Very good latte. Creamy and served at the right temperature. Great atmosphere with the farmer’s market and the broadwalk.

Tried the PNW mint julep, which is muddled mint with espresso over ice and milk. It was delightfully refreshing on a hot summer day. Great ambience, interesting art, friendly and prompt service.

Had the iced soy vanilla latte. Smooth coffee and delicious! Glad I tried the place based on the Unilocalers’ review!

Solid coffee choices. A large french press all to yourself will cost you the same as a grande drip at Sbux. So in other words– if you love coffee… go here! Another Unilocaler mentioned the«Capital Blend» and I have to agree– it was awesome. Free Wi-fi and close to fun boutiques, gift stores and what not. Relaxed atmosphere makes it easy to work.

Beautiful coffee shop in the inside, a lot of open space for studying or having a small get together. The baristas are very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. You can also get a wide variety of different coffees that can also be ground there. Parking is on the street, prices are fair, and overall it’s a place you should go to if you are searching for a place to either study or just get a good cup of coffee in Olympia.

These guys make great coffee, and this is the location of the roaster and the tasting room. They do not serve food — that is at their coffee shop called Dancing Goats across the street. I think some of the reviewers got mixed up. However, if you want to learn how they make their coffee, taste some samples, and buy some beans to take home… this is the place.

Olympia is home-base to several micro-roasters and B&B is one of the earlier ones. Dancing Goats is a comfortable shop across the street from the Farmer’s Market. They care about their coffee, it’s roasting, it’s making & presentation. Enjoy! Free wi-fi has a «sign in» feature that requires your email to be entered. I’m a little suspicious when the hippies(I mean in a loving fair-trade, green, organic way) start asking for your email for 1 hour of free wifi access. Et tu, Brute? Is this marketing? What will you do with my email? Lol

Batdorf has a very unique and unforgettable taste, it is one of the best small size national roasters in the country. I will always be a big fan. I have some complaints about the way they do some things in their coffee shops but the coffee it’s self is great.

Stopped in for a mocha on a rainy day and it was great — not too sweet. Space is huge and looks like it would be a nice spot to do some work or hang out.

B&B was my first«real» cup of coffee when coming to Washington from Utah almost 20 years ago. Back then, they roasted the coffee in the back room. The roasting has moved a few blocks but the quality can not be beat. The staff are friendly and very real… I never get that Starbucks Stepford Wife feeling when they ask how your day is going. Also, the plush leather chairs and large fireplace make this the perfect place on rainy days.

Creative«coffee tasting» concept that is fun to try. It’s also right next to the Olympia Farmer’s Market so its super easy to pop in and have some samples. Batdorf Coffee, while not my absolute favorite, is local and sure beats places like Starbucks.

If I could, I’d give this place a thousand stars bc it is the BEST place I’ve ever had coffee. This place easily blows any chain coffee shop out of the water. This location is convenient for when I want to head over to the farmer’s market. I have only tried the vanilla latte, bc it is so goood. I’m sure other things here are just as amazing, however I haven’t explored beyond that yet. All of their coffee is fresh, the customer service is outstanding, and their cups are compostable! The best coffee you will ever drink is here.

Move over Starbucks and Seattle’s Best… this place will blow you both out of the water! This place shows customers what coffee should actually taste like. Their iced vanilla latte is the best I’ve ever had. And that’s saying something since I’ve been all over Europe and to some mean national coffee houses. However, the depth of flavor of this place is not only memorable, it’s down right delicious! I don’t care if you’ve never liked coffee or if you’re a thrice daily caffeine addict, this is the place for you. And it helps that the baristas are cute and friendly too! ;)

A rare 5-star rating fro me! I’ve been ordering Batdorf coffee for more than a decade. Now that I’m living in Germany, I still order Batdorf online. I think Batdorf is simply the best coffee you can get.

Love this coffee. In Seattle I get it at Javasti, near my house in Maple leaf. When I am in Ellensburg, the best coffee there is at , love Raw Space and the Stumbling Goat roast!

Sometimes I feel entitled to a seat. This place is way too popular and I am often left standing and envious of the lucky squatters. But, I can’t remove stars because of its popularity. The snacks are good. The coffee is good. And, the people watching is great. This is a much better option than the Starbucks down the block. Next time, I am getting here early enough so I can pony-up near an outlet for my laptop.

I am leaning towards 3 stars for my personal beverage experience here but I’m taking into account my traveling companion’s coffee and overall ambiance of the establishment so I’m going with 4 stars in the end. After walking around town in the drizzle, we were cold & wanted a nice warm-up. Coffee, chai & spiced cider were ordered. From what I heard, the coffee and chai were good. Quite good. And a welcome alternative to Starbucks down the street. My spiced cider was local and made by Latin’s so I was excited to try a local specialty. However, I was slightly underwhelmed by what I called, ‘hot juice.’ It wasn’t spicy really or have much complexity,(as far as cider goes) so I was warmed but not exactly blown over by it. The entire was made better though because we snagged a lovely leather couch & chair at the back for some nice sit-down time to rest our weary bones. The place was crowded with locals studying & reading; it had a nice, relaxing feel. I will return here on my next visit to Oly to try their java for sure.
