Very nice place. Food was very good. Service was friendly. Minus one star because our table cloth, that has paper on it to color on, was dirty over our laps.

Great food, and great atmosphere. We sat outside, which was a lot of fun. The restaurant is in the middle of a little complex called The Wharf, and sitting outside made it almost seem like we were in Italy! Ok, not really, but it added to our experience. We had a very nice server, who was able to keep up with our changing orders, as well as the large party size. The food did take a while to come out, but was well worth the wait. We didn’t want to spoil our appetites by eating too much before our entrees and only got the calamari to share. It was ok. We were also given complimentary bread and olive tapenade, both of which were fresh and delicious. Between all of us, we got the short ribs, the pecan crusted snapper, the tuna, the scallop salad, the papardelle. Everything was delicious. The portions were a generous size for a restaurant of this kind.(i.e. in my experience the fancier places have smaller portions.) Someone at our table also ordered the house red, which they said was pretty good. I got the white sangria, which they were nice enough to make less sweet. Also, pretty good. The location, service, and food were all good. This is a pricier restaurant, with most entrees being over $ 20. This would be a good special occasion restaurant, especially, if sitting outside. The inside was nice too, but looked more homey.

This place is AMAZING! The food, atmosphere and service are all superb. My husband and I had the filet topped with the crab meat and my son had the pepperoni pizza and everything was delicious. Our waiter, Matthew, was FABULOUS! I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this wonderful Gem of a place! I highly recommend it!

Tried to eat here at 5:00 before Jimmu Buffett concert. 50% of tables were empty but was told they were«fully committed» until 8:30. I find it absolutely rediculous that a restaurant would not allow walk-ups. I will never try to eat here again.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Orange Beach. The food is delicious and the service is prompt & cheerful. Be sure to check out this one. We love their homemade chips among other items on the menu.

Enjoyed a great Tuesday evening dinner on May 24, 2016. Sat outside and enjoyed the cool breeze and music from the complex speakers. We had a baby with us so she was entertained by being outside. We had the seafood pasta and it was excellent. We also had a caprese salad and really enjoyed it. Great and attentive service. Would come back again!

Pricey but delicious! We came in last night for my husbands birthday. The bread before our meal was SUPER good. No beer on tap, not a fan of that. But the steak was good! Our server was nice. Everything was cooked good. There was a slight mix up with our steak, but they immediately fixed it and it was no problem. :)

First impression was that the place was a bit smaller than we were expecting. They do have plenty of patio seating however. Our server was very kind and took great care of us. The fool was amazing!

This place has a welcoming atmosphere and outdoor seating which is great for days with nice weather! We came here while on vacation for an early dinner so we were able to take our time. We started with a bottle of wine(ok, 2 bottles) and ordered a few appetizers because everything sounded amazing. First up was the charcuterie & cheese board(any place that has a charcuterie & cheese board sign me up!) The board included prosciutto and salami, a mango stilton cheese, gouda, cornichons, olives and assorted crackers. The mango stilton was to die for! Next we got the oyster sampler, this was great because it came with 2 of each of their specialty oysters so we got to taste each one. Our third appetizer was the crab bruschetta and it was a little piece of heaven in your mouth. Like all this wasn’t enough before our entrees came out they also served us bread with garlic and olive tampenade. This was the best to dip your bread in, actually it was so good they brought us another serving. Since I ate enough for a family of 6 before we ordered our entrees, I decided to go on the lighter end and went with the goat cheese and walnut salad. They definitely didn’t skip on the good stuff as my plate was full of the creamy greatness that is goat cheese. If you are in the area, I highly suggest this place. It’s in a great location and after dinner we were able to walk around the shops and even get ice cream a few doors down!

Food was just OK. Service was HORRIBLE but I think it may have just been our waiter who was the WORSTWAITEREVER.

We went to Villagio for lunch. They had a lamb and vegetable soup special that was unique and delicious. Our grilled oyster appetizer was good. The corvina fish sandwich was excellent, grilled fish was flaky and mild, the bunny was delicious. Villagio pizza was wood fired, crispy crust, very good. Prior to our food arriving we were treated with garlic and olive tampenade with some crusty Italian bread. A great touch! Service was good, and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

It’s not very often I rate a 5 but this place is a 4.5! Wandered in here for brunch but we both ended up getting the same salad — with scallops or tuna. SO good! Scallops were so well cooked and tender, like butter! Had a couple of other things here before and everything has always been good. It was cold and windy outside so they even let us in early — great service, too!

I agree with the 4.5 stars but don’t want to give it a five. They start out with Italian French bread and olive oil with crushed olives in the middle. The amount of olives in the middle was a bit overwhelming. I will probably ask to do without the olives next time. The food was excellent and the service was pretty good. The seafood pasta had blue crab meat throughout to give it the seafood taste even after the shrimp and scallops were eaten. The scallops were cooked very well. I really liked my boyfriends shrimp plate better though. The carrot cake slice was big. They had a wide selection on their drink menu. They had indoor and outdoor seating. The wharfs atmosphere is nice especially pretty at night. This restaurant wasn’t too crowded because it’s pretty much back to school time. It got busier than they planned for so we kinda had slower service at the end. We were stuffed after and I would be willing to go again.

It’s been almost 18 months since I’ve been here and at that time, things did not go well. My neighbor who knows I’m a foodie, began harping on me to go to Villagio’s Grille and try their Salmon Terrine appetizer saying it was amazing. So on the perfect early fall day, I had a desire for a nice glass of white wine and a light lunch. I was going to show no fear and come back to the Villaggio Grille. Firstly James our waiter he couldn’t of been more pleasant a good guy to have around. He was helpful and expeditious. But, then just about everyone there asked us how things were. The pictures I took of these dishes we got, still don’t do them justice. Awesome, awesome, awesome are the only words I have to describe the salmon and the calamari. The salmon for an appetizer could very well been an entrée. Plated superbly and it was delicious. The Calamari was crisp with a light dusting of parmesan cheese and lemon. Did I have a previous bad day of did Villaggio? at this point I didn’t care. The wine perfect, the food perfect, the service perfect! Tre Bien!!!
