This was such an incredible dinner experience from start to finish! We had made a reservation and when we arrived we were shown right to our table, no waiting. The décor in the restaurant is really cool, so I was impressed taking it all in as we walked to our table. Our waiter was extremely attentive and made great recommendations. All the food we had tasted amazing! We had drinks, appetizers, entrees, dessert and coffee — even though we were full, we kept wanting to sample more things from the menu! As we were finishing our meal, they were removing tables and preparing for the switch to the nightclub which comes alive after the restaurant has finished serving. We stayed after our meal for drinks, so we got to experience the club part too. There are different areas, with different types of music. We left as it started to get crowded. It’s a popular place, with a long line when we were leaving. Overall I’d definitely be back again for dinner, as it was awesome!

I was at a convention at Orlando and wanted to have some Cuban inspired food and man this place rocks! Me and my colleague sat at the bar since there was no table available and it was too much crowded. I have to applaud the bartenders for being so patient and giving our food in a reasonable time. Food was outstanding and drinks were great.

Delicious food, what else can I say? Wait a second, you guys wanna hear about the service and cleanliness too, I’m sure. Well the service is from good to very good depending on who you get, the place is clean, always clean and the lighting creates a romantic but upbeat atmosphere(mostly due to the Latin music). I’ve tried a variety of mojitos here and I’m never disappointed. Their food is tasty, fresh, hot and always well presented. You should try the 15 sampler.

Been here a few times and in Orlando. There are few and far between nightclubs, supper clubs that actually play genuine old school salsa music. You are lucky if the places that claim to play the best dance music in this genre will play ONE Gran Combo hit. The rest of the night expect Reggeton or bAchata. Cuba Libre, despite the I-drive novelty, the music is kickin! Friday nights enjoy dinner and drinks amidst the Caribbean feel of Havana. People are here to eat, dance, and merry. Plenty of musical diversity and more importantly salsa dominates the discography. Saturday nights, dancing Latin music is outside. Smaller area with a long bar, small cocktail tables are a commodity. Dancing outside in fla summer is humid abd bothersome but doesn’t seem to bother anyone much with all the dancing and festivities. You begin to feel like you are among family and friends. As is the case with everything I-drive related. The food and drink are moderate to high in price but staff is very friendly and accommodating. Manager Victor, bar staff and servers all thumbs up 5*. Made z special birthday for my sister and friends fabulous and memorable. My favorite and must have every time item is their coconut crab fritters with a spicy chili sauce. Spicy, sumptuous, love the sauce and cilantro kicker. Their spinach bundles are good too and you can sample their tapas by choosing 3,4,6 items. Lots of choices. Their vegetable paella is a nice change to the traditional seafood paella and we also enjoyed some octopus, Yum! Thank you and see u all again soon

This used to be my favorite place in Orlando. Last two visits have been disappointing on a service level. Food is still fantastic. Just don’t like sucking on ice while my waiter flirts with the table full of Cougars.

Atmosphere Atmosphere Atmosphere. Ummm… Can you tell atmosphere was everything at this place? It felt like I was transported to Cuba. The food was an interesting, nuevo approach to Cuban Cuisine. Tasty and expertly prepared is a good way to describe the food. Also, the chef was willing to let me try the pork belly with out making the full appetizer and that was nice of them to accommodate me on that. The steak I had was tender… Nicely seasoned and cooked to medium rare perfectly. I was hoping for more traditional Cuban fare but was pleasantly surprised and will visit again if I’m in Orlando.

Nice place to people watch. Great staff. Voluminous Mojito menu: try the grilled pineapple Mojito. I wanted to try a few more, but far too much food. Great pulled pork. Tres Leches cake was pretty good, but be warned that it’s barely enough for one person.

Loved this new location for Sunday Brunch. We visited on Mother’s Day and were treated to an exquisite buffet and beautifully designed aesthetic just perfect for that special day. The service was attentive and professional. Delicious Bloody Mary Bar! We’ll be back.

The service was EXCELLENT!!! But the food was mediocre at best. I’m visiting from NYC and comparing the Cuban food from NYC’s restaurants(Havana Central),(El Coqui) or any Spanish restaurant in NY, I was very disappointed. I’ve never had paella that was so awful. The churrasco was saturated in what looked like a greasy gravy. Churrasco does need any gravy nor extra seasoning because it’s the type of steak that has a great natural taste with very little seasoning. Also the churrasco was low grade, not prime. The mojito tasted like sweet water. It was very unfortunate since the service and ambience is great. Sorry but I can’t visit again. Again, the waiter was amazing! But that’s it. Giving 1 star for the excellent service from the waiter. But the food deserves a negative. It was awful.

Food was very very average. Octopus was burnt. They never should have served it & the Cubano sandwich was lunch meat & cheese. The place is beautiful. Come to dance on Friday and Saturday night but go somewhere else for dinner first.

Stopped in for a mojito and tres ceviche. Shrimp, scallop and tuna. It was a Tuesday evening around 730p. We sat at the bar and the bartender Sr Hernandez from El Salvador was very engaging. A newly minted American citizen — we need more like him! Anyway our ceviche was delicious and the mojitos were just perfect. Ambience is Havana esque, but with more class. Value was good. Service was great. We don’t often eat in chains but this one is worth going to. We would return when back in the area. Mark & Nancy.

My friend and I are in love with this place. The restaurant is in Pointe Orlando and that may be scary to some, but with it being on side of the strip makes it easy to get to. This place is well worth going through the traffic to get to. There is valet right in front so no parking hassle as well. There is seating inside and out and for the couple of times, we have chosen to sit outside because it was gorgeous out. To start, we ordered a couple of drinks and appetizers. The shrimp ceviche has so much flavor and the shrimps are surprisingly the largest shimps I have ever had as a ceviche. The tropical chips and trio dip is done very well and the salsa is so flavorful, I wish I could get the recipe. For entrees, the Lechon Asado is a very good choice. Initially it may not look like a lot cause its presented like a stack, but there is more than enough with great flavors. Another great choice is the Churrasco a la Cubana. The steak is cooked perfectly and my friend and I couldn’t stop thinking about the steak for days after we went. On Friday and Saturday nights, the place really gets bumping with a DJ and salsa dancing. Unfortunately we have not stayed for it before, but if you save your receipt you can get in for the salsa dancing without having to pay the cover. I definitely want to stay around for it the next time I am out there.

Cool area that I attended as part of a private event. Lots of fun! The bartenders were friendly, and the DJ /MC was good at getting everyone psyched up for the party and dancing. They had a dance floor and some karaōke. Again, I don’t know for certain if this is all typical because I was there for a private function but it overall was a good time.

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary so we wanted to try some Cuban cuisine. We made reservations in advance and when we got there the hostess congratulated us on our anniversary. We were seated promptly and our server was extremely helpful in describing the menu. I got started with the mango mojito which was superb. The mint was fresh and the serving portion was just right! My husband tried the coconut mojito and he loved it as well. We decided to try the Chef’s Special because we are very indecisive. This consisted the 15 tastes of Cuba. We were NOTDISAPPOINTED! For $ 40 each we tried 5 appetizers 3 entrees and two desserts. The shrimp ceviche is delicious. They Cuban salsa is great! For the three entrees, we couldn’t decide out of the all three which one was delicious. We also selected an argentine red wine and New Zealand white wine to compliment the fish and meat in our entrees. For our dessert, our server brought out a sparkler to celebrate our special day. It was extremely thoughtful. My favorite was the flan! By dessert time, we were full and couldn’t finish them. That was my only complain, too much delicious food to finish in one sitting! Also, the mango butter with Cuban bread is delicious! We would buy some if they sold it prepackaged! Seriously the food was underpriced. The experience was unique and made possible by the beautiful menu and staff. Valet parking is validated. Our server also invited us to come back for the dancing. We will eat here every time we are in town!!!

From the beautiful interior, warm toasted bread with mango cinnamon butter to the great entrées to the bill arriving in a cigar box and great service, Cuba Libre is a «must go» Orlando restaurant. Please see my check-in for photos of our food. I would definitely come back next time I am in Orlando.

The restaurant was noisy. Music was either loud or off. The waiter said they were having problems with the amplifier. Food was good and cocktails were all made with fresh fruit. The waiters were good about explaining everything. They offer validated parking, but you have to ask for it. Also the concierge had coupons for 20 percent off.

We only had drinks, but they were delicious. I feel bad forgetting the name, but they have a specific drink made from a delicious liquor you can’t buy in stores. Ceasar at the upstairs bar was a great bar bartender! Bottom line: great place for after dinner drinks on International Drive.

Cuba Libre Atmosphere Open space that makes you feel like you’re in another a beautiful Cuban environment. Two stories with lots of space, great for groups and offers private dining rooms and lively music and dancing on weekends. Service We had a great server. Attentive the right amount and offered drink and food suggestions albeit typically the more expensive menu items but still… he was quick and prompt with everything. Hostess greeted us warmly, too. We visited on a Wednesday night so less busy and not crowded at all. Reservations still recommended. Food/drink Our table of 6 shares a pitcher of mojitos($ 55) with plenty to go around at least once probably more for most of us. Several different flavor types to choose from. Warm bread and house made butter brought out — yum! Appetizers: shrimp ceviche, coconut shrimp, & Spinach and Manchego Buñuelos(manchego and spinach puffs. Goat cheese-ranch sauce and organic olive oil). All were amazing! They are smaller portions so having 3 apps for 6 people was enough for each to get a taste. My entrée — I had Shrimp con Mojo($ 27) Pan-seared citrus marinated jumbo shrimp, onions, peppers, sliced garlic and crisped yuca. Cilantro-lime mojo sauce. Huge shrimp seasoned so well with peppers and onions that came with a side of some of the best black beans I’ve ever had and white rice. Great presentation and plentiful portion size. Why I’d go back… FORITALL and order exactly the same things again YUM! Salute Cuba Libre!

Great food, though not just Cuban, more overall Latin American cuisine. service is fast and friendly. The sangria is tasteful and not too strong, but beware of the 151 shot !!! absolutely too strong!!!
