Only been a few time recently, but this has rapidly become my favorite bar downtown to hang out with my friends at. Not expensive, has fast service, not crazy loud so we have to yell at each other, and has some free games to play if they don’t have a band playing.

A lower level bar with pool tables and had a solid DJ the night I was there. The atmosphere depends on who you are with and if it is crowded. Was there with a lot of colleagues so it was a good atmosphere. Have a feeling with it half full it wouldn’t be so lively.

T. Henery’s tends to be the only place I go to downtown now! It is a very relaxed environment, they have great music selections and sometimes live bands. I’ve even come in before and they had a karaōke night. The staff is very friendly and all the people seem to have a great time.

Thenerys is by far the best bar downtown. Staff is great. Fast service. Great atmosphere.

Sitting at 4 stars now. This could easily be a 5 star for my friends and I! Located under The Michaels’ Mexican restaurant, T. Henery’s is just Irish enough for me on St. Patrick’s day and just hispanic enough for Cinco De Mayo. It works well other days of the year too. Always a place where I bring out of towners and go quite often for fun and good times. Decent Bose jukebox and super fun karaōke when they have it. I was able to use a Pinpoint and get a free $ 15 bar tab and again in my birthday month a$ 10. worth every penny. I like to think of it as the Homy of the Old Market although I am sure I may get some backlash for that bold statement. Give them a shot

The staff is the worst. I spent the night there helping a band load out. The staff were rude and ungracious. I was there to expedite the load out. The staff was ungracious and condescending. I will never go to their establishment again.

T Henery’s seemed like an OK place. I’ll have to come back again some time. We came down here one night unaware of live music and a cover charge. We walked in and it was completely packed. People were literally packed so tight they got angry with someone trying to walk to the bar. They had a special on PBR tallboys which is what I ended up drinking. Looked like an OK selection of other stuff, nothing to be proud of though. Not sure who the band was but they were pretty bad. Overall too loud and crowded for me but I’ll have to come back and try it again if I find a band I like playing here.

We popped in here to hear some live music while we were on a mini-vacation in Omaha. It’s a below-street level bar, sort of a mix between an old-man dive atmosphere and a typical college bar. They’ve got pool and pinball. In general in Omaha, I wasn’t impressed by the beer selection — all of the bars seemed to have the same 6 or 8 beers on tap, with only 2 – 3 being micro brews. Minneapolis has spoiled me I guess. The service was pretty friendly and prompt, no complaints there. The cover band was quite good — they played a mix of newer songs and classics, and did a great job engaging the crowd. There was an interesting mix of people in the bar on a Saturday night. Several bachelorette parties came through. There was a fascinating mix of men wearing flannel, women in tight, short cocktail dresses and 6 inch heels and women dressed more casually. There was some great people watching. Overall, it was a pretty fun Saturday night because of the band.

Another dive bar in Old Market. The inside is dimly lit. The entrance is underground, so you have to go down a flight of stairs. Looks sketchy and is quite narrow. The inside is filled with vintage hipster stuff, with lots of brick everywhere. The benches look like they were ripped out of some local diner and it feels like the 1970s in here. There’s a pinball machine in here as well as a foosball table. Drinks here are unfortunately not too cheap. The special today(Friday) was a $ 4PBR tall boy. Not a good deal by any means. $ 3.75 shots also aren’t anything special. The place is half-decent, but honestly there are better options within a couple of blocks of here.

I didn’t stay too long when I was there but it seems like this place was pretty cool. The staff catered to the people and really seem to enjoy what they do. I could see it getting a little wild in there on busy nights… but overall good downtown Omaha bar experience.

I’d never been to T-Henry’s before our first stop on the Patio Ride, but as you might expect around 4:30pm on a Saturday afternoon it was relatively empty(but open!) Beer and a shot for something like $ 5 was our special offer as riders and away we went! On a 99 degree day hanging out in this basement bar was a pretty good idea. Note that they have two entrances/exits. One on the South side and another on the East side past the bar and restrooms. There’s also the largest jukebox screen I’ve ever seen and a band was setting up as we were leaving. Just a regular basement bar, and that’s okay by me.

I’ve been to T. Henery’s Pub several times throughout the years. I don’t normally go out for drinks in the Old Market but when I do, this is usually one of the places we end up. It’s the type of place that doesn’t really stand out but it’s fairly laid back and a place where you can have a conversation. Last night, my wife and I met up with three friends for some post-dinner drinks. The biggest reason for going is the fact that we had a $ 15 bar tab from Pinpoint. We started a tab and while settling up, my wife presented the bartender with the coupon which he refused to take. He said that we needed to give it to them upon starting the tab. I re-read the coupon and no where did it state that we had to present the coupon in advance. I tried to explain it but he told me that he was unable to accept it or even re-run the debit card to give me credit. I will likely not go back as a result of the poor customer service.

Good drink specials throughout the week. On sat nights they usually have a band or a DJ that are pretty good. There’s a pool table, Foosball table, and darts to keep you occupied. The bartenders are top notch and friendly. A very mixed crowd of great people. Can get crowded on the weekends with touring bachelor or bachelorette parties. Always a fun time!
