Can you say HUGE? This store surprised me with the sheer size of it. There were so many neat things i found myself wanting to buy today. From the small slip in «ears» to the sparkly pendants to the Buddha and other Gods. I wanted to take one of everything home. Luckily, I showed restraint. Though the pandas… Those almost got me.

This is a cute store to peruse in the China Pavilion inside Epcot World Showcase. While many of the food kiosks and restaurants are a bust here, the stores make up for the novelty and there are many fun items that you can only find in World Showcase.

This is a department store, located in the Japanese pavilion at Epcot in Walt Disney World. if you ask me, it’s just a giant overpriced souvenir shop. I saw lots of high and gifts. The typical Japanese pearl diver, pearl in the oyster place, where are you are guaranteed to get a pearl in every oyster. This was entertaining. I saw lots of cool stuff, but nothing that I would be interested in purchasing. I mean who really does need freeze dried shrimp.

Good looking store, but granted store is inside Disney so you know it’s expensive. As we entered China, we were amazed with the landscaping bamboo trees the décor so authentic. There is no doubt that I was in China! To make time and finish up out lychee/vodka drinks we went into this store and it was breathtaking. The jewelry, décor, Buddhas, and sword display. The store felt so original and it was in an open area which made it even more authentic. Prices are sky rocket, but I didn’t surprise me! Overall, good job China!

Cool place to find a really unique(but expensive) souvenir. If you can afford it, do it. If not, pop in and look.

The souvenirs offered at the House of Good Fortune are reasonably priced(by Disney standards), but the customer service was great! We bought Asian knickknacks for gifts for the daughter’s friends back home and the employees were very patient with my daughter’s repeated change of mind. As it was a hot day, I felt the need to put my hair up and bought a hair stick for myself. Watching me struggle to put up my long, thick hair with a single piece of stick and grow frustrated by the seemingly futile exercise, one of the employees approached me and offered to do it for me. I was so grateful and I am sure my companions were as well. I was already beginning to get cranky with the heat and that one tiny stick holding up my hair made the humid day considerably more tolerable. Also I should point out that their products were quite reminiscent of what we saw when we were in Beijing. Truly, the attention to authenticity(or as close to it as possible) by Disney is remarkable.
