Couture Salon and spa is phenomenal! I’m new to the area and had tried two other salons, only to be disappointed with how my hair turned out. I was traveling 3 hours back to my hometown to get my hair done by my old stylist. Based on reviews, I decided to try Couture. I’m so happy I did! Michelle really listened to my description/​pictures of what I wanted and nailed it the first time. I think it takes a special talent for a stylist to really hear you and implement your wishes. She even took the extra time to teach me how to achieve the look on a daily basis, on my own.
The salon itself is updated and has a very relaxing atmosphere. I’m thrilled to have finally found a fantastic local hairstylist!

I’m new to the area and have been on a quest to find a salon I was happy with. After trying many different places, I finally found the spot for me. April did an excellent job with both my cut and my color. She is the first person who ever got my color right the first time and the haircut was one of the best I’ve ever had. She has wonderful instincts and really knows what she’s doing. Highly recommend!

I was on vacation in South Lyme and wanted to cut my hair short (3″ or so past my shoulders to just below my ears). Since this was a lot of hair to chop, I did some research and saw this salon had gotten some good reviews. I wasn’t let down! The owner, Michele, did the cut and she was FABULOUS! She was extremely knowledgable, listened to what I wanted and gave great advice, and she was fast and precise. This was one of the best experiences, and cuts, I’ve ever had. I definitely recommend Couture and Michele. I’ll be back next summer for another cut!
