Historic COD Ranch

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Historic C.O.D. Ranch. It was an ideal location for our training week. Just remote enough to feel connected with the universe as we had such a glorious, unobstructed view of night sky. The staff and owner were so attentive and I appreciated the efforts to accommodate our dietary needs. I slept so well in the comfortable bed. It is a restock setting complete with trails and an authentic medicine wheel. I could feel the ancestors present. Thank you so much for the memorable visit!

The food is good, very good if the women are preparing it and OK if the guys are in charge. Otherwise WAY WAY overpriced. The place looks and feels very shabby which is different that rustic. The mattresses are like I had in camp as a kid. We were there a week and no one even came by to sweep the room. The large room used for meetings and gatherings is disgusting, the mold and mildew is overpowering. Every building seems specifically placed to have a direct view of another building or the parking areas? I am not sure what the right price is for a place this disappointing is but 220 dollars per night for two people in a crummy room with three meals a days could get you a lot more beauty, cleanliness and amenities then offered here.
