The livestock exchange building has many businesses in the building but also has apartment for rent.(Washer & dryers included also dish washers, trash chutes on every floor, private access to building. They also pay some utilities) the apartments are honestly kind of cheaply put together, but It is affordable and near I-80. Nearby shopping, day cares, metro, & the library, school… It’s convienent. They spray regularly for bugs … & I’ve never seen any. Its decent for the price, space, and what it offers.

The Livestock Exchange building was originally constructed in 1926 as the center of the livestock industry in Omaha. While the stockyards themselves are gone, this building(on the historic register) remains. There are several companies located in the building(this is currently under change so I won’t elaborate) and apartments on the upper floors. We worked with Brandeis catering to host our wedding reception in the North Ballroom on the 10th floor. With soaring 22-ft ceilings, hardwood floors and a built-in bar and stage this place was absolutely perfect.
