I’ve switched pediatric practices for my daughter. While I didn’t mind seeing a different doctor at every visit, the lack of communication between the doctors and nurses at this practice do not put my mind at ease when it comes to their functionality. If you’re going to run your practice with efficiency in mind, make sure you’re all communicating and not giving conflicting information to patients! At her 12 month visit, the doctor told me we did not have to come back until she was 18 months– that she would not need shots again until 18 months. A bit past 15 months, I got an email stating that we were past due for a visit. I called and told the nurse what the doctor said, she politely told me that was incorrect info. So we went in for the 15 month visit, saw a different doc, got shots. This doc told me to schedule her next appointment as close to 18 months as possible, for shots. She stated that her delayed 15 month appointment was not a factor and that she should still get the shots as close to 18 months as possible. I called to schedule her 18 month appointment, and the nurse stated that we had to delay the appointment and shots because of the delayed 15 month appointment. Argh! It’s not rocket science. If you can’t all agree on something as simple as scheduling vaccines, then that doesn’t leave me feeling confident in the ability of the practice to keep up with everything. Doctorly advice being different, I get, because a lot of it are matters of opinion(bed sharing, eating solids, etc.), but I don’t like the conflicts concerning scheduling and vaccines. While I love some of the doctors and the nurses are pleasant, I could not keep attending there. The first time, I left to minor miscommunication, the 2nd time confirmed my suspicions. There will not be a third time.

Not impressed! Too many doctors, first 4 wellness visits we saw 4 different physicians. Our child had some medical concerns and we had several questions that visit after visit went unanswered because each time we saw a new doctor. We finally asked to be referred to a doctor with more specialized expertise but were directed to the wrong specialist! At one visit I was told my child weighed 23lbs when he was only 13lbs which is a significant difference when dosing medicine. One perk that attracted us to this practice was the ability to walk in any weekday morning at 8:15 for a sick visit. However, it was always the same awful, unknowledgeable doctor who gave incorrect diagnoses and I would rather wait for an appointment or visit an urgent care than see her. Our wellness visits are covered by our insurance but now they throw in a «developmental screening» and it is not covered by insurance. Quite a joke since the questions asked are the same asked by my other child’s pediatrician but we are not charged extra for this screening.
