Sandbox Schools of Early Care & Education

Sandbox is absolutely wonderful. My two year old daughter goes here for preschool (we were recommended to do a 2 day preschool by early intervention to help with her speech). The director, Miss Georgine, is the two year old preschool teacher and she’s a wonderful, kind, grandmotherly lady. At this Sandbox they really seem to care about each child and treat them as an individual. Another two year old preschool we looked at (Bobby Noonan) had more of an attitude of «She’ll fit into our program» (an exact quote) rather than to fit the program around the child like they do at Sandbox. When I first visited the director sat down with me and listened to my concerns and desires for a preschool for my daughter (primarily to help with talking) and said how they were happy to help work with them.
I’ve seen great advances in her speech since starting Sandbox six months ago, and I really love the teachers and the environment– it’s very homey rather than the institutional or «daycare» type feel that many preschools have. She loves going and I think it’s helped her to be a little more independent as well.
