I have been using these guys since 2005, from building award winning sema cars, to concourse Porsche’s these guys know plating and powdercoating. Their ability to sandblast on site and the amazing QC job they perform is above top notch. The prices are fair, they are old SALT ORIGINAL OC, and they are a family owned business. I dont know what else you want, these guys are the american dream in cigar smoke, chrome and powdercoat.

When dropping off parts always, ALWAYS go through Chris. He’s there early, from about 5am to 1pm. Pickups can be done later with other staff. I can’t compare OC to other plating companies but their end result looks amazing deep and rich when compared to most OEM I’ve seen. Their prep is thorough, but any unique details about your order need to be specified with Chris on drop-​off to ensure you get the exact result you expect. Prices are not low, but you’re paying for quality here.
The only small knock I could give the business is that they never quite deliver on a estimated deadline. BUT I never pushed them to meet a specific date because my project is long-​term, so my experience is not typical. I suspect, based on the large orders I see there, that they normally meet their target dates when it is important to the customer.
They also have a powdercoat division and I look forward to doing business with them at some future point.
