Green House Chinese Restaurants

Looking at reviews I decided to visit this place but was disappointed in the quality of food, service was mediocre at best.
My delivery was late by 30 minutes and I had skip lunch during my break that day…

One of the actually high quality Chinese places near Hunter’s Creek. Will deliver, and usually fast. Typical menu selection, the «combos» include pork fried rice, wonton or eggdrop soup, and an eggroll or a spring roll. Been eating there (actually mostly having them deliver for about fifteen years now.). Won’t go anywhere else in S. Orlando, even though there are closer places to us.

I had to pay $ 5 additional to get a small fried rice instead of white rice. No meat in the rice. That’s over priced. This place used to be cheaper what happened?! Portion size went down too. Need to find a new place. They also mess up your order when you call it in.

I came to Orlando last week to visit a friend. Was invited by her family to go to Green HOuse. I am so glad they did. It was a wonderful visit. We ordered salt n pepper squid, butter garlic shrimp, salt n pepper short ribs, seafood fried rice plus steam vegetables. We finished everything. That was a big hit! I would say that it has been my favorite restaurant in the south! Will definitely come back!

It is the best Chinese food in the town. We came from Vancouver Canada. We kinda miss yummy Chinese food. Strong recommend this restaurant!

It was a great place, but know the food taste is different and the price is higher.

STAY AWAY! This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time and I’m a fairly easy-​going diner. The service was slow and the food mediocre, which does not normally prompt me to leave a review, but I ordered a dish from the vegetarian menu and when it arrived, I was fairly sure it had shrimp in it. I asked the waiter, and he brusquely dismissed my question and told me it was vegetarian/​no shrimp so I continued eating. The next piece though had a larger piece of shrimp which I extracted from the piece I was eating, and my omni friend confirmed my suspicion by smelling it. When I got the waiter over again and insisted there was shrimp present, he took it back into the kitchen and returned shortly, indicating «yeah sorry, he told me it has shrimp» and walked off. When he returned, I asked him to take it away, and he took the check too. I assumed he was going to remove the item, but when the check came, it was a different check, for another table. We managed to get his attention again (the place was not busy but he was not at all attentive to us) and he brought back the first check, still with the mandarin tofu on it, he did not seem willing to take it off. I was by this point late for an appointment so I simply paid and left. It’s a good thing (for them as well as me) that I do not have a shellfish allergy, but I am still upset and angry at how dismissively the issue was handled by the restaurant.

The spicy fish is not spicy at all. The flavor might suits Americans better but too «american» for a Chinese person.

Food was terrible and tasted so pre cooked or greasy. There was definitely an almost microwave feel to the texture of food as well as taste. They pitch the «New York «Chinese food pitch but fell short for me. And I gave them 2 different tried to perhaps offset a «bad day». My advice, skip if you can.

First time coming to this place with my family this place exceed my expectation usually most Chinese places are so small this one is big and clean.
I ordered a shrimp fried rice with vegetables great portion price is fair and food was delicious not too salty just perfect. Reviews matters a lot to me that’s why I decided to put this one and to give others a chance to come and experience what I did. Oh service was great food was hot

Wow what can I say I am such a picky eater and honestly this has been one of the best experience for me as far as Chinese food go.
First the décor is calm and relaxing not your typical Chinese place. The place is clean
As far as food goes not even sure where to begin the hot and sour was excellent. Lo mein seafood the best
Price is fair will be back for sure

I am vacationing from Maryland and I wish this place was in Maryland.

Food is great and cooked to perfection. Service was A+. Will come back many more times. Best Chinese restaurant in town. I order takeout from here every week and have never been let down. 5 Stars!!!

This restaurant has gone from decent to horrible, back to acceptable and is now disgusting.
The restaurant was purchased by the current owners approximately one year ago. They were serving minimally acceptable food at that time.
It is my opinion that they must have opted to very cheap quality products because if you start with crappy food you will have a crappy end product. I assume that they have lowered the quality of the supplies in order to keep the prices low. Strangely they offer a higher priced group of selections with what seems to be a low grade supply.
My family has tried to stay with this restaurant because they are conveniently located but we have all gotten violently ill after our last two or three meals from here.
Do yourself a favor and research the health department inspection history before you choose to eat here.

I love this place. It’s convenient located near shopping areas in South chase and they always do a good job with their food. It’s not just a Chinese pick up place– you can sit down and enjoy a meal in their dining area. It’s nice to have a Chinese restaurant you can rely on in this area

We moved to Orlando a year ago and found this place after a recommendation from the sales guy at Best Buy– go figure! After trying multiple ho-​hum or downright horrible places, it was a pleasant surprise. Thanks!

Great chinese food in town, delivery is very fast, ppl so nicely, definitely will come back /\/\

I love chinese food and have tried many different places. This has been the worst one I’ve ever been to. The flavor was off. I ordered the general tso chicken. It was mostly breading and barely chicken; and it was soggy. The rice was not great. The only thing that i liked was the eggrolls and the fact that they delivered pretty quick. Needless to say, I won’t be coming back.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants and we will no longer go there.
They stopped putting vegetables in the fried rice — they said 10 out of every 9 people don’t like vegetables in their fried rice. If you ask for vegetables in the fried rice they tell you no.
As if that isn’t bad enough (tasteless fried rice that is basically rice with soy sauce), the last time I got the sweet and sour chicken, the sweet and sour sauce was like tasteless water.
We’ve had sub par food there the last three times. Sadly, we give up. I hate this — I’ve been going to this restaurant since my nieces and nephews were young and they are all adults now. How sad.

Good food and good prices. Got two lunch specials about$ 5 a piece and drinks. Drink were $ 1.75 a little expensive. But it all tasted good and was quick. The staff was really nice too.

Not a Chinese food fanatic But love dumplings. Little disappointed over such good reviews. Order for pick up and told that will be ready for 15 minutes. When I arrived, the food were not come out for another 15 minuets. That is OK, but I didn’t receive order that I expected because I have emphasized that I wanted my dumpling pan fried instead deep fried TWICE.
