Ok food. Bad service from beginning to end. Way overpriced. Avoid this tourist trap.

Ok so first off I have to say Thomas the bartender is amazing! And if I took the advise of the worst bartender in the world with no personality(her name is kristi the blonde one with no personality and no graditude) I would of asked him for his business card because I would of stole him and hired him at me bar! She was the worst ever she really put a bad taste in my mouth. We always come here when we are in town for your awesome food and drinks but this time was a one star!

Ordered their guacamole. It was pretty good. They make it right in front of you and ask how spicy you want it! Nice! Sat at the bar cause the wait for the seating was going to be long. Drinks were ok. Will probably check it out the next time around.

We had a great experience at Antojitos! FOODANDDRINK: Overall, really good! Best Mexican we’ve had in a long time in Orlando. Chips and Salsa — the chips were a little thicker than most places, a little greasy and could’ve been warmer… but the flavor was fine and they did not break apart in the salsa or the guacamole Tableside guacamole — a cool presentation where they wheel a dedicated cart out to your table and all the ingredients are mixed to your liking. At $ 14, it’s a little pricey but we enjoyed it. Margaritas — We had the Antoritas and they were very tasty. Not too weak, not too strong. Tasted fresh with lots of flavor. Entrée — we got the Combination fajitas for two. The steak was incredibly tender… melted in your mouth. The chicken was nicely seasoned. Toppings were adequate to generous, not skimpy. SERVICE: The host who seated us explained all about the place — how it used to be The Latin Quarter, etc. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Described everything on the menu that we had questions about. The food came out quickly too. This was around 7 on a Saturday night. We were in a bit of a hurry because we had tickets to a concert at CityWalk so the speed of service was perfect. ATMOSPHERE: Very nice. We were seated upstairs and it was quiet. Our table overlooked the mariachi stage — so we were able to enjoy their performance(although it was pretty brief). PRICE: A little expensive — but A) you expect that at CityWalk… and B) the quality of the food and drinks was outstanding. I’ve been to other Mexican places(Colibri) where the price is high and the food quality is poor. Overall, we’d definitely return! Not all the time, as it’s a bit of a hassle to park at CityWalk and get to the restaurant, but if we’re going to CityWalk we won’t hesitate. Much better option than Margaritaville right next door, in my opinion.

Came back a few nights later with some other friends. Once again, we had phenomenal service. Geo, our waiter, was very attentive and got whatever we needed. The guacamole prepared table side by Jay — perfection. We ended up getting 2 more servings. I had the carne taco is this time and was not disappointed. Wife got the carnitas again and they were even better than last time. My ONLY complaint was the noise. I appreciate the band that comes on the stage, but holy crap I couldn’t hear the person next to me during some of those songs. I would like to see the volume turned down just a bit as there were some people closer to the stage covering their ears. But overall, it was a good night and we will be back next time we’re in town.

I ordered the Chimichanga as my entrée. It came with black beans and rice with a side of guacamole. It came out fast, so I think it must have been heated up from the freezer or something. I love fresh food. It tasted great and was worth the $ 12. I sat at the bar on the second floor since I was dining alone. The Bartenders kept me company and took great care of me. I ordered a nice Margarita as well. That tasted perfect. The interior was clean, staff was friendly, entertainment was taken place downstairs, and I enjoyed myself. No problems or issues. I didn’t mind the food being not fully authentic, but it does beat Taco Bell. I would suggest dining here if you are at City Walk. Do not make an arrangement just for this restaurant because it is not worth it. Perhaps bring some friends and have a movie night or club night.

We ended up having a great experience because of the customer service here. I did research ahead of time and decided to eat here because of their vegan options. When we arrived there was an hour wait because it was Saturday night. The hostess took our phone number to text when our table was ready and we settled at the bar and ordered several drinks while waiting. After 75 minutes had passed, we checked in and found out they had typed in our number Incorrectly. In response they were able to get us the next available table. Upon telling our waitress, Christine, about the mistake, she informed the manager and he offered us a free dessert. I’m vegan so we declined, so instead he offered a free round of drinks. As expected on CityWalk, it was expensive, but The food was actually quite delicious and we were very surprised and impressed with the amazing customer service. Thank you so much Antojitos! And kudos to Christine!

Perhaps my authentic and theirs isn’t the same. My GF had a chile relleno that looked like it was burnt beyond recognition. Not breaded or fried/baked. When the manager came over, and discussed the awful chile pepper, he explained that the peppers are cooked off site, then dehydrated and sent to the kitchen for rehydration. That is as far from authentic as it gets. Was going to have a crowd with us in 2 weeks for my GF’s birthday weekend and really glad we stopped in to test them 1st. Had great expectations and I cook better food at home honestly. The tamale, was corn masa with meat on top, not inside. Being from SoCal and my best friend’s family being from old school Mexico, I was raised eating authentic Mexican food so it’s not like I have no clue here.

Just came in for a couple drinks and an appetizer. Great service at the bar! Our bar tender was friendly and quick with our orders. I ordered the nachos which was pretty good btw and served to us fast. A manager came around checking on us which is always nice and it wasn’t crowded on a Tuesday night so I loved it and if I was a local would totally come back!

Before eating here, open yourself to the dad joke possibilities. What is an antijito? Is it the opposite of a mojito? Is this a restaurant for people who hate mojitos? Should I be suspicious that it’s subtitled«authentic Mexican food»(answer: yes). It turns out this restaurant is a lot like Chevy’s, just with larger chip bowls and smaller tortillas. I got the fajita plate for one, which was enough food for two people. The beef was tender and the red and green peppers were decent. The tamales appetizer was also quite good but not amazing. Just your middle of the road Mexican chain restaurant with higher aspirations. The guac is made in front of you, but I’ve had better elsewhere. Our waiter told us that drinks were made with fresh ingredients, but we didn’t try any, as we had to drive home after. The drink menu looked standard; varieties of margaritas with flavors like blood orange and a solid choice of tequilas. A few vodka drinks – the Bloody Mary can become a Bloody Maria if you substitute tequila(hah. hah.) There were, in fact, mojitos. Live music materialized during the middle of our meal. If this is your thing, I would encourage you check it out. It is decidedly not my thing.

Recently dined here for a company function. Now the menu was a variety of items being offered buffet style. It gave me an opportunity to try a few things out. THEGOOD… –staff was welcoming and helpful –guacamole was ok –offered a variety of options THEBAD… –worst mojito ever –chips tasted like that came out of a box –chopped avocado in romaine lettuce tasted frozen –shrimp was overly salty –vegetarian enchiladas lacked much contents and flavor –no sauteed veggies for vegetarian fajitas Overall, it’s pretty obvious this is not authentic Mexican. If you believe it is perhaps you’ve never had authentic Mexican before. With that said, I’ve eaten at plenty Americanized Mexican restaurants that still executed good food. This joint is an exception.

Two stars sounds kind of harsh, right? Well not when you consider that our waiter was passive aggressive towards us throughout the entire meal. If it were based on food alone, I’d still only give them 3 stars, but this place was very close to receiving a 1 star rating. So our complimentary chips and salsa were probably the highlight of our meal; the chips were tasty and able to scoop up their very delicious salsa without breaking which is a peeve of mine. My gf ordered the Combinacion Especial, my friend ordered enchiladas and I ordered vegetable fajitas for 2 with another friend of mine. My gf liked her food, my friend rightfully thought his enchiladas were too small for their price point and I didn’t really enjoy the vegetable fajitas. Part of that could be my fault since I prefer to have some meat, but the vegetables themselves didn’t taste that great. As far as the waiter goes, he left much to be desired! Our fajitas came with two containers of tortillas(3 each). My container contained what I consider to be standard sized flour tortillas while my friends container had tortillas that were maybe 4 – 5 inches(tiny). I called the waiter over to see if we received the correctly sized tortillas. His response to my question was basically him rolling his eyes and giving the most condescending«yes» you can imagine. Mind you, we are the most laid back group you could picture; we were friendly and despise those who are rude to the waitstaff. A few minutes later he walks away after answering a question and that smile on his face once again turned into a rolling of the eyes. He seemed to be annoyed at us for absolutely no reason. As far as the tortillas go, they would be overstuffed after only a spoonful of filling; at that rate it would take maybe 30 tortillas to finish eating the vegetables, cheese, guacamole and salsa. On a funny note, they may want to reconsider their guacamole cart. They need to either space their tables further apart or make them much thinner. On two occasions the waiter making the guacamole had his butt directly in the face of someone trying to eat their food. This isn’t an exaggeration, the waiters butt was a few inches from the customers face. He ended up tapping the waiter on his back to make him aware, but since there isn’t much space to work with he pretty much stayed in place. Upon leaving the table he attempted to slide by us but slammed into our table which totally caught us off guard. Their mariachi band didn’t perform as often as I’d like, but they performed very well; great voices and nice skills on the instruments. Would I return? I highly doubt it.

By far the best Mexican restaurant that I’ve been to. The food was delicious; I had the a layers enchilada with huge chunks of shredded pork with a sweet white molé sauce with rice and beans. The Sangria made me act like a lightweight and the service was second to none; our waitress was topnotch. And… AND we got lucky and saw the mariachi performs!!! With the sangria in my system I was yelling«Arriba! Arriba!». Great, great time at this restaurant and I just can’t wait to go back! Hope this helps guys! Besitos!

This location is in City walk at Universal. They open at 4pm and we were there soon after they opened — without any wait. We were greeted by friendly waitress soon after who took our drink order and brought some warm chips and large fresh container of salsa(complimentary). The chips tasted fresh and were seasoned well but unclear whether they make them there or not. I had the jalapeño margarita(Stingray) which was tasty but not spicy at all. My husband got a classic Mojito which was good with real sugar cane garnish which he enjoyed. My husband got the chicken quesadillas which were ordinary — they were decent sized and had plenty of cheese in them. The quesadillas came with a tablespoon size of guacamole and sour cream. I had the fish tacos which come deconstructed with queso fresco, 2 slices of avocado(in chunks), literally less than a table spoon of some very tasty mango salsa but not enough. The mahi mahi was grilled but flavorless and dry and came with some generic seasoned rice. The black beans were tasty and had a nice depth of flavor. The soft tortillas were warm but doughy. I asked for some hot sauce and was given a minimally spicy tomato based sauce without any heat at all — seriously disappointing. The food is priced for the area but not super high and the food is average — I definitely wouldn’t call it «Authentic» at least from the dishes that we had. All in all not a bad place to stop once in awhile, but they likely have some better options at City walk.

We’ve gone to Cowfish so many times, I was feeling like something new, though Cowfish is still great, though stagnant in their menu. Anyway, the ratings dive in Unilocal since Antojitos’s debut made me a bit worried, but nothing is written of the cowards! APPETIZER Chips and salsa were great. That was a very good salsa and there were enough chips to munch while waiting for the main thing. DRINKS Horchatas. Something tasted weird on them. I usually have horchatas from Border Grill on Vineland, and that one strikes me as more natural and authentic. I think Antojitos used a different type of milk or something. It was drinkable, but I would not order it from here again. ENTREES We both chose the Grilled Chicken Torta, because it sounded great. Mind you, the yuca frita, pickled jalapenos and summer slaw always come on the side. The description makes it sound like they are all inside the sandwich, which would be weird but great. I stuck the yuca inside it anyway. Another warning. This torta uses Cuban bread instead of whatever the authentic dish would use. I’m not an expert in Mexican cuisine, but I think they wouldn’t normally use Cuban bread for their tortas. Anyway, my girlfriend liked it, but it was just okay to me. It tasted refreshing and… different, but it wasn’t memorable. I could’ve just as well had done without it. OVERALL Service was pretty good. Ambiance was okay. Not as gorgeous as other reviewers have mentioned. This is definitely not on par with say Emeril’s Tchoup Chop’s décor or even Epcot’s Mexican restaurants, though some birdcage-like tables were interesting and the bar looked cool enough. Food was just okay. Cowfish continues to reign on Citywalk for me, and it’s never too expensive.

This was the best Mexican restaurant that I have ever been! I came with a friend during last weekend and we were looking for places to eat and he decided to come to Antojitos. It’s at CityWalk and you cannot miss it. I got the fajitas del Comal with chicken and it was the best I have ever had. I was so sad that I didn’t get dessert because I was too stuff, but it was worth it. I highly recommend to come and I hope to return to Antojitos soon!

Sat at the bar and loved all the bar watching. They gave us a HUGE basket of chips and fresh salsa. The table side guacamole was awesome, as was the woman who made it. Be aware that one of the options to add to your guacamole is olives — we opted out of that. All the margaritas are excellent!!! All made with fresh lime which makes a huge difference. My only complaint is that they put too much ice. Too much ice means not enough delicious margarita. It’s really my only complaint otherwise I was pleasantly surprised with the quality given that it’s in the middle of a tourist attraction.
