On Sunday afternoon at approximately 4:00 PM, my wife and I visited the Oak View Mall location. I was looking to get an eye examination and new pair of glasses. While my wife and I were looking at frames, a young woman with long blonde hair approached us and offered to assist. We explained that I would need an exam and were looking at new glasses. She remained with us a few moments when the phone rang which she told us she would be right back.
When she was done with the call, she proceeded to go over and help an elderly couple which took a little time. We continued to look at frames and had selected a frame on our own which I was going to use with my new glasses. When the employee was done assisting the elderly couple, she started back over toward my wife and I. Rather than assisting us (which was way over due from her ‘I’ll be right back’) she asked some young guy if she could help him even though I was walking toward her with the frames I selected in hand. The young guy started asking about sun glasses, your blonde employee was completely ignoring my wife and I.
I set the frames back in the rack and mentioned to my wife that we should go downstairs at which the blonde girl had the nerve to say something to the effect of «Have a good night.» (I would have had a good night if this girl has assisted us like she said she was going to do)
I have experienced poor service over my years and sometimes say that the level of horrible service couldn’t possibly get any worse, this girl proved me wrong. I am not sure if this girl did not want to help us because my wife is Asian or if she really is that bad at her job. I have contacted Corporate already and hope I get something other than the typical canned email some companies send out.

My sister went for an optometrist appointment only to check her prescription. What do you think the prices were?
We have been to actual doctors from Cleveland Clinic to your local Costco eye center, and we know an eye prescription is maximum 70 $, for a thorough prescription check.
Well my sister was never told of their ‘health eye exam’ fraud and nothing about the prices until my poor dad had to pay a mysterious 200 $$$$!!!
We came the next day to clarify the situation and ask why neither my dad nor my sister were informed of the tests or the prices, and they rudely were like ‘well our price is our price’ and were very rude and didn’t do anything about it.
Of course, never going near that place ever, and I recommend you be careful and spare being cheated!

Dr. Robertson and staff were a pleasure. I felt welcomed by all in the office. Not only did Dr. Robertson provide a thorough eye exam, but it was quick! A week later I received a personal letter in the mail thanking me for choosing Lenscrafters.
