Stopped in on a few occasions to grab something quick and always come out happy. If there is a line it moves fast, and everyone behind the counter is very polite. Whether you are getting something fried like chicharrones or empandas, or one of the baked good, or coffee its always quick and fresh. What more can you ask for?

Hidden gem for sure! Everything in this place is delicious. I ate all my pastries before leaving the parking lot! Lol. Pandebono is unbelievable. My favorite bakery in Florida thus far

I’ll preface this by saying I’m Colombian and my mom is a chef so I know good Colombian food when I taste it and this got the approval from mami, so that should really be the end of my review but I can’t stop talking about the pandebono. Pandebono is a cheesy chewy bread made with corn flour, cassava starch, cheese and eggs and typically served warm. My mom will eat it with coffee and I’ll eat it with hot chocolate. They have a ton in the case when you come here that are perfect when the pop out warm but if you come a little later just ask them to warm them for you and they will. The empanadas, buñuelos, and sausage, also got the seal of approval from mom and the hubs. My mom noticed the tamales but said they were the size of a baby and she would never be able to finish them. They also have a whole bakery side I haven’t reviewed fully yet but it all looked tasty. My mom also picked up buñuelo mix that she is always on the hunt for, and a package of guava and tamales to make at home. They have an assortment of Colombian sodas to choose from-the standard stuff you’ll find at Bravo or another Spanish grocery/restaurant. The place is pretty small and can get crowded. The only seating is against two walls on the high counters but man, if you find a seat just make base camp and when you’re done with your first plate of pandebono climb back up that mountain for some more.

Oh, why didn’t I pay attention in Spanish class! I know very little of the language, but I always manage to order successfully at Café de Colombia anyway. It helps that there is a glass display case and I can point out what I want. The employees are very kind and take my ignorance of their language in stride. Thank goodness. This shopping trip would have all kinds of potential for awkwardness otherwise. My favorite item here is the cheese bread.(Probably called pan de queso or something along those lines…) it’s usually in the top of the case and looks like a dinner roll. But this is no ordinary dinner roll! It is cheesy! My friend that first tipped me off about these culinary wonders recommends heating them first. 10 seconds in the microwave is perfect. They make a wonderful breakfast snack with coffee. Go get some cheese bread! It’s amazing. The empanadas are also excellent.(some would say better than Pio Pio a couple doors down.) The desserts all look fantastic, but I’m so hooked on the cheese bread I haven’t tried much else.

We really liked the buñuelos and the guava pastry. There was yummy salsa/hot sauce with the empanadas. We spent 6.70 with 5 items total, good value. Will be going back for sure

Good coffee and great pastries. It is a very small shop with not a lot of room to sit and eat there. If you do plan to stay it is more of a bar style then family style seating. They are always very busy but move quickly.

This place is very small, and like other people have said, it was crowded when I arrived at 9am. The line was out the door. But if this many people are here at 9am, then you know this place must be good. I ordered the Pan Ariquipe(excellent), papa rellena(excellent), and the pastre de pollo(excellent). I probably misspelled some of the Spanish words, but you get the idea. I took everything home. I added two dashes of Tabasco sauce to the papa rellena, and it made it even better. I can’t believe no one has mentioned the papa rellenas in a review here. Out of the 3 things that i tried, that was definitely the winner. I don’t like coffee, but for some reason I was in the mood for coffee that day, which was the main reason I came here. I wanted to try Colombian coffee. It was the best coffee that I ever had. But I am not a coffee expert. So maybe other people who live off of coffee have had better coffee somewhere else. This place claims to be a bakery, but has some breakfast foods and snack foods that you can get throughout the day. This is not a place if you want to sit down and have a full meal. And for everyone who is letting their ratings be affected by the language barrier, please stop writing reviews. I don’t speak Spanish, but I can point to what I want and read the card in front of the food. It is not hard. Let’s not forget the value here. I had the 3 items plus a small coffee for $ 5.50. I’m so full I probably can skip lunch today. After reading the other reviews, I can’t wait to try the pan de bono and empanadas. I love me some good empanadas. I will be back sooner rather than later.

This hole in the wall is awesome to pick up some Colombian bake goods! Hands down the best pan de bonos in town! So cheesy, buttery and soft! Waters my mouth just think about it. And just about everything else is very good here too, buñuelos, pasteles, empanadas and even the coffee is good! Highly recommend this place to grab a quick snack!

The baked goods are always fresh and delicious. It reminds me back up north. We have not found any other Colombian bakery with the selection this one has. Every time we go there, is always packed. We will return!

On 10-1-2012 I only had the chicharones and arepas that are given as a side to the chaicharones. This was very good and I have been trying to get back for other Colombian products. After reading the nice reviews on here I am going to stop by and try the empanadas. Around 3-10-2013 I have tried some of the delicious bakery goods at Café De Colombia bakery. I tried the pandebonos and the buñuelos. Both were warm, fresh and very delicious with my cup of very smooth Colombian coffee. I totally discovered this place by accident while getting my Red Wing boots worked on I saw that this place had the chicharones so I went in and tried it. The food was delicious. Small place with a bar around the wall and a few chairs. A few people sit and a few stand. Laughter, conversation and coffee drinking was what was happening when I went in. Nice place worth a try in East Orlando. You gotta try this place. They speak very good English and Spanish…

Their prices are good, the empanadas are decent, but I’ve had better. The pandebonos are pretty darn good. I wouldn’t say the service is all that great. I work right across from this bakery so I come here regularly mostly because it’s convenient. Not a bad joint though.

I’m a regular here because the empanadas and chorizo are always delicious and fresh, and the coffee is so good! The staff is very quick and polite to take your order since they are almost always busy. I love the Colombian«feel» of the café, it’s a great cultural experience for me every time!

First time in Orlando, first time at the bakery, however I have continuous cravings for Colombian food and the East Coast should have something good to offer. well one of them is Café de Colombia. If you are a Colombian looking a true Panaderia, this is the one. They have all kinds of products on top of their fresh-baked pastries, the classic Colombian latte, roscones… oh my! The bakery is really spacious, clean and everything is priced right, not speculation. A very unique Colombian corner in the middle of Orlando. If you are not Colombian, this would be a very close experience of any Colombian bakery in Colombia.

I love this place as introduced by my boyfriend. I recommend the pan de bono(cheese bread). I have had several from other places and still this is my favorite. They will heat your pastries/bread up if you ask!

I come here for the columbian empanadas for $ 1 each. It’s not as good compared to filipino empanadas but good enough for $ 1. This bakery is packed in the mornings for their breakfast goodies and fresh breads I think.
