Simply Ballroom

Simply ballroom is by far the best studio to go to in Omaha! Both Instructors Rachelle and Alex are as talented as they are friendly. If you go into their studio with a lot of experience or none at all they will make you feel comfortable learning all while having a great time. They take the time to teach you proper ballroom and Latin dancing steps, you won’t be pushed through the steps when you’re dancing like other studios have done with me before, they do the steps first so you can mimic them then they do them with you (you don’t feel hurried to get them done). I would recommend the group classes first then you can utilize the private lessons to really hone your skills. The dance parties are also great for meeting other dance students and getting more practice in.

We had so much fun learning the foxtrot for our first dance at our lesson! Our instructor, Alex, was super friendly, talented and made us both feel comfortable. We would recommend Alex and Simply Ballroom to everyone!

The classes are fun but the way they are scheduled you can’t really build on the last lesson. The people who go are super nice but there are definitely not enough men going to be able to practice what you learn. I am still trying to find a ballroom home.
