Like Matthew A, I try to support local small businesses, and when I saw Kajun Kitchen open, and it being Lent(i.e. need some non-meat options), we gave it a try. First time, came just after the lunch hour, tables were empty, and the waiter was sitting with a friend. It took awhile for us to get noticed, but after that he was pretty attentive. Ordered a pound of shrimp and my date had the shrimp garlic noodles. For this experience it was good, and we wanted to give them another try the following Friday. Fast Forward, and I brought my sister and date. It was just a weird vibe, the menus had Cajun dishes, seafood by the pound, and French dishes(?). Odd but I can roll with that. We ordered, pound of crab legs, pound of shrimp, garlic noodles, chowder, and fried rice. It got odder, when we picked were picking the sauces and we ordered garlic butter. The waiter then told us that sauce was not good and we should go with the Asian sauce. My date order a cup of clam chowder and again the waiter said that was not good, she should go with the Seafood chowder. Who puts down their own Food? The waiter was using an iPad to take my order, and he seemed to be playing a game on it, because when he read it back, it was totally wrong. I ordered crab legs, and he asked if i wanted it with head or no head, what? Our food arrived and the crab legs were not yet cracked so i asked for a cracker, the waiter looked at me perplexed and brought me out pliers, and office scissors, what? The garlic noodles tasted like spahetti noodles with garlic dumped on it. Disappointing to say the least. The prices are good for some items, but some of the strange quirks, not sure if I will go back.

I ordered a crawfish and shrimp combo with Cajun sauce, and it was alright. And the crawfish were SMALL… Most likely won’t return to place. Sorry.

I got the shrimp po’ boy and it was pretty good. The fries were a bit salty, but they’re OK.

We drove by this restaurant and when I noticed they served Cajun shrimp we had to stop by for dinner. I ordered the medium spicy shrimp with side orders of potatoes and corn on the cob. I’m glad I only order the medium because that was hot enough. My wife also ordered the shrimp and she enjoyed it as much as I did. The restaurant was very clean and the décor was pretty interesting in a nice way. The person that waited on us was very helpful and described the many choices. When we paid I was surprised by the good deal in price versus what we ordered. We will definitely be back to try another dish.

Best place to get Poke! I have never tasted such fresh and flavorful fish. Try the salmon bagel for breakfast with a delicious cup of coffee or a poke bowl/fish sandwich for lunch, you won’t regret it! Thank you Albert and the rest of the team for providing excellent food and friendly service!

I really wanted to like this place being that I love supporting small business and restaurants but after 2 tries I have to say both times were not worth my money. First experience I had the Cajun shrimp and my girlfriend ordered the fish and chips. The shrimp was mooshy and the taste was average but the fish and chips were straight out of a frozen box, after 1 bite we did not touch them. I heard that they were now serving poke bowls and decided to try one today for lunch and after spending nearly 15 bucks on it, threw the whole thing out. The fish was certainly not fresh, had an unpleasant taste and even had some discolorations! Raw fish can get you sick if eaten this way and you would think a «seafood» restaurant would have higher standards. The service was also not great to begin with, but that has nothing with how I feel about how poor the quality of food was.

DELICIOUS and affordable. An easy, fantastic gourmet alternative to fast food for about the same price. Highly recommend it.

We came here for dinner close to 7pm and we’re surprised to find it empty. Turns out that even though it has been in business for nearly 2 months, they are having their Grand opening on 1⁄9. We got detailed recommendations from the owner or manager. Their Asian Cajun seasoning sauce is a winner. I had the shrimp by the pound: it was finger licking awesome sauce. I could have licked the bag it came in! The hubs had the Cajun crawfish and it’s good but you realize how much work it is for such little meat. The kids had the Po’boy with fish and they ate it quicker than I could get a pic or try it. I’m not a fan of sweet potato fries but after being offered a sample, we ordered it for the family as it was crunchy and the seasoning makes you a believer. The food and service was great, a win win. This location is very close and will be coming back for more. Hope it stays!

Tried this place a few weeks ago because the Italian place that was here before, suddenly disappeared… sads. Ordered the garlic noodles w/lobster, a fried rice and some calamari. Firstly, the staff is pretty nice but that’s about as far as nice goes. As we waited for our food, we kept hearing beeps of microwave… The calamari was thickly breaded and didn’t have much flavor. The Garlic noodles w/lobster was oily and all I tasted was garlic flavoring. The Lobster meat is not really lobster meat. Looks almost like a mixture of craw fish(if there’s even any) +(mostly) artificial crab meat. The fried rice just tasted bland and the rice itself tasted like minute rice, which was a major let down(how can you screw up fried rice…) never.going.back.

Decided to try this place out because I love Cajun seafood and it seemed like they had great customer service. The disappointment arose when I received my Cajun chowder, which typically is more of a tomato-based broth with a lot of flavor, and it was basic clam chowder with very minimal flavoring. I would suggest they change the name of the soup to something else, as it’s very misleading, and not good.

I tried their garlic noodles with lobster meat two days in a row. It was extremely tasty both times. The people working here are very friendly. The prices are reasonable.

Great taste!(Preferably better than Boiling Crab) they have lunch specials! Wasn’t a fan of their potatoe salad, tasted store bought. Thought it’d be homemade. Great customer service.(They recently opened a few weeks ago) lot of choices of sides with your shrimp! Looking forward to coming back for dinner sometime with my husband ;)
