This is one of the nicest Starbucks I’ve been to. The staff is great! It’s in a beautiful historic bank in downtown Orange. My only criticism is that they don’t cary any breakfast sandwiches or panini’s. Great place to study!

Stephanie the am barista is honestly the nicest girl ever. Always friendly, bubbly, and welcoming. Starbucks baristas take a page off of her book on costumer service

Great place to pass by to grab a cup of Joe to stroll around the Circle after(Old Town Orange). However, parking is difficult. Weekends are crowded but the staff are really friendly. There are a simple amount of two seaters on the left side when entering, and a larger 6 person study table on the right side. They were stocked with plenty of snacks and such. We grabbed the last thai wrap. Plenty of stores to stroll down in the area.

There’s a freaking Starbucks in a gorgeous building. Okay, the building is not the most well-maintained historic property(it’s not in bad condition, it just could be better utilized), but it’s still an interesting concept. As an architecture preservationist student, I’d really like to see some better investment in the building. I’m definitely not a huge fan of Starbucks and would prefer to see a small business coffeeshop set up inside instead. The Starbucks is similar to every other godforsaken Starbucks(including the additional Starbucks that is literally right across the street). My coffee was okay. Not sure what else there is to review about it. Wifi was quick and there was plenty of seating on a Wednesday night. The building kind of smelled and the tables were a little dirty. The bathrooms were really clean, though!

This is one of two Starbucks locations in the Orange traffic circle. It’s the one on the northeast side, inside the Welds Fargo Bank building. Actually, it’s more like a pop up kiosk that occupies most of the lobby of the bank. The space is very unique, as is a historic building, and there is a lot of comfortable seating available. However, don’t go here if you want your drink out quickly. I was here one morning where there were only the people in front of me(two of them were already ordering at the registers), and it took me five minutes to place my order, and five more minutes after that to get my drink. Not horrible, I know some would say, but imaging how long the wait would have been had there actually been more of a line. Also, this place does not have an oven or microwave, so you can’t get any of the pastries heated up. In sum, a nice place to go for a coffee break if you’re feeling leisurely and taking an afternoon stroll in charming old town Orange. Not a good place to go if you’re stopping by in a rush for a morning coffee right before work.

An excerpt from my Food & Travel blog: We meet our tour guide, Italiana Linda Pero, and are provided with bottled water and Starbuck’s new cold brew iced coffee with a bit of sugar and cream. COLDBREW is in fact a process where they brew it with cold water vs. hot water which is designed to create a smoother iced java. It’s better than I thought. Truth-be-told, I’m a Peet’s guy but this is pretty nice tasting. The Starbuck’s is located in the Wells Fargo Bank and this buildings history goes back to 1886. The interior is amazing and a unique place to enjoy your java. Per Wikipedia, Old Towne, Orange Historic District, a one square-mile around the original plaza of Orange, California, contains many of the original structures built in the period after the City’s incorporation. It is a vibrant commercial district, containing Orange County’s oldest operating bank(currently the Wells Fargo Bank pictured below) and the oldest operating soda fountain(Watson’s). The Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997, and is the largest National Register District in California. The Old Towne Preservation Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to maintaining the district.

Starbucks located inside the Wells Fargo so the atmosphere feels a little bit fancy ;) lol love this location, there’s another Starbucks literally right across the street but I really like this location. It’s less crowded and it’s low on the noise level. There’s usually more college kids at the other location and it’s always crowded and a bit noisy, so if you want to avoid all that junk then come to this one :)

Love this Starbucks in the Wells Fargo. Dennise always has a smile and it seems like the Manager Rosie is tring super hard! If you have to choose between this Sbux and the one across the street this is the clear choice. When your in this historic building look up at the amazing ceiling!

LOVE this Starbucks… there is another beautiful Starbucks across plaza/circle…but this location gets my vote… Lots of those big, comfy leather chairs to sit and do my work… been coming for the last 6 months or so to work on family /personal business and I am usually here for 4 hours every Friday afternoon, never feel pushed or uncomfortable about hanging out… had a great conversation with two of the baristas this past Friday, very nice Chapman students… oh and the architecture is to die for!!!

This was a pretty interesting stabucks. We walked in and the Starbucks is shared with a Wells Fargo which was pretty cool. You can grab a cup of coffee while heading to bank. There was also a nice size seating area, where you could sit and relax if you are in the area browsing for antiques. Definelty a cool Starbucks, and friendly barristas.

Located on the edge of The Circle in Orange. You can see the small park that has been used in a lot of commercials and TV shows. Actually in the old lobby of the Wells Fargo bank. Dozens of Chapman Univ. students always hanging out.

I love this place. The staff are always greeting people as if they know them for years. The only observation I have is, most of the staff constantly change.

This is a very cool coffee shop right in the middle of a Wells Fargo bank. The building was an old bank building with an ornate 25 foot ceiling that has been converted into a shared space. The Starbucks occupies the front part of the space and the bank with tellers and bankers take up the rear of the space. The Starbucks looks and operates like free standing shops that I have seen in convention centers, airports or other large open spaces. It’s a self contained kiosk with seating around it.

I typically prefer this Starbucks, inside the bank, over the stand alone Starbucks in the Circle. The line is usually much shorter. This Starbucks has more of a studious vibe; most people are trying to get work done rather than socialize, but that’s not to say you can’t hang out with friends here… You may just want to be mindful and keep the volume down. Anyways, I know Starbucks baristas all use the same recipes, but I swear they always make my soy chai perfectly here. Some places skimp on the chai syrup, and it just ends up tasting like frothy soy milk. The baristas here make the drinks very well… or at least whenever I’m here on the weekends :)

I feel like I live here. I just had my 15th Frapuccino for the week. And I’m all jittery now. This is the only Starbucks that has good decore and is comfortable it was built in a old bank that is actually still a Wells Fargo band that looks like it’s been existence for 80 years. Really beautiful architecture and actually the Starbucks fits in here quite nicely This particular Starbucks is located near the circle in downtown Orange. It’s a particularly beautiful part of town that is straight out of the 1890. Lots of shopping in the area and nice restaurants and it’s just a very pleasant way to spend the afternoon. I Strongly recommend that if you’re in Orange go by the Starbucks/Wells Fargo Bank on the corner of the circle. Be careful not to go into the other Starbucks which is on the other corner of the circle if circles have corners that is

Went in around 5 minutes till 8pm last week… I had no idea they were about to close but I got in under the wire and to the obvious displeasure of the female barrista on duty… I wanna say her name is Ann I think… I had trouble deciding what I wanted so I ordered a seasonal latte… never once even hinting at cracking a welcoming smile or anything, «Ann» asked for my name and was about to write it on the cup when I decided I wanted another type of latte and she visibly ROLLEDHEREYES as she wrote the revised instructions on the cup… Now I was ticked… I had been so sweet when they told me it was almost closing time and I said«oh, Im sorry» and the other girl… cant think of her name said«its okay, just wanted to let you know»…but the one behind the counter was acting rudely… Got my drink and headed for the door but it had been locked. Both of female barristas were busy so I reached down to unlock the turnlock on the door and one of them YELLEDATME from behind the counter… literally yelled at me like I was a child… came over, undid the lock and I walked out completely pissed at this point and wanting to say something, but deciding I would just retaliate on Unilocal where it would go a lot further… I wanna say she must have been the manager… Wish I could remember her name… Brie? Shoot. I cant remember… but she was an unattractive toothy lookin’ thing, that’s for sure… The drink wasn’t good either… it was lacking the necessary mocha and heat to make it not taste like luke-warm coffee-milk…belchh… It’s a shame because I grew up in Orange, went to Yorba and Orange High, lived there most of my life and still frequent the Circle often but this particular staff which is employed at this location currently ruined my experience and by the other reviewers here on Unilocal it seems others agree that the service basically sucks… I am just gonna go to another, BETTER, FRIENDLIER specialty coffee retailer like CBATL or Peets or basically ANYTHING but Starbucks from now on… they’re not even the best quality coffee, so to have rude service on top of it reflects on the organization itself… they have lost my business… too many competitors that want my repeat business to screw with this chain any longer…

Short-n-Sweet: In a bank=limited hours; Gorgeous location, cozy/regular seating, no outdoor seating, offers pour-overs; a kids corner, quieter &less busy than other one«44 Pl Sq», and finally this one doesn’t have a microwave STORY-TIME: I can’t believe I never reviewed this awesome location! It’s a big deal for me to give anyone 5 stars too!(see my profile… i think I only have 3 places out of 80+ reviews that got 5 stars). This is inside the Wells Fargo Bank, and usually when people want to go to Starbucks in the circle, they venture over to the more prominent one near the cigar shop and the Cuban Latino food restaurant. BUTGIVETHISONE A SHOT! The manager(s) of this location has always done a fantastic job with the set up. One time they tried to do a mini-fireplace area, and now they understood that they would do much better having some individual cozy chairs and additional tables for those studious Chapman students looking for refuge from their friends as they try to study. AND I LOVETHEKIDSAREA! HOWTHOUGHTFULISTHAT! Sure there is a downside of lack of parking(that’s due to the city), no microwave(lack of space since it’s a bank), and limited hours. But in comparison to other Starbucks locations, they are really trying to do some different stuff with quality of the environment in mind! Congrats, a 5 stars well earned.

Cool ambience in this 86 year-old building(built in 1927… not 100 years old yet). I used to work here. I don’t even recognize the staff here anymore, with the exception of one or two. The manager, Amy, is highly abusive to her staff and has either directly fired or coerced individuals to transfer/quit. I would suggest avoiding this location until the management changes. You can see it in the baristas’ faces how miserable they truly are.

While not a real fan of Starbucks because the basic coffee is really awful, and requires an upgrade to something more expensive to be palatable, this particular location demonstrates what is possible with a little creative architecture and imaginative cross fertilization. This shop is shoehorned into an old Orange Circle bank building that also houses a Well Fargo branch. The Starbucks sits in the middle of the bank floor, while the teller windows are to the side. It all works well together with the neo-classical Greek granite and soaring ceilings, and the low village like feel of the Star$$$. There are plenty of chairs and tables for sippers, as well as a fair share of students using the free internet and bathrooms that are the mermaid’s signature features. Certainly worth a visit if you enjoy human ingenuity, and need a caffeine fix or a plumbing break.

I want to say this place is great for studying. So many tables, seats, and OUTLETS! I like that they open early, but don’t like that they close early. Only thing is. why Wells Fargo?
