazing, it’s a place to grab a quick lunch that happens to have a specific GF menu. Overall the restaurant is clean. The staff is quick getting the food to your table. Will I go back? Sure. Not too often, but PW is great for a quick, GF lunch.

I would go once a week about a year ago because I loved it so much. I talked it up to a friend that was with me and she was game to try it. The floors were filthy with vegetables. The place was not crowded at all so there was no reason anyone should not have gotten a broom and swept this up. Ordered my favorite: pad Thai w chicken. The noodles were gummy and the chicken tasted like it had been boiled then sitting in water until it was thrown in my dish. It was awful. Tables were dirty and greasy. There were no napkins; I had to take napkins from another table. I couldn’t tell you if anyone was in charge because a manager wasn’t visible. Update: so I broke down after 1) someone associated with Pei Wei wrote me after reading my review and hoped that I would come back and try again and 2) Friday rush hour traffic made it virtually impossible to go anywhere on the highway. Here I sit waiting for my food, which I hope will be delicious. The service was quick and attentive and the facilities are clean. So far so good! Order was ready and food was nice and hot. Server asked if I wanted utensils, extras like soy sauce and fortune cookies. Personally, I liked that she asked since I feel bad throwing away items I won’t eat or use. Took my shrimp pad thai home and enjoyed it very much though it was missing my slice of lime that I actually do use. Oh well.

Nothing special. Fast food feel– doesn’t sit well with me. For some reason, I expect more from Pan-Asian places. That style of food seems hard to get right and this place misses the mark.

Great Mandarin Orange Tea! Even though I’ve had better food when it is made well Pei Wei is hard to beat. The challenge is that it is not always done well.

I lived in this area years back when this location opened and boy did we love going there. It has been a long time since I had been back but we were passing through to attend a wedding. My husband loves Asian food, as do I, so we stopped in. I had the Dan Dan Noodles(this is what I almost always used to order) while my husband had the Thai Coconut Curry dish. They always give you plenty of food. My dish was yummy, just the right amount of heat and lots of variety in the dish(ingredients wise). My husband thoroughly enjoyed his dish as well. My only complaint has ever been that the floor always seems dirty. This will continue to be a fast option for us when in town.

Pei Wei is a quicker and less costly version of an Asian restaurant. When you walk in you will wait and order cafeteria style. Silverware and other table condiments are located by the wall and then you go and find your seat. The food has some decent options… pad thai, fried rice, chicken, steak, egg rolls, crab wonton and more. It’s solid food for what you pay. I especially liked the pork egg roll and the mustard sauce. The service was slow. It took me almost 40 minutes to get my plate. The pad thai was good, but not good enough to warrant that long of a wait.

I do like Pei Wei and I was in Olathe on business, saw them while driving by and went in. The service was very good, very attentive. I had the Pad Thai and although it was good, it was quite a bit spicier than I’m used to and couldn’t really finish it. I’ve never gotten Pad Thai at Pei Wei but I do get it quite a bit at Thai restaurants and this was pretty damn spicy. To be fair, the menu had a spicy icon next to the meal, so it’s my fault.

I kinda like this place and actually prefer it to most little Chinese restaurants in Olathe. I’d give it another star if the dishes were more authentic. It’s owned by the PF Chang people so if you’re crazing those lettuce wrap w/o a drive to the Plaza then this is the place. It’s not just Chinese, they have some Thai, Korean, and Vietnamese dishes too. Plus you choose your protein of chicken, beef, shrimp or tofu. You can do white or brown rice or noodles with any dish. It’s clean, made to order, has fresh ingredients and pretty good for the price. I’ve never had a bad experience yet. Plus if you’re trying to eat healthy, ask for velveted(boiled) chicken instead of flash fried. It’s incredibly moist and flavorful and the brown rice is yummy too.
