The food is typical waffle house fare. Prepared well but management keeps the restaurant too cold because it is ‘too hot’ in the kitchen. Every kitchen is too hot. It is so cold I left after 15 minutes because the cooks and wait staff was hot. How about thinking of the customer!

It’s diner food. Look at the dollar menu. The Texas Sausage Biscuit is $ 1 and it’s a meal. The Texas Egg and Cheese was really good too ($ 1 as well). The plain waffle is delish as well. Do not put too much syrup on it. This one is much better than the one on Opelika Rd. by Big Lots. 4 stars for price and satisfaction of items I listed. Not 5 stars because the menu is not consistently good.

What can you say — Waffle Houses are pretty consistent. You go, get some hashbrowns your way and whatever else whets your appetite, pay the nice low price, and leave full of greasy goodness!
They never close so you know that WH will be there for you!
