Ok, reason I gave this place a 4 because I haven’t been to other Orthos, so a 5 would be biased. This was recommended to my by a friend. But so far my experience with All About Smiles has been great, Dr. Mendez is really friendly and down-​to-​earth. I believe she received her degree from Harvard University which was very impressive when I saw it!
YES, I AM ONE OF THESE ADULTS WITH BRACES, and I have my every 6-​week check-​up so I’m a regular at this place, these girls at All About Smiles make my visits very pleasant, I’ve also had some emergencies such as wire broke off few times because I am a big adult and I can eat anything I WANT! They were very responsive and were always there to accommodated me.
I’d recommend All About Smiles to others that need braces due to my own experiences.
If you’re an adult thinking about getting braces, I’d say go for it! Do something nice for yourself that will last lifetime, if your only concern is being embarrassed as an adult with braces, don’t be! It never bothered me and I’m really glad I made the decision of doing this. (of course I’m not gonna go around and open my mouth wide to show everyone all these different colored bands in my mouth).
