Get the chicken! Good fast food overall. I always leave stuffed. Oh, btw, the hot sauce stuff adds to the flavor!

I really enjoy this venue. This food is freshly cooked while you wait so it not sitting collecting grease like some other places. A nice warm meal in the tummy is yummy. The variety is good. I’ve tried a few different items and have always been happy. It’s not gourmet but for«mall» food it’s good! Teriyaki is my family’s favorite & is always on special. I eat there 95% of time I’m at a mall. They give free samples if you’re not sure if you’ll like the teriyaki.

Pretty good food for a «fast food» kinda place. Their ramen soup is pretty good. Haven’t tried any of the sushi but I also here it’s good. It looks like a place that can be located at a mall as far as the décor is concerned but I’m not really there to feel like I’m in japan. There is no table service. You order and pick up your food. Not much of a dining place but food is definitely worth the price.

This is the best fast food sushi place!!! Before I went here, I thought Asia Palace was good, but then after eating here, it doesn’t compare to Asia Palace!!! The last time I was in the area, I saw that the sign was changing and I hope it is not going out of business!!!

I love this place!!! They teriyaki chicken is amazing, I get it all the time with stream veggies and the fried rice and noodles. Its more then enough food and sometimes I cannot finish my plate but then I get greedy and I try my best and leave that place with an extra full tummy. The service is great and friendly… will be back soon

I loved this place when I worked in the mall, and I love it even more now that they have it in its own location. Also, it reminds us of Teriyaki Madness in Vegas which is great food at a great price, but no locations in Chicago. We likey.

Delicious! The food here is really tasty, true teriyaki, and the sushi is just as delicious. I’m liking that it’s so affordable too! And they’ve got nostalgic cute asian sodas. What I recommend is getting the Chicken Teriyaki Combo w/Sushi, I think it’s called the Bento. It has everything together at a price you can’t beat! They’re really improving!

Whenever I’m craving some sushi and don’t have a lot of time or money… I hit Sarku Japan! Yes, it is the«fast food» of sushi… but it’s tasty and you get a lot for your money. I always look forward to the tempura veggies… HUGE pieces covered in that light batter, never greasy tasting. The Deluxe Bento box is enough food for 2 modest eaters. Never had a problem with the service, just go up to the counter, order, and wait. No frills, satisfying. Love Sarku when I’m on the go in Orland!

We went there for Sunday dinner. The place was ok. Food was not the best. I ordered a chicken teriyaki but the cashier charged me for a shrimp, which is a dollar more. When my fiancé asked her about that cashier said the button for chicken teriyaki dint work but charged us the price for shrimp. We were hungry and in a hurry so dint argue… So be careful… This might be a onetime deal… Hope they fix it.

Earlier today, my husband & I were craving sushi and decided to stop in here. Big mistake. An even bigger mistake was actually ordering. The kid at the counter was positively clueless about what was being prepared & sold in this place. I asked what type of noodles came in the bento box and he simply pointed to a picture on the wall over his head. I ordered a regular bento box w/shrimp and some edamame. My husband ordered some sort of roll and an order of veggie tempura. One word sums up everything: HORRID. Noodles were overcooked. Shrimp was beyond overcooked. Edamame tasted as though it boiled too long and then they sprinkled SEASONEDSALT on them. yes… uh… I’m pretty sure that was Lawry’s sprinkled on top. Hmmph. As much as love a good bento, this one left LOTS to be desired. Oh! Did I mention the salad?! Yeah. it was one of those Dole bagged salads with the little carrot slivers. Horrid.

Came here on a Thursday night after a day spent in Lake Geneva. We were hungry and wanted a quick bite to eat along the way home. We stopped here since we saw it on the way and the sign said it was open until 10pm. We got there at 9:30pm. I like this place in the mall, so I thought it’d be a semi healthy dinner. One of the workers was already starting to mop the floors when we walked in. Service at this place… not so good. We had to wait a bit at the register when the cook came to take our order. As he was about to ring it up, the girl came back and started to take our order. She then asked if we were taking this order to go or eating there. When we said we wanted to eat there, she rolled her eyes a bit, looked at her watch and reminded us that the place closes at 10, which was in 30 mins. I was a bit annoyed at this comment that she made because we still had 30 mins to eat. There was also another couple behind us ordering food to dine in also. not sure if she made the same comment to them, but I thought that was really rude to say to a customer. The food was prepared and very good, just like how it tastes in the mall. The price is very reasonable for the amount that you get. We ordered California rolls and 2 chicken teriyaki bowls with vegetables. As we were eating, the same girl kept looking at us and then looking down at he watch(it still WASNOT10pm yet, btw). Instead of helping the owners clean up, she was just standing there behind the cash register playing on her phone. It made me feel as if she didn’t even appreciate having a job. Then as soon as 10pm hit, she got antsy and I think the owner told her that she could leave. We were done eating around that time and the owner still came out and told us to take our time eating because they would be there for awhile cleaning the kitchen and it was NOBIGDEAL. I was almost going to give this place a 2 star because of the one worker because service is very important to me. I used to work as a waitress, so I know how it is to work in the food industry. I just felt that the food was good and they shouldn’t get dinged because of 1 lazy worker.
