Excellent place to stay. On the high end to pay, but so worth it for a private, relaxing getaway right on the beach. Amazing managers, DELICIOUS breakfast, great patio, pool, hot tub, beach access… Everything you could possibly want out of beach vacation. I could write a novel about how amazing our stay was here, but I will only recommend you to check this place out for yourself. If as many people knew how terrific this was, you’d have to book a year in advance!

Had a lovely time at the ORH. Debbie and Greg were so sweet and accommodating. My husband and I have vacationed at many many beaches and this seaside bed and breakfast rates I our top 5. (even though I did burn). Today for breakfast Debbie made us banana walnut pancakes with eggs, bacon, grits, fruit, and hash browns. YUM! Yesterday biscuits and gravy. Hot tub, pool and a lovely deck available. We also enjoyed the oysters across the street. Right across the street is a state park where we went for walks and a run. We saw an alligator with her baby. Stay if you are in Orange Beach, if you are looking for a cozy cumfy place to enjoy the beach, this is the place to lay your head.

This is the nicest, coziest little B&B that we have stayed at. Darrell is very personable and takes pride in caring for his guests. Very romantic, very private, a must for anyone who wants a little R&R. We thoughly enjoyed our stay and will be back. The breakfasts are very delicious including the Peach pancakes. Check out The Original Romar House and you’ll find a little piece of paradise.
