We typically stay elsewhere, but budget cuts have landed us here. In general, the place looks ok — until you stay for a few minutes. I really don’t like leaving negative reviews and the front desk staff are friendly, but the hotel just isn’t a professionally acceptable place to stay. Dirty white tile floors, rooms that have lingering odor, and staff that barge in at their whim await you. 5 times this has happened. Management’s response: oh, he was just going to fix something, she was just getting started on cleaning… They have a free meal that is worthwhile 50% of the time. It’s free, so I won’t be too upset about wilted lettuce at dinner and awful, fake tasting eggs at breakfast. Its not bad if you compare the cleanliness to camping. On the bright side, the employees are friendly and the hotel sits just off of Omaha’s enormous paved trail system.

Beautiful clean place with a kitchen. Smoker are on the 3rd floor, and usually will be in entrance way, and not in North 40 where they belong. This is perfect for folks looking for extended stay. They serve breakfast and dinner as well for free(complimentary for you fancy folks) Right off the interstate. There are no restaraunts within walking distance.(about half mile away) Free parking(Omaha, of course it is) I wish all my hotels stays were like this place

I am tried of paying high prices for fancy hotels. So, i chose Howthorn Suits since i wanted to save and get nice service. I stayed 2 weeks and so far hotel and stuff provided everything what i wanted. TV room, breakfast, gym, huge laundry, enough kitchen tools to cook for myself. this place worth all pennies i spent. Be back next time.

Second time around staying here in the last few weeks. Place is great, like the other review said very quiet surrounding area. Staff is nice no matter what time you check in & is more then willing to help with a late checkout if possible. Room size is fantastic & has a nice kitchenette if you feel the need to whip up a home meal. Close to the interstate which is always nice. Would definitely stay here again if I had the chance to!

We found this place last minute on the«Hotel Tonight» app, for $ 63 plus taxes($ 75 total). We checked in around 10:15pm, and the front desk person was exceedingly friendly and helpful, in a way that felt genuine. Offered us bottled water and snacks. I was worried we’d get judged, as we look more like hippies than their seemingly more business-oriented clientele, but every staff person I came across was friendly and super nice. Bed was comfy, I like the new modern décor,(apparently a recent remodel), and the kitchenette in the room even had a dishwasher and very decent cooking pans!(Though we didn’t cook there). I appreciated the softer lighting in the bathroom, and the toiletries were more«natural». Towels were nice and soft, too. No pool or hot tub, but a nice business center with a couch, flat screen tv, and computer with printer. Quiet part of town, in a business park. I have no idea if there are restaurants anywhere close by… Didn’t look like it. I felt safe and relaxed there though. Breakfast(included in the rate) was the typical hotel faire, with waffle iron, something resembling scrambled eggs, a pork sausage patty that fulfilled my protein needs, decent coffee, muffins, etc. That said, I’d stay here again.
