Great spot! I popped in to find a birthday gift for my significant other, and found the salesman to be helpful and mindful of my budget. It’s nice and centrally located, and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. Would surely shop there again.

Excellent service. I went in to get something last minute before an interview. They all helped me find something and even tailored it right away and tied my tie! Very friendly staff and nice clothing.

I’ve since been contacted here on Unilocal by an employee of Jerry Ryan named Nicholas who, according to Jerry Ryan’s homepage, is their Creative Director and the person responsible for utilizing the Internet to bring in new customers. Based on my prior review, I expected a «we’re sorry you had a poor experience at our store but we’d love to hear your concerns» type of message. No, instead I received a rather hostile message from Nicholas telling me that the staff at the store has laughed at my «ridiculous» review for «years» and that I should let them know the next time I «plan to spend an excruitating [sic] ten minutes in [their] store.»
I was shocked and reached out to Dan Ryan, the owner. Dan seemed very nervous on the phone, but assured me he’d discuss the matter with Nicholas. Several days passed and I replied to Nicholas here on Unilocal and informed him of my feelings on the matter and my intention to update this review. I gave him an opportunity to «try again» by apologizing in some fashion. Nothing but silence.
At this point, I have no course of action other than to write this update. I am sure that the merchandise is just fine, but the level of disregard for the rules of retail and contempt for their customers (as can be seen in the other two-​star review) should make the shopping public take pause. A business that behaves in this way should not be rewarded for it.
Caveat emptor.

Word of caution regarding the tailoring aspect… they take your items home to alter them, without your notification or authorization. Apparently no one else seems to have an issue with this!!! I was appalled. What about people with allergies?!! Cats, Dogs, smoker??? Who knows… just know… your items don’t stay at the store. I think it’s unbelievable they didn’t ask permission.
The owner, Dan, is good at customer service. The other employes definitely lack the compassion and sympathy when you have drastic issues. But I did call the owner and discuss with him serious problems. He did majorly rectify the problem, which I appreciate and value.

Simply the best– service — staff — selection in men’s suits and sportswear in Omaha. Try them and you’ll agree. I did.
