It was my first time coming to South Beach Tanning Company. I worked with Angela. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable about tanning, and had me signed up as a first time customer in no time. She explained all tiers of service, and gave me a nice tour of the facilities. She explained the different lotion types, tanning bed types, etc. Couldn’t say the experience could’ve went any better. Give Angela a raise, she’s a pro and represents your company very well. :-)

Girls at the front were so knowledgable and helpful. It was my first time in there so they gave me a full tour and explained everything, took me up front and explained all deals without being pushy. They also recommended a great lotion I love and then took me back and explained how to turn on the bed. Loved it and signed up for unlimited monthly!

Clean friendly service.very. Very… very pricey. I was told explicitly that I needed to give notice mid-month if I was going to cancel my service (for the next month) or change the package. So I don’t see what the deal is there.

BUYERS BEWARE!!!
Had to cancel a tanning subscription after a year of continuous service. They charged me anyways, and then would only offer store credit instead of a refund. When I complained to coporate, I received a rude email in response, basically calling me a liar about cancelling, stating they have a flawless computer system that could never make a mistake. I reported them to the better business bureau, and am in the process of getting my money back that they STOLE, by making a claim with my bank. It makes me sick to my stomach that I gave these thieves my credit card information, so that they can make unauthorized charges to my account. I m just trying to warn people. There are MANY other tanning salons to choose from, and ones that do not require you to give them your credit card number. These people really treated me like #$%$, and I was a good customer to them for a long time.

Called on Saturday to see if appointments are needed for spray tanning and check price since I had not been there before. Drove 20 minutes to find out that the spray tan booth was broken all day. Would of been nice to know that before I drove there. Waste of my time!

Clean, good prices, and friendly staff. SB tanning is a great spot for real or spray tans. They are always running good promos too. Watch Facebook, and every few months a groupon for 3 spray tans for $ 25 comes out. Their veraspa spray tan is great. Instant bronzing plus extra color in a few hours. I suggest not wearing white if you’re going to be sweating though bc it will come off a little bit.

Update: today I received a phone call from Sarah at South Beach Tan. Apparently the owners of the salon saw my review and wanted to connect with me to «make right» my past experience.
Sarah was happy to replace my spray tan experience with sessions in their red light therapy room. I definitely will give it a try and appreciate the owner caring enough to make right the experience I previously had.
