I’ve never gone to a chain type/generica restaurant and expected much in the way of great food. But this place had just that… great TexMex. The fajitas were great. I normally don’t order this at any Mexican place because they usually have bad meat, but not here! In fact, the entire family loved it. kids too. Service was great. Restaurant was full, but wait wasn’t bad at all. The only thing I’d mention to management is that they should really take a moment to speak to the hostess about her appearance. She’s the first impression customers get and I don’t want to be mean, but she looked like a scary clown. My kids were terrified of her. It’s cool to be who you want and express yourself, but if you’re dealing with the public, you should go easy on that clown make-up. We actually had to wait outside because it was disturbing to look at.

This chuys location measured up to my chuys location in Arlington tx. Their drinks were on point, great location, and price for great quality food. If I’m ever in Orlando I would definitely choose chuys again.

Only pro: good boom boom sauce, good food Cons: one of the worst service I’ve ever had. We asked where the bathroom was and one of the employees said«why do you need it» with a snarky face. We accidentally spilt our water at the table and our server had just said«oh you need more water but didn’t even bother bringing out a cloth»

«Two Salads To-Go!» My daughter and I ducked in real quickly to pick up a couple of salads, to take to my wife, which the three of us could share. Service was much quicker than the promised 15 minutes, the server was friendly; and, the hostess at the front was very helpful. The packaging was INCREDIBLE, as one of the salads was a Taco Salad; and, they put it in a special cake box, so it would survive the drive home to Orlando. My only regret is that I had failed to specify the type of meat; and, would have preferred beef, instead of the chicken and steak combo. My daughter also got a soda for the drive home.

Looking for Tex Mex in Orlando. Chuy’s hit the spot. The jalapenos ranch and salsa were a perfect dip for the fresh tortilla chips. The chicken fajitas were great the guacamole was delicious. Combo 1 proved to be about 3 times what my wife could eat, but she loved every bite of it. Only negative I could say was that charged for sour cream that was supposed to come with the fajitas(ordered fajitas for two, only came with one scoop of sour cream), then didn’t bring it until we were ready to leave. Too bad because the food and atmosphere was really good. Loved the fresh tortillas.

A Great find on I drive in Orlando. My girlfriend and I came here last month when we were vacationing. Some of the great selling points were that you can pick your own sauce and they serve of a huge variety of enchilada and Pablanos. There was so much food it hurt!

Our family LOVES Chuy’s!!! We called ahead, knowing we were going to be in the area on a day that they do not make one of their specialty items, avocado bombs, and they made special arrangements to accommodate our request. My husband ordered the relleno and it was crispy and so delicious. The avocado bomb is a must try. Lastly, I recommend the chili rice over the Mexican rice. Katrina, our server was so sweet and was engaged with the kiddos as well as the adults. We always go out of our way to visit Chuy’s when we are in Orlando!

Stopped by Chuy’s for dinner while staying nearby on I-drive. Shouldn’t have eaten all those chips, I was full by the time the meal came out. The salsa was fresh and delicious. The margarita was good as well. I got the soft tacos with chicken. The chicken was a bit dry in my opinion, but other thN that, it was a good experience and I’d go back, whether in Orlando or somewhere else.

Good Tex Mex food located on I-drive. Always usually a wait and the staff are personable. Meals are portioned big for one serving, but we haven’t gotten something we didn’t like yet.

The first thing I wanted when I landed from Germany was mexican food. I quickly looked up Unilocal reviews and found this one to have the best reviews and they were right! This place was delicious! The only drawback was that they did not have giant bowl margaritas, only regular ones. They were able to seat 8 of us comfortably on the patio which had very attentive service. The staff was very friendly and helpful. She was always there for us which is something I’m not used to when I sit on patios. Usually they forget you but our service was perfect. The food was prepared quickly and the plates were huge! My husband barely finished his fajitas and he really enjoyed them. The top shelf margaritas were delicious so we had two. Prices weren’t too bad. An average cost of a meal was around $ 12 for a lot of food. The beans were good, rice was fresh and the tacos were crispy. My chicken taco had huge chunks of meat so I was very full after eating just 1 with some beans/rice. They have thee best chips and salsa! As we waited for our food, that’s what we nibbled on but the waitress kept bringing more and more chips. It was so delicious! Their chips are light and crispy and perfectly salted so it was addicting. I want to go back and just eat chips, salsa and have a margarita. Yummm! Its making me hungry just thinking about it.

I had been to a Chuy’s location in Houston many times but the I-drive location blew it out of the water! The staff was knowledgeable enough to help me navigate the menu and work with the kitchen to make an awesome vegan meal for me! I truly appreciate everyone going above and beyond. My family loved it so much they would make the hour plus drive over again just to get good Tex-Mex! Highly recommended!

Wowzers, I was blown away by Chuy’s. We were on our way to a concert at the Hard Rock and this was recommended to us by a friend. We were seated promptly and the service was exquisite! Fill ups, chips, napkins, and whatever else one can think of was taken care of without us saying one thing. A red salsa and white, jalapeño ranch dip come with the chips… extremely delicious! The friend with us recommended the steak burrito and he was so convincing with talking about the homemade burrito station in the restaurant, the quality of the steak, and the sauce that comes on top. You can switch out your sauce from a list of about 7. Get the sauce on the side so you can take a bite to enjoy the tortilla. The rice popped with flavor and the burrito was devine! I can’t say enough great things about this. The steak burrito is a bit pricey at close to $ 12, but totally worth it :).

This is a fun place to eat out with the family. Our service was great and there was even a guy that made balloon animals for the diners. Also, spiciest Tex-Mex restaurant I’ve ever eaten at– love that! I’m excited that they’re opening a location in Tallahassee I ordered the chicken salad, my mom ordered the stuffed avocado, and my husband ordered the enchiladas. No complaints from anyone. All of our plates were super tasty. I didn’t like their chips all that much, very thin, I prefer them to be thick and crispy. But the salsa was great– very fresh with a good kick. In fact, overall, we were impressed with the freshness of all of their ingredients, particularly my salad. Great dining experience. I would definitely recommend Chuy to others.

Decent Tex-Mex food but pretty bad service. It started with the hostess she wasn’t too friendly. She offered our party of three to seat ourselves at the bar area. I asked if there were any tables available inside the dining area and she said she doesn’t know, left the hostess stand to look around the main dining area, then proceeded to take us to our table. There were multiple open booths and tables. She basically threw the menus onto the table before we sat down. Oookay so I thought maybe she had a bad day cause her attitude sucks and was hoping we would have better service by our server. I ordered the Chika Chika boom boom which the server said was a popular. It was good but I wished had more sauce, yes I like a lot of sauce. My bf got the steak and chicken fajitas which I didn’t care for as I felt it was lacking in flavor. My friend chose the chicken flautas-these were really good, especially with the guac and sour cream or dipped in jalepeno ranch dressing. I would recommend this. Now back to the service, our server wasn’t too attentive. He brought out my side salad but no dressing, he forgot my bf’s rice and the guacamole and sour cream which comes with the flautas. Also, forgot silverware. On top of that my friend waited and waited for his Coke to be refilled multiple times and our water too. We practically had to wave him down and mention the things we didn’t get when he brought out the food. The only thing that made up for the lack of service was the chips and salsa– they were addicting. Nice thin crunchy chips and great tasting salsa.

My S. O and I decided to go to Chuy’s in observance for National Margarita Day. Upon arriving we were greeted by 2 individuals in the front. We opted to eat at the bar and enjoy Happy Hour(which is daily from 4pm to 7pm). I wasn’t too hungry, shamefully I just wanted to drink M-A-R-G-A-R-I-T-A-S(don’t judge me). And Chuy’s offers $ 5 margaritas and just for NMD they were offering tequila shots for a $ 1WHOOPWHOOP! Bring on the tequila! I had their house margarita with an extra shot and it was really good. It was by far one of the best margaritas I have had and it was a pretty decent size for $ 5. Also during happy hour, you get free chips and salsa. There is also a «car» bar that has queso, ground beef and extra chips all complimentary. I had 2 plates of chips and queso. The salsa was a bit spicy for me and I requested some ranchero sauce instead. But I ended up eating the salsa and ranchero sauce O. O I was really full, but I noticed a couple next to us drinking a margarita that looked pretty tasty. We asked our server what it was and she said it was a Mango margarita. Mango… Ummm well of course we ordered one to share because there was no way I was going to finish one by myself. O-M-G that margarita literally taste just like fresh mango. We had it frozen and it was extremely good. I would definitely visit Chuy’s again, especially for happy hour.

I may be giving Chuy’s 4 stars based solely on their delicious, homemade tortillas and tortilla chips. They’re addictive and I need more of them right now. Unilocal led me here after a loong day at Universal Studios. Thought it would be packed, as it was a Saturday night… and it was, but I think most restaurants on International Drive have the whole«crowd» thing down packed. We didn’t have to wait for a table, and our waitress was almost immediately at our table right after we sat down. Food was delicious, but beware… I had a person dining with me who is not a fan of spicy. When she asked the waitress if certain things she was ordering were spicy, the waitress said«no». To me, of course, the items were barely on the«hot» spectrum, but to her the stuff was way to spicy to eat. Everything here is seasoned heavily. EVERYTHING. The tacky décor inside somehow works… and I think it’s because I expect a place like Orlando with a million tourists day after day to look a little kitschy. Think hubcaps. Hubcaps everywhere. Two thumbs up, would dine again.

Chuy’s was great. A hidden gem in the middle of all the touristy chaos of International Dr. The food isn’t totally«authentic», it’s more«tex-mex» and I loved it. Large portion sizes, cheese sauces, and hot sauces. Can’t go wrong. Food came out relatively fast and our server was great. I’ll definitely go back if I’m in Orlando.

Typisch Tex-mex. Die 1. Bedienung war leider etwas lustlos. Später wechselte die Bedienung und war freundlicher. Wir können den Laden weiterempfehlen.

Decided to check this place out almost 3 months after my initial visit and wow, what a difference! The place was not nearly as packed as my first visit but still had a steady flow of people coming and going. We had a table of 4 adults and 2 children and had no wait whatsoever. Dominick(hoping I’m addressing the right person since this is the name on our receipt) was a dream of a server. Super friendly, took our orders and checked on us frequently. He and his crew noticed that our baskets of chips were quickly being emptied at a record speed and they would replenish right away! Btw those chips are seriously addictive. And the salsa and creamy jalapeño dip are just an added bonus. The fact that they’re complimentary is almost shocking. I would probably pay for it but don’t tell them I said that! I had the«Big as Yo Face» burrito and chose the vegetarian option(bean and cheese) topped with Ranchero sauce. It came with a side of Mexican rice and some greens, pico de gallo and jalapenos. The entrees are huge and are more than enough for 2 people. I was able to get through half of my burrito before I threw in the towel. But it makes for great leftovers! Not only is the food really tasty but the environment and décor are lively and perfect for any celebration! They have some fun little props to pose with in the lobby to take photos with. The kids in our party really enjoyed that. I’m glad I came back and would be happy to recommend for friends visiting the area.
