Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista Resort

nice hotel, the room was large and clean. the front desk and other staff was very nice. my only issue was the shower fixtures they were not the best, but the shower was clean no mold.
beds were comfortable.
breakfast. omlets were great the guys making them joke around with the guest. pancakes were soso. there was fresh fruit and muffins.
it was a good stay we will come back

The WORST hotel I have ever stayed.
1. We arrived at 12:30pm, checked in and was told to call hotel by 2pm to see if any deluxe room is ready. Called at 2:05 and was told to go to hotel front desk. I told and very rude person told me to go to the hotel to see.
2. 2:30, I sat in lobby and was told that my room is not ready ALTHOUGH I see others were checking. I was told that my «requested room» was not ready until 4pm, GUARANTEED.
3. 4:05, very cold person told me that my room is otherwise ready. I stated in only requested «deluxe room» and how many «deluxe room» does this hotel has? They then stated rudely that they will get me another room.
4. Next day, no bathtub towel were in our room after we came back from theme park.
5. Next day, ice bucket left unclean. Thrash cans not emptied. Called front desk. Came back later and the grewted person left their key chains in our room.
6. Wireless WiFi is SUCH. Called front desk and was told working on it.
7. Following days WiFi is still 1 Bar.
8. Ordered pizza in next to Gazwbo and was greeted by blank face young lady. Was told to come back 15−20mins. Came back at 10 mins. No customer waiting. Waited 15 more minutes than I walked up. Same lady said rudely «what was your order?» Told her and she opened the warmer and there was only 1 pizza.
I Wanted to Check out but was told a PENALTY FEE OF 1 DAY WILL BE CHARGED. I had to either pay or suffer.
9. Room has popcorn ceiling, bathroom door has to be pushed hard to open and closed.
Bathroom door is black appear to be mold at inside lower. Bathtub drain is broken and had to be removed for water to drain.
10. Room mini «fridge» takes more than 1 day and night to cool.
Pool divider drapery is old, moldy and rusted at top of hangers.
11. Today is the last evening prior to check out. Room is NOT CLEANED. Called front desk and was Hung up 2 times.
Went downstairs from 6^th floor and waited at HONORS line. And a rude guy waived me over to the other end of the counter. I informed my room I not cleaned and he stated VERY RUDE THEY WILL BE HERE UNTIL 5PM since they had 145 rooms checked out today.
Now is 4:37 and our room is STILL NOT CLEANED!
I stayed here because of «by Hilton» in the title.
I will never stay at Embassy or Embarrassed Suites EVER again.
I am very shocked that Hilton is affiliated with this hotel!

VERY POOR quality compared to other Embassy Suites. Normally this is a great hotel. The rooms are OLD and even the furnishings look used. Scratches on the walls, base of tubs, toilets are unclean. Housekeeping does not cleanup rooms everyday like change linens, etc. u have to ask. No pay per view or movie channels. More of a Sleep In experience. Small bathtubs as well. The lobby areas, pool and other amenities are good. Breakfast is very good. That is the best plus! Staff also friendly. That is the only reason I rated a two. They have strange people floating in the lobby trying to get u to sign up for something. Very negative when trying to eat. Convenient to parks and shops but mot worth hotel prices or Embassy name. Find something else. Stayed May 2016.

Great hotel, great staff, great breakfast, great pool & «splash pad» for the little ones. Great happy hour (free unlimited drinks from 5 — 7pm) and great restaurant.
Only reason I’m giving a 4 is because the transportation shuttles to Disney’s Magic Kingdom are: one in the morning going (I believe 8:20ish) and returning at 4:30ish pm and 10:30 pm. I think these return times are ridiculous! If you want to catch the bus at 4:30, you have to leave the park at least a half hour earlier to take the monorail to the Transportation Center. It was just a bit of a hassle. We discovered and used Über all the time because the hotel shuttles weren’t really helpful. I don’t think I would mind so much except that there are times listed on their website that are just wrong, and it’s one of the reasons why I chose this hotel.

Loved this hotel. Easy to get to, free shuttles to/​from parks, included breakfast (very nice big and delicious), water, wifi. VERY CLEAN! Gorgeous common areas such as main atrium & huge pool. My only complaint is how long the food took at the outside bar. Got 2 small apps, took over 40 minn. Other than that this is a definite choice for next time.

Our stay here was extremely bumpy. First room had roaches. Second room was better, but the bedroom and bathroom doors didn’t close properly. Breakfast was good, until the 6 bus loads of people came causing lines to be long. One day we noticed that the bagels were spoilt/​moldy; the staff were receptive to getting rid of the half a tray of bagels that were left. For a place that has been recently renovated, it really wasn’t in good shape.
I would have given it 1 star, but the staff (from the front desk, food cleanup, omelette grill, to the maintenance foreman) at the hotel was great. It’s also centrally located between Universal Studios, SeaWorld, and Disney.
We usually have a great experience at embassy suites; this location was just flawed.

My family stayed here when we visited Disney for spring break and fell in love with this resort. The last time we went to Disney we stayed at the Disney Polynesian onsite.
I knew of the extra offerings but didn’t think much about them because Disney was our focus. But once we arrived and got settled in the benefits became apparent.
We knew we would arrived too late on our first day to go to the parks so we planned to spend time exploring Orlando. Our minds changed when we saw the pool tables, outdoor fire pit, fishing dock, indoor outdoor pool, and the kids pool that had the children there fascinated, basketball court, tennis courts, night movies at the pool, and more were actually nice and available. We all had something there that we enjoyed. We made it through Orlando for shopping after checkout.
Food… pizza restaurant, Edys, and Starbucks. We didn’t have to leave for dinner. Breakfast is always great at Embassy Suites but this was the best I’ve experienced so far. The staff was entertaining and so helpful. I wanted sour cream with my omelet and received it hand delivered and creamy!!! The making of omelets was a talwnt show. LOL. All of the staff were nice and attentive. It felt like service i had received on the Caribbean resorts, though of course not as vast and exotic.
Im going back and have suggested every friend i have go. It’s a vacation within a vacation or good for a quick getaway.

Typically a fan of Hilton properties but this one was not maintained and no staff available. The room was HOT and not in a good way, stray hair on the bed, lamp kept shorting out. Going back to Disney properties.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was amazingly attentive. When we arrived they were in the middle of their professionals evening free food, drinks (alcohol and non alcohol) that they do every evening from 5 – 7. They had snacks like chips and dip, hummus, trail mix. They also have a small café you can order from. The café was the only thing i wasn’t impressed with. They were very slow to make food and it was wrong. On the weekends they do movie night at the pool with a giant screen and had a children’s area with water slides. The pool also had an indoor section and a sauna. The pool was closed one of the nights we were there but we never knew why. The room was very nice and spacious. It had a separate area with a couch and tv as well as the bedroom with another tv. It had a fridge and microwave as well. There was a little gift shop in the lobby for anything you might need while you were there. They have FREE breakfast in the morning better than any breakfast ive ever had at any other hotel. You can choose from the buffet foods like sausage, eggs, bacon, french toast etc… or you can go through a line and get omlets and fresh things made. I will try to stay at this hotel every time I visit Orlando if it is available.

Being a Hilton Honors member, this property needs to step up fir any future visit from me.
Here are my issues
1. During «happy hour» time share is pushed aggressivly by making clain it is about 500 Hilton points. Makes property cheap and tacky.
2. I requested additional towels and blankets in my room on pre online chech in day before. Upon physical chechin, I reconfirmed my request. Nothing in room, called front desh an hour and a half later, finally 30 minutes, towels and blankets arrived.
3. Our room wasn’t serviced until 5:45pm Sunday night. Also only left 2 towels for four people. Also only left 1 roll of toilet paprr for four people.
4. Pool rules not enforced. Children under 12 not supervised. Little child doing cannon balls into jacuzzi, mother more concerned about phone call instead of childs safety. MOD was called and she did little to correct.
5. Buffet lines are long and slow. Two chef cooking are more concerned with entertaining than cooking. After 20 plus minute wait for omlett, you have to go in different line for potatoes and meats.
I probably will not return to this particular property until management changes.

My family and I stayed here for 3 nights. The food at the hotel is terrible; overcooked, undercooked, cold and so on. On top of the food being inedible we couldn’t even call internally through the hotel because both phones didn’t work. The only positive things I have to say about my stay at this hotel is that the staff was very pleasant and the room was satisfactory.

We stayed here for one night before staying on property for the rest of our trip to Disney.
It was recently remodeled and everything in the lobby/​room were very nice, clean, and modern. It’s an all suites hotel, the room is definitely a nice size. We had two queen beds in one room and then a separate living room. There were three sinks in the suite. Very convenient for families for sure.
The hotel stay includes a free breakfast with a dedicated omelette/​eggs station. They have French toast, potatoes, cereals, fruit, oatmeal, and pastries too. They have The Coffee Bean brand pods in the coffee maker in the room, if you want to get a head start on your caffeine fix.
They have a huge pool and kids water play area too, with many of the rooms facing it.
The hotel is super convenient to Disney Resort, closest to the Disney Springs side.
It’s a little frustrating to pay for self parking and a resort fee, but I just bundle it into the total price and I thought it was fair. The resort fee is pretty typical in this area of Orlando. There are also tons of restaurants within a two mile radius, you won’t go hungry around here.
The service was top notch too, check in was a breeze and was able to get in the room earlier than 4pm.

I stayed here for four nights recently, overall a good experience. Rooms are a bit dated but in good repair and clean. Beds are comfortable and rooms were quiet.
The complementary breakfast is definitely among the better ones I’ve had, great omelet bar though my only complaint is they just add cheese without asking. The restaurant was actually really good, I only ate there once but the steak was cooked perfectly and the price was on par with a non-​hotel restaurant. My only beef about their food service is the veggies for banquets are frozen, not fresh.
I did run into one issue, the housekeeping service took my neti pot (its white porcelain like their dishes, which I did have a few coffee cups about). But front desk was very helpful, they confirmed what happened, searched out my item, and eventually replaced it. I definitely appreciated their accountability and service on this issue.
Internet was pretty spotty, couldn’t keep up with a full hotel — that definitely needs an upgrade.
But on the whole, I was happy and I’d go back.

We recently stayed here for just one night. The location is great, just off of Palm Pkwy. Check-​in was quick and the gentleman checking us in was friendly. They charge $ 20 resort fee PLUS $ 12 self parking plus taxes. We were aware of these fees ahead of time, so we took that in to consideration when booking. We got a decent rate even with the addition of these fees. However, I’m in the camp that is totally against all the added nickel & diming so called «fees». So I would not have booked at their regular rack rates plus added fees.
«Daily Resort Charge will be added to the room rate and includes: Basic guest internet access; Disney-​Universal– Sea World Shuttle; 10percent off spa service; Disney Dive-​in movies; 2 bottles water; Use of outdoor amenities; Disney Good Neighbor concierge service; Unlimited 1 – 800 and local calls.»
Let’s see, the Internet did not work at all in the bedroom. I could only connect while sitting on the couch in the living area and even then, it was very slow. I ended up having to use up my data plan. We have a car and don’t use the shuttles. Did not use the spa. No to the movie as well. Did not use the outdoor amenities, but even if we did, that’s part of our rate. Did not use the concierge nor the telephone (more on that later). So we basically paid $ 20 for two small bottles of water.
We were assigned a lanai room on the first floor (171) facing the pool. The room is large and was very clean. However, upon stepping in, the smell of bleach was over powering. We had to open up the back sliders to air out the fumes.
The room is well appointed and includes a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The bed and pillows were comfortable and afforded us a good night’s sleep. If you are daytime nappers, this room is not the room for you. It does face the splash area which I’m sure can get noisy. Plus, there is music playing outside and there’s a speaker right at your front door. If you try to nap in the bedroom, the back doors face the playground and adjacent basketball court, so if anyone is playing out there, you will hear constant dribbling. The pool area is nice and is probably very popular on warmer days.
Our toilet was backed up and when we tried to call the front desk, we learned that neither one of the two phones in our room worked. We asked a housekeeper to please call for us. Half hour later I called from my cell phone and a bit after, that my husband just walked to the front desk. We finally got a plunger after about another half hour.
The temperature on the a/​c could not be adjusted. It was either a very cold 60. F or OFF. Thank goodness for the extra comforter.
I cannot comment on the cocktail hour because we were not there for it. The breakfast is fine. They make omelets to order. My husband enjoyed that and says that the cook was very funny. I don’t eat eggs, but I did not starve. They had fresh fruit,& yogurt, so I was good. They also have pastries, breads, cereals and a few hot selections as well. The breakfast staff was friendly and kept everything refilled and clean.
Although there were a few negatives, all in all we had a nice stay and would choose this hotel in the future if the total rate (including the whack additional fees) is reasonable.

First of all, let me say we love Embassy Suites. This property needs some work. All of the details need to be addressed. All the wall sockets, light switches, elevator buttons, etc are all worn and dirty looking. Bigger picture all of the major amenities are there that one expects from an Embassy Suite. The room we had was pool facing. It also need a lot of updating — and honestly, maybe cleaner. The shower wasn’t much better than some budget hotels I’ve been in. Also from our view most of the pool chairs seem to be very worn and dirty.
Another ding: not enough parking. Not only do you get to pay $ 12 a night for parking, but may get to use the super exclusive West parking lot and park your car on real grass! Oh and getting to the parking lot will test your suspension as you may need an SUV to get there.
… Okay I’m laying it on a bit thick, but not by much.
Positive: staff was super accommodating and friendly. Free breakfast was the standard Embassy Suites. And again — staff was great! However there only so much they can do.
Update: since breakfast, I’ve gone back to my room to start clearing out and found ants. Lovely.

Place is great. They need to step up on service. Friend ordered a pizza by pool it came back wrong when the waIter was told it was wrong the waiter argued that’s what she ordered. Waiter took pizza back restaurant supervisor apologized and handed out a few Ice cream tickets. After that waiter came back and talked smacked about supervisor.
Facilities are great to relax after a day at parks. Problem is bathtub on 551 drains slow leaving a messy tub. Wall has rust from cheap bolts used on shower bars. Overall if they can work on the culture of employees and Hygiene a definite 4 – 5

Super clean rooms, beautiful hotel, tons of amenities for kids and adults.
Breakfast was delicious and free happy hour! Über to epcot was $ 10 each way.
I loved the hotel and will definitely be using it again for future stays!

Well only one room read (three hours after the check-​in time, the bar can’t make basic cocktails, and the reservation is all jacked up, otherwise it’s been a great day at Animal Kingdom! I’ll update this post before we leave, but thus far this hotel is striking out with me.

The Embassy Suite of Lake Buena Vista Resort is located between the I-​4 and Palm Parkway. It is easy to access to SeaWorld and the Disney World. It also has easy access to Publix supermarket, Wal-​Mart and the restaurant in Buena Vista and Sand Lake Road. I select this hotel to be closer to my conference.
When I arrive to this hotel, I have to choose valet or self parking. The self parking is $ 10 and the Valet is $ 12. I prefer not to wait for my car and I choose the self parking. The Hotel is located at the end of the road and they are more exclusive from the outside world. The hotel has several room rates. You can choose the cheapest room with low floor, deluxe room with high floor, pool side room and luxury room. All room is one bedroom suite or more.
The hotel will charge you $ 20 resort fees on top of the regular room rate plus tax. At the end of the stay you may want to jack up the price $ 30 more that your assume rate. I like this hotel due to the amenities. They have pool table, swimming pool, children play pool with waterfalls, indoor pool, hot tub, foosball table, and more. The room is equipping with natural color light bulb. The entire hotel has the same type of light feature. They are comfort to the eyes.
During week day they have the manager special complimentary with wine and beer at the evening happy hours. The morning includes all you can eat hearty breakfast and the cook to your order omelet. It is very economic for the family to save on the breakfast and spent on the dinner. I recommend to stay at this hotel by booking early with good rate.

Got a great rate on Travelocity for 2 nights.
Arrived earlier today. Very easy location to find, even for geographically challenged individuals. Convenient to Disney and Universal and interstate 4.
Justin, the guy who checked me in was pleasant and efficient.
Room is larger than expected. Very comfortable.
My suite is on the main floor, off the lobby… and there is considerable noise in our suite… coming from the lobby, restaurant area. It is VERY noisy. Walls are thin.
Free WIFI (although it is probably the worst WiFi I’ve ever had at a hotel), $ 10/​day for self parking seems steep but it’s nothing compared to rates charged at other hotels.
In-​room safe, microwave, iron, coffee maker, fridge, free bkfst (with quite a large selection) almost make up for the noise and WiFi.
Staff working bkfst were very friendly and polite.
I found out after arriving that I had booked an «accessible» suite. I advised the desk that I could move if the room was needed when I had discovered what I had done.
