I came here to get a Brazilian Blowout a couple weeks ago, My hair stylist was Beatrice and she was amazing! Last time I received a blowout, it took about 5 hours in the salon, this time Beatrice only took about 2 hours and 20 minutes to get the job done. She was efficient, professional and so personable. My results were incredible and my hair was silky smooth once she finished. I’m happy to say that my first experience was beyond incredible, and I definitely would recommend Beatrice. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied and will continue to come to Addiction from here on out!

I love getting my hair done by Michelle Gilgert. My hair looks healthy and amazing. I don’t like to flip flop with hair stylist and I’m so sold with her. She uses Oplex on my hair since I have my hair lighter and and it is totally worth a very penny anyways I drive all the way from Corona to the OC to get my hair done at Addictions! Totally recommend this place and Michelle!

I have been going to MICHELLE GILBERT now for a while and every time she does my color it’s amazing. She also does my extensions a kills it every time! She’s such an amazing stylist! I guarantee everyone will be happy after they leave her chair! I went from growing out a pixie (longest piece was to my chin) and then puting in the extensions and blending them so well you can’t even tell it’s not mine. Her skill is unbelievable! Everyone should come to her!

Michelle is amazing!!! She did my hair and makeup for my wedding along with everyone in my wedding party. Amazing job! I will not trust anyone else to do my hair.

Took a shot based on the reviews and I’m so glad I did! Eric was so great and friendly. I brought a photo of a style and color I liked. He heard everything that I wanted and asked questions to make sure we were on the same page. I have thick, longer hair with a little color oops of my own. He did a beautiful color that covered my gray roots and that really complemented by skin tone. The cut and style were spot on too. I felt so glamorous when I left! And I couldn’t believe the price, only 135 for both (not including tip). I’ve paid a lot more for a lot less. I’ll definitely be back to see Eric!

I came to the salon after my friend got her hair done there by MICHELLE — it looked so good I had to go myself! The salon itself is clean and nicely decorated… you just get a good vibe there. All of the stylists seem friendly with their clients and each other (not like some salons where you could cut the tension with a knife!). Sunny, the owner of the salon, has a real presence there which is probably why the staff and premises are so on point. Service was 5 stars. You know you can’t trust your hair to just anyone and it’s always a little nerve-​racking switching salons or stylists. MichellE poured me a glass of champagne, listened to what I wanted, and explained her process which totally put me at ease. She took her time, and my hair turned out exactly how I wanted. Definitely worth checking out.

Came back to update my review because I have had several more appointments with MICHELLE GILBERT since my last review. Since my last post about my visits to Addiction salon I decided to go back full blonde. MICHELLE has been with me since the days that I decided to BOX DYE my hair burgundy (bad idea btw)… slowly but surely we have lightened and corrected the color. When I first went in I wanted to just strip the whole thing and go blonde immediately. Michelle’s expertise and caution against doing this, so as to not ruin my hair, has led me safely down the path to beautiful, healthy blonde hair again. We did a series of ombres and hand painted bayalage to get me from point A to point B. MICHELLE suggested I go for the OLAPLEX treatment during my visits which is literally the first product I will ever say with certainty… helped save my hair. Going blonde is super hard on your hair and this stuff protects it. I can’t finish this update without mentioning, again, that Addiction is my favorite salon Michelle has worked at. The prices are really fair, the front desk staff is really sweet, and I’ve never had trouble making an appointment or having them run behind when I get there.
PS I see Michelle got a one start review down there from a disgruntled customer… and I am really confused. I’ve recommended Michelle to everyone and I’ve only been thanked for the recommendation. My next door neighbor now goes to Michelle, and her husband and three elementary school age kids also go to her as well. That review just struck me as very odd. oh and I have had SEVERAL interactions with Sunny (the owner she refers to) and she has always been very professional, sweet and accommodating. I don’t usually jump in on other people’s reviews but that one jumped out at me as very strange!

Come see MICHELLE GILBERT!!! She is amazing. I am not normally someone who gets their hair done very often and when I come here she always makes me look and feel awesome! Even if it’s just for a quick curl, my hair has been on point every single time I walk out of this salon. I am def hooked and will not be this comfortable with anyone else. If you’re looking for the best come to Addiction!

My stylist was Ryane and she was phenomenal! Very friendly and easy to talk to. I went in for a trim and idk what she did but she magically managed to make my hair less poofy when it’s dry and straight. She thinned out the ends and fixed my side bangs which were uneven. I definitely suggest requesting her if you decide to drop by!

Laurie has to be one of the finest beauticians EVER! She really knows her stuff. Always up on the latest fashions in hair styles.
Me and my daughter go there regularly and she does the best work. I go in there with horrible looking ends, frizzy hair, damaged and walk out like a million bucks! Thanks Laurie

The worse salon I’ve ever been to period!!! They scheduled me with Michelle for cut and color. I told her to match my current color since my hair turned out way darker than before. When she washed my hair she got water inside my ears and I mean a lot! Then after she finished cutting my hair one side was longer than the other and I had to tell her to fix it. That was ok until I went back to my work. When I stepped in several people asked why my hair color was so dark. I looked in the mirror again and it was super black and my natural hair color was more brownish/​black. Then people saw hair color around my face, the back of my neck, on my cheek, a lot in my ear line and a lot in my ear!!! One spot under my collar bone.
I called back and asked for the owner. They said she’s not available and she asked if she could help me with something. I said I really need to talk to the owner and asked for her name. Her name is Sunny. She finally picked up the phone so I told her I have hair color all over my face, etc. I tried to remove them with 100% alcohol with no success. She said I had to go back in because it needs to be removed with hair color remover.
I had to waste time to go back. I had another person with me to help them spot all the hair color that needed to be removed since she kept missing all the spots.
I told the owner, Sunny that if I were her I would refund the money since I have a business myself. She finally offered to do that but I said forget it since she didn’t offer it to begin with. Never go to this salon! All the positive reviews must be written by their employees!!!

Sunny did a subtle caramel balayage on my black hair that I have not colored in over 5 years. It looks phenomenal and I’ve gotten so many compliments on my hair. She listened to what I wanted and patiently looked through my Pinterest pins of the kind of look I wanted. My hair now has character and depth that was definitely lacking before. I had a great experience! I think I’ve found my new Salon spot in OC!

This review is for Beatrice. I went to Addiction Salon a few weeks ago to get a blowout and my make-​up done for a professional headshot. Beatrice was awesome. I hardly wear make-​up so I asked her for a natural look and very soft curls. I regret not taking pictures to post here, but trust me she was fantastic! I’ll definitely come see her again if I need hair and make-​up done.

I am the worst about getting my haircut, literally the worst. I also think it’s difficult going somewhere new & not knowing what to expect. My mom convinced me to give it a try, so I bought a groupon and made an appointment.
First impression: really beautiful interior, the sweet receptionist (Carla) checked me in and brought me a mimosa.
Consultation: Michelle is awesome! She literally listened to all of my concerns, and complaints with how my hair has turned out after a series of lackluster cuts. She wanted to make sure I was comfortable with how much I was cutting off (my main concern was keeping the length). She is the second stylist in my life to recognize that yes I have a lot of hair, but that it is really fine NOT thick. I told her I wanted some layers, but that I was more concerned with growing it all out to an even length.
Cut: instead of chopping the hair upwards so it appears more textured she cut it straighter (which is exactly what I wanted & asked for!). She went back and fixed the front, and payed so much attention to detail.
Blow dry & style: again exactly how I wanted it.
Overall, it is really refreshing to visit a hair stylist who LISTENS to what I want, and cuts to the texture of my hair. We made a game plan, and i’ll be back in three months to achieve long, thick beautiful hair again.

SAMANTHA IS THE BEST! I originally came to Sam with a horrid hair cut that was uneven and extremely messed up! She wasn’t only able to fix it but I now have incredible hot head extensions that I absolutely love! She is amazing with extensions, color, and cuts!!! I always enjoy going to get my hair done now! She is great company and does an amazing job!

This salon is the BEST!!!
I’ve been a few times but most recently had the pleasure of Tiffany being my colorist/​stylist.
Her work is impeccable.
She turned my ombré (with really dark roots) to the most beautiful creamy blonde with a full weave and cut. I couldn’t be more happy.
We had great conversation and the time flew by.
I have difficult hair and high expectations and she went above and beyond in every single way!!!
I have found my hair guru. Thanks for making my hair dreams come true Tiffany .

This was my first time at this Salon. I went to this place because of Unilocal reviews and the $ 25 off coupon. I was nervous because I haven’t got my hair done in 2 years. I had Eric and I told him what I wanted though I wasn’t exactly sure he took my words and worked with it. My hair was fried and he cut it cleanly for me, he did it slowly so it wasn’t as surprising of a change. He also added some highlights and ombré. It was very subtle but I liked it a lot. For how subtle it was I did find it a bit pricy, but that’s coming from someone who hasn’t gotten a haircut for a couple years.

This salon is very clean and spacious. The staff and customer service are great !
I come for Eric. He is AMAZING. He always leaves my hair in mint condition no matter what I do to it.
He is literally the sweetest. The way he shampoos my head is to die for .
There is not one time where I have walked out not satisfied with the service or the result of my hair.
Definitely coming back!

Found a groupon for a $ 17 and immediately booked an appointment. It says salon and fitness center but apparently that section is part of the salon. I was glad I was able to book a Saturday afternoon appointment with only 1 day notice. That was a plus. The receptionist was extremely professional and courteous. I really like people with good ”phone skills”.
I was running late and called the salon to tell I was running about 10 minutes late and they assured me I would be okay. Allison greeted me and started to wash my hair. I only gave her a brief description of what kind of blow-​out I wanted.
She finished quickly (about 30 minutes) and I was done. Because I have short hair, I asked for just a nice sleek blowout with a round brush. But when I walked out the door, It looked a little ”mushroom-​y”. She did spray it but I was still able to run my fingers through it. After a few hours I was much more pleased with the blowout. I’m hoping the blowout will last until tomorrow, but we’ll see.
UPDATE: my blowout lasted the next day and was happy that it was less ”mushroom-​y” looking.
I have 2 more groupons for a blowout so hope to use them again soon!

NATALIE NEWHOUSE!!! I have had many hairstylist and Natalie by far exceeds them all. She is so talented and personable. She actually listens when you try and explain the celebrity hairstyle of the week you want and somehow it turns out even better than what you imagined. She is fun to talk to and is always willing to go above and beyond to get the best results for your hair.
The salon is cute and relaxing, and everyone that works there is great and helpful! If I could give it more stars I would!
