BIG — that’s what this place is. They really put a lot of money I to this place making it look really upscale. As you enter the through the foyer you’re greeted with a friendly hostess on your right with a full pizzeria stocked with a counter full of freshly made pizza and the like. I noticed the small area near the counter looked like a small pizza shop, but once you get seated for dinner that’s when this place really opens up. Wood furnished booths, gigantic paintings not to mention the 1⁄10 scale boat in the middle of the room. Needless to say this place looks awesome. I took my mom, dad, and girlfriend in for a bunch of things to celebrate(early mother’s day thing, nurse appreciation, teacher appreciation, best parents appreciation, etc etc.) And we were met with some very polite service. The waitresses are mostly teenagers but management has them all working as a cohesive team and they’ve been trained well. When a server says, «pardon my reach.» Either they grew up with the politest family ever or its management. Service was quick, friendly, and timely. Thumbs up The food tho. Pretty good. We ordered fried ravioli as an appetizer — delicious. Just watch out cutting them they exploded all over my gf’s shirt. We split three entrée’s: Shrimp and Manila Clam pasta, Chicken Cacciatore over Linguini, and the Eggplant rollitini served with a side of Penñe Vodka. We loved the starters(fresh bread with butter, salad with balsamic) and we really enjoyed the Shrimp and Manila pasta and the penne Vodka. Sad to say but we felt the chicken dish and eggplant was a bit bland and underwhelming. It tasted fresh but that umami or say Magic just wasn’t there. Maybe next time we will try some of the other dishes. No dessert this time around but next time. All in all we enjoyed this place. Couldn’t give it 5 stars because of those two dishes but all else was great.

I’ve been to this restaurant quite a few times… never have I ever been disappointed! The food is delicious! The atmosphere and ambience of the restaurant is very modern and comforting. My favorite dish is there Chicken Balsamico… it is a must try if you come here! The portion sizes are Big… so you won’t go home with an empty stomach… there is a very good chance you’ll have some leftovers:). Their wait staff is very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be coming back every few months or so:)

I have been here 3 times and occasions has been great. I forgot the name of the grilled chicken sandwich but very good. We ordered a pizza with sausage pie and was flavorful. I would most definitely suggest this place to eat. I live 8 miles away and there are a number of pizza places by me. I would rather drive up here to order pizza.

Its a perfect laid back family Italian restaurant/pizzeria. There is absolutely no way the food could have been any better. Great service and great ambiance. The calamari was perfect and theres really nothing more to say about it! I had the chicken balsamico(amazing btw) and my girlfriend have the eggplant rollatini which was also very good… we now have lunch for the next two days! I cant wait to try their pizza. We’ll definitely be back.

We’ve been eating in the original Ravello in Englishtown since it opened and love the place. So we decided to give their new location a try. The ambiance and food is similar to the original location. So we enjoyed our meal. But I had severe stomach problems later that night. I won’t go back.

Have been to Trattoria Ravello of Old Bridge 3 times since it opened and have not been disappointed! Everything from appetizers, salads and entrees have been well prepared and delicious. This is BYOB, which we prefer. Prices are right($$). We have also enjoyed the take-out pizza and sandwiches a number of times(cold subs-very good with nice soft bread). The atmosphere is spacious with booths and tables(we like the booth) and the service has been pleasant and professional.(Giada has been our server twice) This is now our go-to Italian restaurant in the area.

Husband and I moved from the city to NJ so we were extremely disappointed in the restaurants on rt 9. This place opened up right outside of our development and we didn’t have high hopes. With that being said, we decided to give it a try since we can walk to it so we placed an order for pick up. Firstly, the staff is very friendly. Secondly and most importantly, the food is great. We have ordered for pick up four times in the past 7 days. We wanted to try a variety before we made up our minds. Every time, they did not disappoint. The organic salmon is my favorite so far. I expected them to make it chewy and dry but I’ve had it twice now and it has been cooked just perfectly. My husband had the chicken and veal and he said they were both great as well. We are so excited this place is good, we will be telling our neighbors to go and we will definitely be back.

Very large servings, my waitress on a sale of 1 – 5 was an 8, the food comes out super fast. Plenty of parking. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is I wan’t crazy about the tomato sauce. It was too sweet for me. Nice and thick, but not done how I like it best. I thought about this as I was driving home. The sauce may be exactly how some people like it, but I’m sure others like me would say they’d prefer different. So! How about offering a choice of sauces. One can be this sweet one. The other can start with this thick base, but add about 1⁄6 of the sugar, first browning lots of garlic in the pot, and pour the oil off. Then in the sauce add oregano, basil, bay leaves, parsley, salt, pepper, and pepperoni. If you want to cook it personally for me, also brown some onions first, and add in capers. THEN! With the nice bread that’s given out, give small samples of the sauce, so the people ordering can pick which one they prefer. Kind of like how you can get plain or veggie tuna, or how there are different hot sauces for Mexican.
