Tacos Sinaloa is closed for good! RIP. Was a great place. Sorry to see it go. Now it is sushi and tacos!!!

Still a good place to go grab to some dinner or lunch, but it seems as though the owners might changed the food isn’t as good as it used to be. Still decent though.

I had an average trip to a family owned Mexican food joint per the request and recommendation of a friend of mine. So this trip was my recommendation back at my friend. To start the ladies that work their are always super friendly even if they are busy, and it can be a little confusing when you walk in but they handle everyone with great care. they do a lot of take out so there is a large menu up on the wall but if you choose to dine in you can just walk in and have a seat and someone will be with you shortly. They start off with chips and two different kinds of salsa one is a red salsa but watch out it is hotter then average. The other salsa that arrives at your table by default is a yellowish kinda greenish one almost has a texture of nacho cheese, this salsa is so flavorful and so good and very unique, trying this salsa alone is worth the trip. To make the salsa experience even better they have a salsa bar with 2 or 3 additional types of salsa. A salsa verde, some kind of fire roasted salsa and one other I cant remember. Now for the meal. my friend did the chillaqules and eggs with steak in order to make a side by side product comparison of the meal he had last weekend at a different place. The cost of the meal was the same as the place we visited the previous weekend but in the area of portion size, quality of ingredients, preparation, and flavor taco sinalo won a unanimous sweeping decision. I did the enchiladas and as usual I had a bunch of questions about the meal. my questions were all taken care of when the server told me any sauce and any filling you want we can make for you. I did green sauce with chicken. Sauce had a ton of flavor chicken was still moist(often times chicken in enchiladas is cooked to death) topped with the perfect amount of cheese. and I want to say(but don’t quote me) for approximately 8 bucks! cant beat that. They have Mexican beers and Mexican music here too, adds to the ambiance making it place you have to try.

The food here is always good when they get the order right. I want to give them a better rating but honestly every time I order food here, they get my order wrong. I don’t think my orders are ever that difficult either. I usually order the same thing and I come in frequently and somehow 9 out of 10 times my order isn’t made right.

If I could give this place minus five stars I would! Most disgusting food I’ve ever had. I don’t even know what the heck was in my food but I’m beginning to barf in my mouth thinking about it! Then the staff acted like they didn’t care. Ultimate no no! Their lucky I even paid and didn’t just walk out after the attitude I got. Oh ya, and I paid for food I didn’t even eat! Just the person I am. But they will never get money out of me again that’s for sure!

I went with my coworkers for lunch and we ordered tortas to find out they had hair inside them!!! We’re never eating here again! I definetly do not recommend to anyone!!! I would rather go to canvun juice down the street for their tortas.

Placed on the Tustin Avenue corridor of Mexican food, Tacos Sinaloa II blends in. They serve many types of tacos; I ordered one of each, approximately ten of them. Some were indistinguishable from the next. Underwhelming, although if this restaurant were located in Maine, I would think it’s the best in the world.

I ordered over $ 46.00 in food Togo for my wife and I for dinner and first off I was suppose to get a ton of flour tortillas with my order instead of corn, YUCK!!! Fail disappointment #1 got 4 corn tortillas Then I get my French fries and they taste like nasty rotten spoiled fish, COMEONCOOKSAREYOUSERIOUSTHATSDISGUSTING, First off change your fryer oil frequently #1AND # 2 use separate fryer for your seafood, As a chef and food service professional of 10 years that’s my pet peeve and probably others as well, HELLIMCFLY, people do have seafood allergies, TIMETORETRAINORSHIPOUT, That could contribute to a violation Other then that everything else was great, hot and fresh and packed with bold distinctive authentic flavor

This was our first visit to this restaurant. We were greeted and seated immediately. The server brought chips and salsa to our table right way. While waiting I viewed a telenovela on the television. I had the taquitos combo. It tasted freshly made. Very nicely presented. My husband had the taco and enchilada combo. He said it tasted great. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

This is one of my favorite places for Tacos in Orange County. And also one of the best anywhere that I’ve been to. It’s a bit bigger than a hole in the wall the likes of Alberto’s, but with more booths and atmosphere. They start by bringing you chips and two salsas, one being the regular tomato-based and the other, a spicy guacamole. Both are flavorful and excellent. I usually get five tacos, which is more than enough. Which is saying something, because a large burrito usually won’t slow me down. I always get their shrimp, chicken, and either the beef or pork. This time around, my first bite of pork was so tender, I was immediately salivating for more. All of their meats are cooked to perfection. The pork and chicken had a smoky flavor that went well with their mix of standard taco toppings, the sauces of which do not disappoint. Even their tortillas tasted fresh and were grilled just right. If I could, I would rate them 4.5 stars, a half a point off only because sometimes the service is slow. But what can you do… No one is perfect.

My go-to Mexican food I can walk to. I’ve only lived here for about a month and I found myself going here 4 times already. Every time I went I went and ordered the same thing. Shrimp burrito wet! Not sure if there’s different kinds. But I like it green, grilled, and full of that sinaloa flavor! I made the mistake of ordering it and not specifying. And the chick brought me out a shrimp burrito with rice and beans with red sauce :(I didn’t love it. They do cake on the cheese a little so if you don’t like it. Perhaps ask for no cheese The salsa bar is good and it seems to change every time. I look forward to trying all the other stuff on the menu. The staff is attentive, and service is very fast.

We have gone here several times but never would have gone if our son took us there. It is kind of sketchy looking, which I think is why it isn’t busier. It’s very good. The jalapeño salsa is amazing. I like spicy food but I can’t eat too much. I can’t stop eating this salsa. My wife and I went there yesterday. We had an appointment to go to afterwards and my wife was a little impatient. There were more occupied tables than I have ever seen before and service was a little slow. Our waitress was patient but pleasant. My wife kept saying that we shouldn’t go here anymore. I didn’t say anything. Then our tacos arrived, we both got the Tacos Al Pastor. After a couple of bites, she said, «Yes, we should keep coming here.» I’m in! Give it a try, you will like it.

Decided to try this place because it’s so close to home. The service was amazing and our server was really sweet. The food, though, was OK. Not bad… not amazing. When we sat down, we were given a basket of chips and two diff salsas. One red and one a light green. The red one was very mild. The light green one was very creamy and had a kick. Tasted a little weird. Like it was mixed with mayo? We asked the server what it was and she said it was jalapeño. Interesting. The chips had a slightly weird taste to it. They had a nice crunch, but just a little… different. My husband and I both got tacos with beans and rice. I got carne asada and carnitas. Both meats were pretty good. The carnitas was tender and juicy. The beans and rice weren’t bad. Overall, Ok. Not my favorite Mexican joint in the area.

This has to be up there with my favorite taco spots. The location of this place may look a little sketchy but don’t let that deter you from trying their food! Burritos: Fully loaded and full of flavor.(Kicks Chipotle’s butt any day) Tacos: Carnitas, Al Pastor are delish! They have an amazing salsa bar… All kinds of different salsas to satisfy your palette. Only reason I knocked off a star is because they are slow getting your order out. Waited 15 minutes for 1 burrito and 2 tacos…

This is officially my favorite Mexican restaurant of all time. I frequent TS2 a couple times a month(I’d go more often but the rate I’d be gaining weight would be disgusting!). Besides being absolutely delicious, you can get a huge meal for only $ 8. Yay! A MUST try– mix their jalapeño salsa with the guacamole salsa. Brings down the sting a bit! I call this concoction CRACKSAUCE. It’s sooooooo good. I’m usually not a chips and salsa person but I finish a basket of chips and their salsa before my meal even gets to the table. I’ve gotten the 7 seafood soup which is just amazing. Haven’t ordered this more than once since it’s been so hot but YUM if you’re a soup/seafood fan. Add in their seafood hot sauce and it’s heaven in a hand basket. I have a hard time getting away from their quesadillas. I order the carnitas and chicken al pastor on the regular. Their beans… so good. Topped with cotija. Alls you need. A reviewer mentioned that their water tastes weird – it’s definitely tap, so just ask for lemon/lime and it’ll all be washed away. I don’t even care where their water comes from, just gimme their food! =]

Yummy they were the tacos here. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmMMMMMMMMMmmmmm! *Riases*Eyebrows* Go back will I! Tacos you want, here go you must! This place honestly looks like a dump from the outside. I don’t think you would want to eat here based on appearances. I know I am often hesitant to eat some places that I go into but I suck it up and immerse myself into the latin flavor of some of these taco joints. This is one of those places. At least the waitress spoke English, so that really helped when I thought it was a Spanish only speaking type of place. Pro Tip: They take plastic except for AmEx! They have a number of choices for grub here and pictures above your head if you are not sure. They also cook your food to order in lieu of leaving it in a steam tray. I am all over that since its much better fresh in most cases. I ordered 3 tacos and all were above average and tasty. I got the pollo which was grilled fresh in front of me and was not shredded or sauced, just premarinated. Very enjoyable. The chorizo is what you expect from chorizo. It had the taste, color, consistency, and made my mouth and tummy happy! Very Nigh-Ice! Lastly I got the Al Pastor. This was missing the pineapple flavor, but it was not lacking flavor, I thought it was also tasty and enjoyable. Pro Tip #2: The tacos are normally $ 1.75 but on Taco Tuesday they are $ 1.25 each! With each order, they give you a small bag of chips. I think that they were fresh(but not sure if they were made at the restaurant, but I think so) and they were very lightly salted which is a nice feature. There was a whole tray of Salsa’s and other delectable delights to pluck into or onto your taco(s). The salsa’s all seem to have been made fresh and had varying levels of heat. All of the ones that I ate definitely were very flavorful! Overall I really like this place. Parking is in back. Too bad it is so far from my office, but one of these days I will be back!
