The host gave away our reservation after we were seven minutes late. That originally made me gave thins place a one star review. The host is awful. I ordered steak and shrimp for dinner. Both were overlooked, but at least it tasted okay. Not from Florida, but I probably wouldn’t come back here even if I was.

TL;DR: Terrible host. Clumsy server. Quiet chef. Good value for your money, but you’re not going to get a very memorable dining experience. Had high hopes for this place upon arrival, but was quickly let down the moment I walked in. I’ll start off with the host. As a person who has worked in the restaurant industry for over 3 years — as both a hostess AND a server — I know that it’s customary for restaurants to have a 15 minute courtesy period for those who are late to their reservations. Our reservation was at 7:45, and we walked in at 7:52. The restaurant isn’t even busy and our wait time is 20 minutes. Host didn’t even seem sorry, or make an effort to try to find us a table. As we arrived at our table, our server was okay. Miscounted the number of plates that our table needed, so a member of our party was short some food and sauce towards the beginning. Upon realizing her mistake, she quickly replaced the materials, but it seemed a little ridiculous that she forgot the same person two times in a row. Our chef was also alright. Didn’t talk much… just did the typical hibachi volcano and threw in maybe one or two jokes in the beginning. Other than that, our meal was silent. The most entertaining part of the meal was probably the end… when he was cleaning up the stove. The food is the only reason why I’m giving them 2 stars instead of 1. HUGE portions. Enough to take home for the next day! Tastes pretty alright as well. Asked for medium rare steak and received it a little over done, but that’s okay. Finally, at the end… the host from the beginning proceeded to ask each member from the table if they had a groupon… EXCEPTUS. Our server realized this and came to grab our coupon. When we got it, we saw that they already added gratuity even though we were only a party of two. Needless to say, I was infuriated. Ridiculous that they have this rule for groupons. Probably played a huge role in their service tonight. OVERALL, if you’re hungry and only looking for a good bite to eat, this could be your place. Good value for what you pay for, but the service is terrible, and the experience isn’t really that memorable. Will not be back.

We got here thanks to a Travelzoo and it was not a disappointment. The quality of the food was really good and the service too. We tried the hibachi with steak, shrimp, and chicken and all was really good and the steak was eatable unlike some like places that I’ve been. I will go again to try their sushi.

Probably the best sushi I’ve ever had. Fresh, creative and delicious. All the presentations were amazing. Now I can see why they were voted best sushi restaurant by Orlando Business Journal’s Readers’ Choice Awards. Service was good, the food was great and cannot wait to come back and try the all you can eat sushi. great experience.

It took 10 minutes to be seated in the empty restaurant. 10 – 15 min to get our drink order. 20 min to get the soup and salad. We asked for no onion in our meal. We should have specified. The waitress brought us a miso soup and I quote«I thought you’d like this better». Um. No? We didn’t ask for miso soup. Me and my gf tasted the soup — absolutely disgusting. She came back and noticed we didn’t touch our soup and offered their regular broth. The salad was frozen lettuce so it was very very watery. I asked the waitress how much longer before we could order? 30 – 35 min later the chef comes out to cook. The food was bland at best. He overcooked the vegetables. The white sauce is the worst I have ever had. Extremely watered down and tastes like straight mayo. Nothing had any flavor. The steak is extremely low quality beef and thus chewy. We waited an additional 30 – 40 minutes for the check. The waitress never came back after she brought the soup and salad. Never got more sauce. My gf was fed up and went to the front to find the manager. He brought us and the other people at our table the checks. We conversed with the table next to us. They had been there forever and not even gotten a soup or salad. The two giant parties in the other room told my gf no one had even come to get their drink order. We waited another 10 minutes or so before leaving to the front with the other guests to pay — as it seemed no one would be coming to get our credit card. The manager didn’t discount or comp anything. We left a big fat 0 $ tip — and we will be watching the credit card account to make sure they don’t add one like I read some people had happen to them! the restaurant is dirty and run down. Our hot flat top was broken. The rim wasn’t on and fell off as the chef cooked. Save ur time and go to kobe’s. They are by far the best.

Wow, the sushi was so fresh and delicious. My friends and I went out over the weekend and had the best sushi ever. After hearing they won the Orlando Sentinel Foodie Awards for best sushi restaurant in Orlando, we had to try it. So many options, but with the $ 19.95 all you can eat, we got to try so many different types of sushi, sashimi and other items from the hibachi menu. I see why A-Aki Sushi won the best sushi in Orlando because it really was awesome! Our server was great and we really enjoyed the food. Must come back and try other things soon.

The worst service ever, they make me wait 1 hour when my reservation was at 9pm, and the manager don’t show up interest at all.

Have you ever went to a sushi place and been disappointed by the exciting description you read on the menu only to reach the darkest depths of disappointment when what you received was a minuscule and boring portion? Well I assure you, it’s the exact OPPOSITE here. This place was awesome. The rolls were the biggest and most lavish perhaps I’ve ever seen at a sushi place, and for super reasonable prices too. You can create your own roll or try an all you can eat menu, but you won’t need to because they are really creative with the rolls. And then you’ve got entertaining Hibachi chefs making all kinds of barely understandable jokes and making the place roar with laughter. An added bonus if you like tempura: I had more on my roll than I have had in what felt like my whole life. There was literally a mountain of it covering the middle of the plate, with a nice little light inside to go with the place’s trendy décor. I had a little difficulty communicating with the waitress but really I didn’t give a damn because I was overdosed on tempura(and maybe a Long Island okay) I came back the next night too.

I saw an ad for this place in a coupon book advertising there all you can eat. We decided to check it out because we love sushi and we were not dissapointed. The staff was friendly and courteous and quick to get us our drinks and take our first order. The food was incredibly fresh and came quickly. The place was quite but we had arrived early for dinner at about 445. As we were leaving a few family’s showed up for hibachi. I would definitely go back and take friends !

Never again! I went for lunch today and asked to make sure that neither of the rolls I was ordering had spicy mayo on them. The waiter assured me they did not, so I ordered them. He came back with one of the rolls having«regular mayo» all over it. I apologized and told him I meant no mayo at all and asked to return it. He got mad and argued that they could not make that specific roll with no mayo(even though mayo was not listed as an ingredient). Still not sure why since it was on top. Waiter stayed mad and did not say one word to me for the rest of the meal. He even left the returned roll on the check. Most rudely I have been treated at a restaurant in a long time.

I started off optimistic as I’ve been here before(about a year ago) and it was a place brimming with potential. However everything from a flooded hibachi to a fire alarm that told everyone to leave until the authorities arrive(and was promptly ignored) and crashed computers made me strongly question the ethics to stay open and provide lackluster service when there were several safety concerns at hand. If we were to ignore the aforementioned situations, which I hope are atypical, sushi is inconsistent in quality – you can enjoy high quality salmon and mackerel for a good price(a steal if you’re into all you can eat sushi which runs at $ 19.95 a person) or have some oversized but bland spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls. And service is practically non existent beyond taking your plates to you and giving you the bill, I would have felt more comfortable serving myself with how standoffish our server was. And while I am an advocate for chances to let places grow on you, after some potentially rancid crab to go with my experiences, please avoid this place for a while, I know I will.

My fiancé and I dined in on my birthday. Our meal was delicious; i had steak & shrimp, noodles, rice, veggies for $ 22. Their white sauce is ok. It’s a little watery. Our experience with the cook & server was great. They didn’t have name tags. Anyway, I will definitely come back to try new portions.

Worst experience at a restaurant ever. This is my first 1 star review. We were really wanting to like this place, and it’s all you can eat sushi menu. We arrived on a Friday around 7:45 pm. It was not very crowded when we got there. The hostess sat us right away, but with a very uninterested look in her face. We sat at our table, and after 5 minutes we realized that no one came to talk to us or take our drink order. About 3 minutes later I went to ask the hostess about it, and she was no longer at her post. I then asked a server as he walked by, «Is no one here wanting to take our order?» He looked at me, and continued on into the next area of the building. After that, we had to get up and leave. If we have to wait for almost 10 minutes to put in a drink order, or even meet our server, I could only imagine how long it would take to get each order of sushi brought to the table. I would hope that we were just a random occurrence, but after reading a lot of reviews, on multiple sites, I see that we are not alone.

Yesterday, I discovered my new favorite Asian Restaurant in Orlando! If you want to impress but doesn’t want to spend a lot, visit this place! $ 19.99 All you can eat served at your table for: Appetizers: Shrimp tempura, Krab tempura, Miso. soup, Krab raggoon, etc. Sushi: Dragon, Tempura, California, Eel, etc. Desserts: Fried Cheesecake, Fried Banana, Green tea ice cream, Vanilla ice cream. Everything was delicious! Only suggestion is that the Duck Roll sushi does not go well with the avocado. Next time I will order without avocado. Clean, Modern décor, Delicious Sushi… can’t beat. that!

We were greeted by the host immediately and seated right after. It was about 2:30 and lunch specials end at 3pm. I ordered the Mad Max roll. It has spicy tuna inside between 2 layers of rice topped with salmon and tuna drizzled with spicy mayo and tobiko. It doesn’t have the seaweed wrapper like traditional sushi. It was yummy and filled me up. I also got the Spicy Scallop sushi 2 piece(sometimes called Special Scallop at other places). It is the most amazing thing when the scallops are fresh and raw mixed with mayo and tobiko(see picture), topped on rice and wrapped in seaweed. Mmm, I think I can eat a whole bowl of just the spicy scallop mix. I’m so happy my husband introduced me to it(a long long time ago). For my son, I got him the gyoza appetizer which is just the perfect amount for him during lunch. My daughter eats and loves Salmon sashimi and got a soup, also. My sister was with me and shared her sashimi lunch special. I had a few pieces and the fish was fresh and good. It also came with a soup and salad. The restaurant is a beautifully decorated huge space. You can tell A LOT of money was spent furnishing inside and outside. If you are by the Florida mall, you should try it out.

The happy hour prices for hibachi were unbeatable. I received 3 meats, chicken steak and shrimp. I opted for the $ 5 extra to upgrade my steak to filet mingon and it was quite tasty. This is one of the better hibachi places in orlando that I’ve been to and I would definitely come back again.

This is a beautiful sushi restaurant. The bento boxes are a good deal. The Lunch specials are awesome. The variety of rolls are great. I love the Flaming Salmon Roll. The Baby Octopus appetizer is delicious, too. One complaint I have is that a couple of the servers have a language barrier. That is a major problem when you ask for one thing and they charge you for something else. When I’m on my lunch break, I don’t have time to dispute it.

It was good food, I ordered the coconut walnut shrimp box which is really delicious and not expensive it’s a daily lunch special for only $ 7.95. The shrimp coconut walnut is sweet taste like they put a sweet condensed milk on it. The box comes with a fried rice or white rice, California roll, crab rangoon, miso soup and salad.
