Looking for mexican open at 8 am was difficult but wow we found a place in Orland right off the freeway. We are Huevos Rancheros aficionados and these were great. Can’t speak for lunch but the eggs hit the spot.

The food is so so to pretty good, but the prices are way to high for the quality and quantity. Just a little burrito 7 bucks, a bean and cheese 5 and the food is either really bland or so hot you can’t enjoy the seasoning in the food if there is any. anyways good luck to them, seams like nice people running the place. If they are going to serve home style food, they need to have all the fixings like dinning table at home, a salsa bar, cilantro, onion, oregano, lime, pico de gallo and a choice of salsas (Pollo Loco style right) from la I love good mexican food!

I love their burritos for take out – especially the breakfast burrito. But a couple times when we came for dinner there was no one actually cooking… they were re heating stuff. I decided to give them another chance and lately it’s been excellent. That being said, I’m not sure I would trust dinner again. Nice staff always.
Update: had taco salad tonight around 7.30. Reheated :(. Fried tortilla bowl was dry, tough, tasteless. Beans no flavor. The microwave dinging bell was going off every couple minutes. Taking away one star.

Randomly found this place while in town for the weekend. The food was awesome and the service was great. It’s a family owned business and we knew it would be good when we asked the waiter if the guacamole was good and he told us it yes but it really depended how good on the avocados his uncle got that morning. Definitely would go back!

I wish I could give zero stars. Anyways we bought a chicken burrito from there and brought it home, when she cut the burrito open it literally smelled like S**T worse then S**T actually if was just disgusting so we ended up throwing it away. On top that the food is pricey for the low quality that you are getting. I would never recommended this place to anyone so dont even bother going there not even for ice

Gross. The place was totally bad. The chips and salsa were stale and nothing they have is fresh. Regardless of what you order, all menu items are heated up in a microwave. Also, when we ordered a Large guacamole, it came in a 3″ wide x 1″ high bowl. Regardless it was also bad. The food was has no taste what so ever, and is far from fresh or gourmet, as they advertise !!! I hope they turn this place around very quickly.

Exceptional! Anytime I am traveling through town I am going back with friends! I am a very critical eater with a lot of special requests and they got every request perfect. Keep an eye out for:
Carnitas — wicked good!
Special hot salsa — you might have to request it
Jose’s art — the owner’s uncle has his art displayed throughout the restaurant. Fantastic style– someone should connect this gentleman with a muralist — he’s born to do murals!
