Lee James Floral Designs

Lee James Floral did my beautiful small elopement wedding at the Four Seasons Resort in Orlando, FL.
I began working with him in June of 2015 through my wedding planner, Brandee Gaar of Blush by Brandee. I had specific style ideas of what I wanted and where based on a few photos I had found online and Lee and Brandee put their heads together along with the staff at the Four Seasons to make it happen.
I had some specific button/​pom pom dahlias that I wanted that I wasn’t able to get but Lee called all over and had dahlias flown in from everywhere to try to make it happen. In the end, it didn’t, but I was able to get the style and look I wanted and my flowers were still absolutely beautiful.
I liked that Lee called me to keep me updated on the status of the flowers as I had indicated having issues in the past with florists substituting flowers of a different kind for those I had said I wanted. I appreciated that — it’s a way to manage expectations and make sure no one is disappointed (or as much as they would’ve been day of).
Lee also did my small rehearsal dinner at the Four Seasons as well and made arrangements for that table setup — it was much simpler than my wedding but still beautiful and classic.
I loved working with him — he was bright and cheery and excited about making my vision come to life with some of his own stylish flare and he really got into helping make my spaces beautiful for such a small and intimate wedding.
In the end it was beautiful and he was a joy to work with. I couldn’t be happier.

Consistently excellent quality and service for reasonable prices. I’m always delighted with the floral I get from the team at Lee James. I’m not a big buyer — just a little bouquet here and there, but they still treat me very well. Good-​size arrangements with absolutely the nicest quality floral. Always delighted.

I used Lee James for my wedding florist and he did an amazing job. lee is from South Africa and brought us in some very beautiful, rare flowers from his homeland for our wedding –just what I wanted!
He really took the time to listen to me and worked within my budget. I would hire him again in a second!

Don’t go here unless you have a large budget. With a smaller budget of $ 2500 I felt like he wasn’t interested in working with me at all. Once I mentioned my budget his attitude towards me completely changed.

We hired Lee James as our Florist for our recent wedding. And, Lee was amazing.
My husband and I were in dire straits for a florist because we lived in Ohio and flew to FL twice to confirm our vendors. The florist was our last stop. We dropped into Lee’s showroom on a whim, driving into downtown. He was busy preparing flowers for another event, but took the time to chat with me (while working, of course) and instructed me to email him with my ideas. He was really easy to work with, and we completed everything by email and phone, from Ohio. I am so glad we choose him!
The flowers were beautiful and simply perfect. He and his team did a wonderful job with the design of the reception centerpieces, the altar flowers, and the ceremony flowers. I gave him a few pictures of flowers that I liked and he took it from there.
He has a great creative mind for floral arrangements and he delivered flowered that both my groom and I were pleased with. More importantly, he was more than will to help us staying within budget, while delivering a beautiful room at the Orlando Museum of Art.
If you are doing an Orlando Wedding, I must highly recommend Lee James. He will not let you down.

They just opened a store/​showroom in downtown Orlando (32 801). I am not sure exactly where, but when we walked in there, we knew that this was no normal flower shop. They do incredible work, at and incredibly reasonable price. Supposedly their design studio (this location at 32 803) has been open for many years, but I’ve only seen the location downtown and it is very cool. I will definitely be back for many more gifts. I wish I knew the address downtown, but I can’t seem to find it online and I was just walking around when I went past it. When you see it, you will know. Stop in and look around. Then look at the prices and be surprised that it is no more than any other somewhat crappy flower shop in Orlando (which this one is not, this one could hold its own in any big city, from what I’ve seen).
