I wish I had a tailor like this back home!
I was in Orlando for work and needed a last minute alteration for a wedding I was in that I was traveling to DC for in less than 48 hours. The young woman who helped me was very professional, and made the changes I needed with very short notice. She was also very concerned with making sure that the fit was perfect, which it was, and I appreciated her attention to detail and customer satisfaction.

I am completely impressed with Long’s Bridal & Alterations. Helped me out in a major pinch and the alterations were fantastic. Highly recommend.

Visited this store today. Very shocked. Was greeted by two dogs inside the store. I could not get in until she called the dogs off. Told the staff I was uncomfortable with the two dogs. She admonished me in front of another shopper. I was embarrassed but was told it’s ok! I keep the dogs here while I am at work. She assured me the dogs would not hurt me but I have been told that before. This was very unpleasant. Why have animals, esp. Hyper animals running around the tiny showroom when you are trying to look at wedding dresses. Not a fan. No stars so far

I had an amazing first time here. The store is very clean and modern. When I first walked into the store, I was very impressed. I met with Jenny and she helped alter all my clothing. We had a lot of fun getting to know each other and she was a very good listener. She made sure to do everything I wanted. The price is a bit steep, but you’re paying for high quality work. I can’t wait to see how everything turns out!

FANTASTIC friendly service and HIGH quality alteration!
I am going to be a bridesmaid in a wedding this weekend. The dress was purchased online and shipped to me by the bride. Although it was supposedly made to my measurements, it was literally about 4 sizes too big. The dress is long and has a lot of fabric so the alterations to it were fairly expensive, plus I requested a tapered cut along the bottom instead of just a straight flat bottom… so the total was about $ 200 but I think it was worth it. I would be scared to trust another place to do such a major alteration.
The best part about this place, to me, is the service. It appears that a mother and daughter work here and they are both SUPER sweet, nice, friendly, but also hard-​working and very competent. I really felt like they truly cared about doing a great job because they understand that their work impacts people’s lives… I mean, this is for a wedding, not just any old garment!
They do alterations for regular garments, too… so, I may be back! I am really short and it is always a challenge to find clothes (especially pants) that fit right!

Come here if you want to go to a classy establishment. Every since they moved off colonial to waterford lakes the store’s image has improved greatly! The new layout is lovely! All white, candles, dressed up toy puppies running around, crystal and clean everything! All they need to do is offer a glass of wine and they would be fit to serve royalty. I will take all stuff here! My only problem is the prices are really high. I had a multi layer dress that needed to be hemmed and I paid 60 dollars. If u want to pay 10 bucks, go to ur local random dry cleaner. But if u want the experience and service and new atmosphere is worth it to head to longs bridal.
