Wonderful place in Olean. The building is fantastic and so well kept. Clean and welcoming. Unique rooms and large bathroom off our room. Breakfast made to order and delicious. They have a AAA rate also. We will be back!

My wife and I rented the entire Inn for the weekend of our wedding(which was at the Old Library next door). Super friendly staff, nice breakfast, and a great experience. Everyone enjoyed their stay(except the one person who complained about not having an attached bath, which was right next door in the hallway). We stayed past checkout and they still made us breakfast after the designated breakfast time. This B&B was everyone’s favorite part of our wedding.

— the best place to stay in Olean! The building is just a very old Library converted into a B&B. The rooms are very clean and neat. Everything worked as it was supposed to. The morning breakfast is fabulous — eggs, breakfast meats, fruit, cereal, breads, pancakes, etc, as you like them. One of our group did get the special — LA toast — I can’t remember the details of the name and description, but it sounded ridiculously caloric. The best thing about the place is the people — everyone is positive, helpful, and a joy to talk to! Stay cool Olean.

wonderful place to stay! we found this hotel accidentially on the way to Niagara. and we love it. Breakfast is so nice. I love LA toast and my sister fell in love with the scrumble egg. nice fruit and coffee. The bed also comfortable and bed sheet is so soft and clean. everything in the room work well. The decoration is so nice with victorian style. great wood and glasses work. i love it !

Such a delight! I climbed to the top floor to a charming room with plump pillows & smooth sheets. Real cotton sheets — the kind my grandmother ironed. I felt pampered & spoiled for 2 days. Wanted to stay for more. Breakfast is made to order & then there may be additional morning treats if the owner gets inspired. How can you say«no» to freshly made raspberry blintzes? Can I get a doggie bag??? The room was comfy for one, maybe a bit small for two, but there are other choices. I liked the quiet of the top floor & those sheets! My only complaint was the lack of a convenient electric outlet but I made due. Oh — the bathroom — huge! If you like classy Victorian houses, this is a wonder to behold. The stain glass windows are gorgeous as is the wood paneling throughout the house.

When visiting our son at St. bonaventure we make this our regular stay over. They always make you feel at home and welcome! The house is great with old feel charm! The only down side would be the walls(as in old construction) are thin so if you are a light sleeper you’ll hear the floor boards creaking as other guests come and go. That’s a stretch for my downside!

When I visit my family in Olean, I’m always going to stay here. It’s the best hotel I’ve stayed in in Olean or Allegany, which isn’t saying much I realize. But seriously, this place is nice enough. The room was on the small side for a bed and breakfast but the price was very reasonable. Everything was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The decorations were nice, standard B&B fare. Breakfast was good. Amazing, when you consider the other food options in Olean, NY.
