I love this place! So much better than the taco truck across the street. Service is awesome! Food is very authentic!!!

After many bad Mexican food experiences in Olympia, I was glad to find this place. Very fresh and simple. Not much for a family sit down place, but awesome to-go. Also sells awesome Mexican candy, icecream, spices, and sodas. People are nice too. Favorite place to eat!

Fuckin’ mediocre, and I wasted extra money on extra salsa. One more try, maybe…

DONOTEATATTHISPLACE! I bought some bagged-up tamales that were supposed to be leftovers from what they couldn’t sell that day and there was mold on them. The salsa was also old and nothing like the ones sold in their main store in Tumwater. Somehow they remove the due date on their salsas sold here! When I called the guy that appeared to be the manager at the Harrison store, he said the tamales were two days old and to bring the moldy tamales back and he would«make it right», but when I showed up to return the damn tamales, he changed his mind and lied straight-faced that they weren’t moldy(because there were customers around_. The promise to «make things right» did not happen. He was a complete douche that did not give a damn about his customers. And, their tamales are mostly corn meal.

Nothing but good things to say about this authentic Mexican restaurant. Reasonable prices and exceptional food. We eat here at the very least once a week. The fish tacos are amazing. They open at 7am so if you need breakfast, try their delicious breakfast burritos. The staff is always friendly and professional. Highly recommended if you are anywhere near west side Olympia.

I only ate here once for a trio of tacos. The asada was awful. Overcooked and poor quality. The carnitas was so dry I had to douse it with sauce, and the pastor was beyond dry. Everything else appeared and smelled fine, but when a place cant make good tacos that is pathetic. I will try it again someday. They are very nice, and I did not have the heart to tell them how bad it was. The star is for their cheerful attitude.

Delicious burrito! I have been searching west Olympia for a legit burrito with all the fixings! The tortilla was so soft and warm and flaky. I love how it includes avacado, cheese and sour cream at no extra charge. The meat was great– loved the rice and beans. My boyfriend got it smothered in Tomatillo Sauce– neither of us likes that sauce. Everything else was delicious! Great place for a dank burrito– great price.

Ramirez is by far the best, and probably most authentic, Mexican food in Olympia. Fresh ingredients, super tasty, I buy their chips and salsa all the time for home, and rock their fish tacos on my lunch break at least weekly. I will especially highlight their«Hot Avocado Sauce» salsa, which all my friends have now been turned onto. Friendly staff, good prices, great location.

I was super glad to see that my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area opened a spot closer to my work. As mentioned it is mainly take out only. There is a small bar area you can eat at, but it would be very uncomfortable. They have daily specials around the $ 5 price, and you definitely can’t beat that value. Their food is what you have come to expect from the Ramirez Mexican Store, super flavorful and super fresh ingredients. One of the best lunch spots on Olympia’s west side.

I love this place. I’ve been going to the Tumwater location for years and was very happy to see they opened another location closer to my house. This location is take out only but that’s ok. My favorite is the chicken enchilada combo with the green sauce. I find it very flavorful and delicious. I also LOVE the rice and beans… Definitely the best Mexican food around here in my opinion.

This is a new taqueria on the westside and I was hopeful it would be a good one since there is a lack of really great Mexican food here. Sadly it’s bad, to near terrible. This was my second time going there and my last. Why? Bland, boring, not cheap, salty(and I love salt), dry, and just lackluster. Want specifics? Rice was mush, no seasoning and all crumbly. Beans tasted like paste. Enchiladas, dried out tortilla and sauce that is weak. On it’s positive side the employees seem friendly enough and they sell salsa and pickles to go. Though the salsa they gave me was no beuno. Also on my first visit the convinced me to try the wet burrito, which had dry and lean carnitas the same beans, rice, and blandly bad sauce. Not trying to hate and I feel bad leaving a negative review, but put some love and flavor in the food and you’ll be successful.
