I really liked this place! Super friendly staff. The menu is very impressive, they’ve got everything you can imagine, even Green River! I got the beef, dipped with giardiniera and mozzarella. It was great! Packed with delicious beef and melted mozzarella and dripping wet! Perfection. Can’t wait to go back and try the gyro!

Man, I stopped in here over the Christmas holiday and bought yet another Chicken Gyros. Wow! This sandwich is soooo delicious. I love them. I used to get the original gyros, but something made me try the chicken and it’s off the chain. I’ve been coming to Perros for years. One order of fries is enough for 2 people. The service is great and the food is good. You can eat in or grab it to go. Keep up the great work Perros Brothers.

Love love love this place. I grew up in Chicago heights but have been living out of state for some years. Whenever I come for a visit, this place is a must have. There is nothing like the flavor of their Gyro meat, pita bread and white onions.

Gyro was average. Fried a little hard for my taste. I like my gyros tender. I had the Super Gyro, big enough for two. Service was a bit rough, but made up for in speed of service.

I’ve been eating here for years, but I never tried the gyros. I read some of the other reviews and everybody raved about how good it was. So I thought I’d give it a try today (6÷17÷15) and I was not disappointed! They make an excellent gyro plate! I always thought Andy’s had the best gyro plate previously, but I might have to bump them to #2 after today. Perros Bros. is still very similar to Andy’s (feel free to read my review of them) in the sense that they have a huge selection of food for a reasonable price. They have everything from dogs, burgers, gyros, shrimp baskets, philly steaks, corned beef, and so on. Even though I enjoyed the gyro plate, it was quite a bit pricier than Andy’s. Everything I’ve ever eaten here has been good; the burgers, the grilled chicken on pita and now the gyro. I know they were featured on Chicago’s Best and I usually trust their reviews.

Beef Fri and a coke… $ 9.20? Good sandwich and fries. But not for $ 9.20. Ouch! No complaints otherwise. Just feel that this is basically saying $ 50 for the working person week for lunch. That’s a lot to ask. I would think twice about returning!

I don’t often venture out to Richton Park so I’m not very familiar with the local businesses in the area. I looked up what’s good on Unilocal and saw the high reviews of Perros brothers. We figured we give it a try. I was quite excited when I realize they had chicken gyros. The price was a little higher than I’m used to paying for a plate at $ 13 out the door but you do get 1 pound of meat and two pitas. It was absolutely delicious. My Philly cheesesteak expert friend kept making sounds of «mmmm!» The entire time he was consuming is Philly cheesesteak saying it was one of the best that he ever had. That’s quite the compliment as he’s not easy to please. Next time I’m in Richton Park I’ll for sure be returning to try the rest of their menu. Clean place, friendly staff!

I’ve been eating here for more than a decade, back when I ate meat. Now i go for the grilled cheese, fried veggies and fries. Great staff! The main Perros brother never writes your order and he hasn’t gotten my order wrong ever. He smiles and laughs, calls out your order to the waiting Perros brother cooks and like busy working yummy food elves they put together your belly filling yumminess… I didn’t know how else to get your mind around the vision of watching them cook one of the best quick meals you’ll have (a little exaggetation, but definitely better than most quick eats). The décor is typical of a gyti, burger fast fish sandwich place but they do ad holiday window art and hanging garland. They also have a tv constantly showing some sport something, great for those who want to eat there and can’t wait to get home and chow down. They have several specials that are easy on the budget. Too hungry to keep writing… yum

By far one of the fastest restaurants I’ve ever been to. Was able to get my order and out in probably less than five minutes. Will definitely come back here.
Price was good as well paid less than eight dollars for fries, gyro and a drink.

I tried out Perros for the first time and ordered two hotdogs and fries, which was a meal deal listed on one of the signs in the window (I like to keep things simple on a first visit). The price was right; even with a large drink it was five dollars and some change. That would be about $ 9.50 at Portillo’s! The hotdogs were delicious and the fries were abundant but just average in flavor, like they needed salt or something. Seriously, though, the bag of fries was enormous! I could not finish the fries and I probably would have preferred better tasting fries in lesser quantity. More is not always better.
Loved the décor and ambiance of the place. I realize they’ve been here for decades but that’s what makes it cool. A million years ago, this was a fried chicken place, and the building has not been altered substantially since then. Check out the bathrooms! Tiny. They don’t build ‘em this way anymore.
