Jon Jenson, DDS – Cascade Endodontics

I’ve known Dr. Jenson professionally for a few years. I have always been impressed with the reviews his patients have left for him and his team, especially when they say their root canals were quick, easy, and pain-​free. And his website talks about the technology they use including a 3D CT scanner. So I decided that if I ever needed a root canal, it would be worth the trip from Denver, CO to Orem, UT to have Dr. Jenson take care of it.
Well, my wife’s dentist told her that her molar needed a root canal. She didn’t get one right away and after weeks of chewing on the other side of her mouth, the pain went away. A few months ago, she returned to the dentist and he again told her the tooth was a ticking time bomb and she should get the root canal while she felt good rather than waiting until it was an emergency situation. Her dentist recommended a local endodontist in Denver. Thankfully, we already had a trip to Salt Lake City planned for the end of January so I called Dr. Jenson’s office and set up an appointment for a second opinion.
We arrived on a very snowy Monday morning and when we entered the office the staff and even other patients were very friendly. Though everything was quick and efficient, we didn’t feel rushed at all. We even got a tour of the office!
Dr. Jenson talked through what he was doing and what he was seeing. As he discussed his findings and showed us the 3D scan results, he seemed almost as excited as my wife was that a root canal wasn’t needed.
It was a great visit and it strengthened my resolve to travel to Orem to go to Cascade Endodontics should anyone in my family need a root canal.

Dr. Jensen and his team are root canal specialists. I was referred here by my regular dentist because I had a particular tricky root canal operation that had to be done.
I had never gotten a root canal done before, so I didn’t know what to expect — but Dr. Jensen was really good about walking me through every detail so I knew exactly what was going on. You can tell he actually cares aboubt his patients. I’ve heard horror stories about root canals, but Dr. Jensen did a super good job. Any time I felt pain, he numbed me more and the operation was virtually painless.
Although everything went better then I expected, the thing that impressed me most was when I receieved a call from Dr. Jensen at 9.30 at night (after office hours im sure), just checking in to make sure everything was okay and that I wasn’t feeling pain or didnt have any questions. That was above and beyond.
If I ever need any more root canals, this is where Im going back to.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Jenson and his team of fantastic assistants. He has completed 2 root canals for me. The first was an emergency when my regular dentist couldn’t get me in (I believe it was the Friday after Thanksgiving) and I was suddenly suffering tremendous pain. Dr. Jenson came in just. for. me. That meant a lot to me especially when I was not an existing client. It’s a good thing for me that he did because I ended up having a terrible infection that was causing my jaw bone to deteriorate. He was gracious, caring and exceptionally skilled. He took the time to explain my options and made me comfortable.
Fast forward a year, when I started experiencing some pain in a different tooth-​there was no question who I would see. And this morning, he and his staff did not disappoint! I absolutely LOVE Dr. Jenson and his team.
One last thing:
He is INCREDIBLE at giving shots! Seriously, CRAZY! He’s like a wizard.

My wife’s experience was fantastic! She had some anxiety going into it but was pleasantly surprised how well it went. Dr Jenson’s calming presence put her at ease right away. The procedure was painless and the environment was uplifting. I would definitely recommend anyone to go see Dr Jenson!!!
