TOGO’S Sandwiches

I’m very dissapointed in this place. I use to come here a few times a week but now the prices are higher. Today I came and I got a half sandwich of lemon pepper tuna well you can’t even call it a sandwich it had just a slap of tuna with all this lettuce and tomato. I will not be comming here again. Over it!!!

After receiving poor service twice and from the same employee and then not getting a response back from mgmt. I’m over this location. The same employee had made the sandwich wrong both times and only the second time I caught it at the store because I literally had to watch her and say no I didn’t order that or this and finally she asked again what number sandwich I ordered. Sadly I would rather drive to a different location then deal with that mess again.

What happened to this place? I use to come here often when I worked close by. I stopped in today and the place was a mess, floor was filthy, trash overflowing, tables dirty, yuck. The women who helped me seem to have a hard time understanding English, and I found it very difficult to communicate with her, plus she seemed very disorganized, and it took her forever to make my sandwich, and to top it off she placed my food on a sopping wet tray, really? I seriously doubt if I’ll go back to this place.

Hubby and I came down here for a doctor’s appointment. Togo’s was the only place that looked ‘familiar’. We had the best pastrami sandwiches! The kids working behind the counter were courteous and helpful. When we came at a later date for his surgery at St. Joseph’s, we ate there again. We were treated with kindness and great service. Again, the pastrami is great! On the day of his surgery, I walked there alone. I had the broccoli cheese soup and half a turkey sandwich. Again, great service and nice people working there. Clean too!

this is my favorite Togo’s. They always get everything right :)

Roommates and I ordered our sandwiches online at 8:00 to be ready by 8:30. Got there at 8:30 and when we asked for our orders one employee checked the printer and said we will start those right now. What’s so convienant about taking 10 minutes to order online and waiting another 20 minutes (20 minutes for three sandwiches!)??? There were only two employees to take care of both Togos and Baskin Robbins. One employee was the manager who made all of the sandwiches and has helped me before. The other guy went to the other counter instead of helping with our order which didn’t help us at all. If you’re going to cut back on staff at least have two capable employees. Wont be going back to this location.

I was having a meeting and needed to feed the crews. I ordered 5 trays of various sandwiches off the catering menu. Everything was packed wonderfully. They provided everything. It was ready when we went to pick it up and it tasted fresh and delicious. I even added a veggie sandwich on the order last minute and they were very accommodating. Everyone was very pleased! A few days after my meeting, I received a very nice email from Jenna Powers, Community Marketing Coordinator, thanking me for the business. I thought this was a nice touch… but to top it off… she stopped into the office today to introduce herself personally! She brought a wonderful boxed lunch (which I shared with my co-​workers) just out of the blue with a lovely note on it that simply said «Happy Thursday!»
I would definitely recommend ordering for a big group. They really took care of me and I will use them again in the future!

Inside was clean. Ordered the club house, 9″. Sandwich was overloaded with lettuce. Some of the tomatoes were fine, but one was under ripe, which was gross to bite into. The bacon was also burnt, dry, and tasted old. I’m rating the sandwich 2 out of 5. Concerning the staff some previous reviews said staff was rude. Both workers that I interacted with were fine, but I am use to a more welcoming attitude than was there today.

I used to like going to this location until today. The staff was very rude, looked and acted annoyed. Message to staff: if you don’t like to work with people, go find a different place to work at. I ordered a Tuna sandwich and when I got home, I unwrapped a cheese and ham sandwich. Ummmm tuna does not sound like ham.

So I am literally sitting in the parking lot of this location (which i frequent almost once a week) and just had the worst experience. Management needs to look at who they are hiring! I came in half an hour before closing and was told that they «didn’t have any open olives» so I couldn’t get them on my sandwich because they didnt want to open a new one. Employee Alicia was extremely rude and disrespectful to me and when I asked why they wouldn’t open more since they were not closed yet, she just gave me attitude and told me it «wasn’t her problem». I’ve been in customer service for 10+ years (some of which was in the food industry) and I would NEVER treat a customer in this way. I will absolutely NEVER come to this location again! Pathetic and awful service! Would rate them 0 stars if I could!

I ordered a tuna w/​mayo cheese & tomato and a mini cheese sandwich that I asked for all the veggies on. I got home to discover no veggies on the mini. I drove back over and got them. When I got home, the person who ordered the tuna was mad because there were no tomatoes. I will drive out of my way to go to a different Togos.

Pastrami wins my heart every time. Staff competence has been getting worse though, unfortunately. Still, 4 for pastrami.

I liked this TOGO’s, been coming hear for the last year. But recently stopped.
The last few months, they hired some new people. And they are horrible. Every time I came they always messed up my order. I tried to be understanding, cause we’ve all been new at some point or another. But I always get the same thing The Santa Fe Chicken Salad. And they always forgot something.
I normally check my food, but this one time and last time one my lunch, not only did they forget my fork they forgot my salad dressing and everything but the chicken.
The only plus side, is that the share their store with a Baskin-​Robbins.

I came here, because Hollingshead was open but not serving sandwiches…
My memory was correct– this place is costly

This place gets busy at lunchtime during the week: its near many office buildings and 2 hospitals. The staff (some of the staff) are nice and try to fill your order promptly. Having a Baskin-​Robbins inside is a nice touch too!
This location has indoor and outdoor seating areas.

There is definitely nothing overwhelming about a Togo’s. Other than an ice cream shop sharing the same location, that is about the only wow factor… WOW.
Sandwiches are ok however there seems to be a cost for the add on items such as cheese. Not a big deal but a slight annoyance.
Service at this location isn’t the best or perhaps they are just hard of hearing. If that is the case… my apologies. I had to repeat each step of my order multiple times. Another annoyance.
Maybe the problem is me… not them. In that case it is wonderful. Ok, shouldn’t get carried away… it’s ok at best.

I think it’s about time I write a review for this particular location. I’ve been either eating here or catering with them over 3 years and I have only had the BEST services with the staffs and the husband & wife owners. Gina and Steve are literally so professional, nice, fast and patient. They will work with you honestly until you are happy with your catering or order. Today I’m reviewing about their catering services. I had a big department meeting of 60+ people and since I’ve used them many many times in the past for catering I thought sammies would be perfect for today’s event.
Called them up, Steve answered and helped me with my order. Btw… they know people on a 1^st name basis here. Love that. Steve recommended what I should order for the size of people I had. It was easy, fast and he even told me I had too much food. Now people… where can you find such genuine people that will honestly say, cut back, don’t need to spend so much on your order! Right? Probably a few other places but I don’t run into many at all! Anyhow… we were finished ordering and it was super easy! They really should have the Staples’s «That Was Easy» button so people can push on it everytime we deal with them.
Now, catering is sometimes weird, you see beautiful pix of the foods and stuff but when it actually arrives, it doesn’t really look JUST like their pix. Well, whatever you order with them, comes looking if not BETTER than the pix. They really do pride themselves on PRESENTATION. They will supply you with everything you need, without even asking if you need it. Example like thongs, serving spoons/​forks, plates, napkins… ALL!

— This salad is also one that goes the longest way… people don’t need much becuz it’s full of flavors. You’ll def feed more than 30 people for sure

— These babies are big in size so they even asked if I wanted to have them cut up in halves to feed more mouths… this way I didn’t have to order exactly for 60+ people.
Again…everyone loved their food, the quality, the freshness and the taste. I don’t know about you but for the same amount of money for the other competitors… you will NOT get the kind of AWESOME service that Gina & Steve’s teams will deliver.
BTW…they even deilver, how EASY is that! Thanks Gina & Steve for always making our events/​orders a GREAT HIT! I’ll be calling you soon. It was great to see you again Gina! You ROCK!

ToGo’s is a special kind of place because like In-​N-​Out you only find it in abundance in California. On a recent visit from some Las Vegasans (eh?) they had a hankering for their tasty toasted sandwiches.
This location was small, but clean and located near the freeway which made it easy to find on a stay near Disneyland. The service was average and so was the speed. About 5 minutes for two sandwiches when we were the only customers.
You pay about a dollar per inch, so when you talk about food that’s pretty decent.

Nothing particularly special about Togos. Some days I get a craving for an expensive sandwich and this is where I will go. Always quick and easy. Definitely nothing to write home about though.
There is a lot of seating at this location. But not a lot of parking is usually available in the small lot, since there are at least 6 other choices to eat at.
