Great knowledge and customer service. They were very friendly and helped us wire the new parts free of charge. We will be back to order more parts through these guys.

I purchased a hot tub way back around 2007. Delivery of the tub arrived on time although I was supposed to receive a call so I could be there upon delivery. I had the tub for approximately 1 – 1.5 yrs when the motor went out. I called Spa Depot and they said they were not able to help me because they were not making that type of motor anymore. So, I began searching on my own. I finally found a place in downtown Walnut Creek. The sales person did some calling around and found one. He did bring it to my attention that the motor that was sent with my unit had been«sitting» on the shelf for over 2 years. According to Spa Depots warranty policy, that motor was already out of warranty when I received it! I took them to court and of course I lost because of the warranty issue! These people are scammers. Please be aware of them. They seem very nice on the phone when you speak with them and until you receive your unit… After that, you are on yout own and they couldn’t care less… they now have your money. I finally got rid of my unit. By the time I would have purchased the new motor and paid for someone to come out and install it(by the way, since it was by another company, nobody from another company in my area that had the expertise would not touch my unit,) my bill would’ve been been upwards of $ 1000.00, if I could’ve found someone to work on my tub. I gave Spa Depot 1 star because I had to give them something! DONOTUSETHISCOMPANY.

Great Customer service! I’ve bought spa supplies and pumps for my spas from them for several years. Recently, I got a pump that died after about a week of use and The Spa Depot was great in getting me a new pump and getting my refund done promptly.

Just like the review from Jamie H. We’ve had the same experience which makes me think these people are scamming customers! My wife ordered our cover on Feb 12th. The chemicals arrived but not the cover. My wife inquired after several weeks as to the where abouts of the cover. Only to find that the shipping company supposedly had the wrong address so our cover sat in a warehouse for 3 weeks. My wife’s called and only Spa Depot can change the shipping information. So she’s called 4 times and spoken to these people /customer serviceless! I’ve also taken time off from work to be here for the scheduled delivery. Only not to have any thing show up, nor not phone call letting us know anything. After 6 weeks now my wife wanted to cancel the order but was told we were not able to. So this is theft when you get your money taken and nothing in return. The time and cost we’ve now had to spend only to receive nothing but anguish is terrible Do yourself a favor and shop someplace else!

Ordered new supplies(hot tub chemicals and new filters) after researching on the Internet for best prices. I ordered on a Friday and was expecting to receive all of it sometime the following week. On Saturday morning(the very next day) a box came via USPS! I was extremely surprised at their lightning fast service. I’m glad I found these folks! I’ll definitely use them again.

Order chemicals and a spa cover. Chemicals arrived no problem, very satisfied with that part. HOWEVER, the spa cover was supposed to be delivered on 31 December between the hours of 0800−2000…no delivery, no phone call. Called the company on 2 January and they could not explain what happened. Rescheduled deliver for 5 January 2016, AGAIN no delivery and no phone call. I have now taken 18 hours of vacation because they were supposed to deliver this cover… not happy. Spa Depot could not tell me where my hot tub cover was at this time. finally received a call that they needed to schedule yet another delivery.11 January 2016 delivery between 0800 — 1400, hot tub cover arrived at 1350 with a damaged corner… SOWILLNOTBEORDERINGFROMTHEMAGAIN… SORRYONELESSCUSTOMER.

Fantastic deal all the way around! needed a new filter for the tub. looked at several sites before coming across Spa Depot. they had the cheapest price of them all. I ordered on a Friday around noon. the filter showed up on Saturday, some time around 2pm I think. we had no idea it had even shown up! there it was, on the front porch, as big as life. couldn’t be happier.

We have a brand new spa that was delivered on Saturday. The Wednesday before I ordered all the chemicals I would need for this new addition. They got shipped the next day via USPS, expected date of arrival was to be Monday. Bought shocker from Lowe’s and figured I could wait till Monday for everything else. Well, here it is Wednesday, still no package. Tracking shows it left Washington, but where it is now who knows. Had to go out last night and buy $ 50 worth of chemicals to get me by. If it doesn’t show up in the next day or two, I’ll be out more $$ as there are other chemicals I need. When I called customer service, it was a «well, when UPSP gets there, their not always reliable» Really??? Why does your company use them for delivery? UPS at least will refund shipping cost if it not delivered on time. FedEx is also very reliable when it comes to delivery time. I’ll buy my chemicals local or from Amazon from now on so I can be sure that I receive them when I need them.

I have purchased several hot tub covers for 2 different property’s in the past. I called and explained this to the gentlemen that helped me when I was trying to order a new one. I also went onto their website and the only 2 orders showing had one with a grey top and one with a mocachino top. I had previously purchased a grey top and so I assumed that this was the correct hot tub cover that I needed to order. Apparently my previous grey top order didn’t show up on the online system and so when we ordered the cover we got the wrong size which fits my hot tub at my 2nd property. I tried to explain this to the gentlemen and he located the correct size in his system but said that the error was mine since I didn’t go out and make sure that the cover I was ordered was the right size. I understand that there is error on my part but take responsibility for yours Spa Depot. The gentlemen kept talking over me and wouldn’t try to understand why I was so frustrated and felt that at least a discounted rate to order a new cover should be given. Oh no that was not happening with this guy. So disappointed and I will not be purchasing any other products from this company! A hot tub is in the near future and they lost my business.

I have placed two orders with Spa Depot. Both were filled accurately and delivered the next day, even with the free shipping option. Nice! I also found the prices to be better than what I can get here in Portland, OR stores. Double Nice!

We purchased a Belize oval hot tub from Spa Depot barely 4 years ago. Yesterday we had to have the motor replaced at a cost of $ 500. My husband was religous about keeping the chemicals properly balanced and it did not receive hard use. We certainly expected the motor to last longer than that!

Great customer service email pics of old spa Mark in tech support found what I needed and interacted with an old duffer with patience. I like to buy and support local but at times the cost just becomes too much I bought a whole new heater for the cost of the element at home. Service, price and responsiveness!

I’m really liking my Lifecast hot tub, but wasn’t too happy about how hard and costly it was to use it. When my tub arrived, I was hoping that they’d be able to set it up in my backyard, but I was wrong. The UPS driver was to only deliver it to my front door. I called the Spa Depot, and they couldn’t help me on setting up my hot tub. I was basically screwed. After that, I called Olympic Hot Tub and they referred me to Spa Delivery Service. I had to pay $ 350 just to move my tub from the garage to the back yard. They have never seen a Lifecast, so I had to fill it myself. If/when I need a new hot tub, I kinda doubt that I’ll use Spa Depot again. Too much of a hassle.

Update… After posting the review below on 8⁄17(and a similar one on the Spa Depot Website) I received an email from a Spa Depot’s Customer Service representative on 8⁄18. They more than made up for the missing product. I plan on using them for my spa supplies in the future. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — Overall, reasonable prices and unexpectedly fast shipping. BUT buyer beware! One of the products I ordered in August of 2014 was a 1 lb(454 g) bottle of there own brand«Power Soak» filter cartridge cleaner. When I was unpacking my order I noticed that the container of «Power Soak» looked only a little more than half full. I figured it had settled during shipping. Just for grins, I weighed the bottle — 420 g — including the packaging. Fail. So I contacted the folks at The Spa Depot via their customer service email… Crickets, no response, not a concern in the world. Sad.

Previous orders with Spa Depot were a top notch experience. A July 23 spa cover order is a different story, of course they got paid 7÷23÷14. Today is three weeks with no word from them or online shipping info! Website says 2 and one half weeks to manufacture. After waiting 15 minutes for website on-line chat, gave up and tried phone, better but not good. Rep says manufacturing should be complete next week(8÷18−8÷22), that makes a month to build, website should be updated to reflect a 4 week manufacturing interval and/or provide periodic emails to customer!!! I guess wait it is!!! Yippee Yi Ye… Delivered 8÷27÷14 finally’ Now I’m happy!!!

Sent me an extra item and wrong jet, sent items back after I was given two addresses to send items to. Two power cords vanished and now they get back power cords, plus $ 21.90 that I paid for them, this doesn’t even include the money I spent shipping items back. Terrible customer service. I was also instructed to take a pic of the jet I needed and send it to them. I did this and never got a response. They can keep the $ 21.90. Very cheesy way for such a big company to rip off a consumer. Go with another company. These people are unethical and immoral.

I’ve used for several years now for everything we need for our old but functioning hot tub. Our purchases include the bromine, water balancing chemicals and spa filters. They always seem to have the best prices and ship unbelievably quick. We did have a problem with one order(a couple weeks ago) and they replaced the damaged item right away — no hassle and their customer service person was very polite and apologetic for the issue. This year we bought a new spa cover from them. The price was very reasonable and it really looks well-made.

Spa Depot has always delivered and unlike the other review, they made good when an item was missing from my box. The guy I called looked up the shipping weight from shipping company and said the box was too light so he knew there was a part missing. Delivery is timely and price is fair and I always get great advice when I call for help on something. As for the missing part I have ordered a fair amount of stuff so one mistake would not drop a star considering they shipped it to me immediately after my call.

Bought their Saltron mini chlorine generator for spas and it burnt out my heater on the spa. Rather the salt did. So I never actually used the thing. Put it in the water and the spa died. So the spa company gave me a free heater and said don’t use salt again. Called and asked if they will refund me. No they said. Suggested I sell it on Craigs list. Nice customer service. So no warranty nor guarantee. Really standing behind their products huh? $ 200 gone down the drain…

Easy to find what you want, easy to order. My heater arrived in 2 days. With 2 new couplers that weren’t listed in the description. 2 days later I ordered 2 more fittings. They made it very easy to order the correct part, fast delivery again. Prices are great. don’t bother shopping around. Save time and avoid headaches. Order from spa depot.
