Martin Orthodontics

This is a long overdue review but I have been a client of Dr. Martin and company since 2014.
I researched a few places before I decided on an orthodontist. I received two personal recommendations that, «Dr. Martin is great, Dr. Martin’s office is the best.» The kicker for me was that my dentist and my hygienist recommended Dr. Martin as well.
As an adult, I expected a tough go with the braces anyway, but I have been pleasantly surprised. During my first visit and consultation, my options were explained and the staff and Dr. Martin worked with ME to go over a treatment plan and help me find what options worked best. I knew ahead of time I wanted lingual braces or something similar. Not only was Dr. Martin on the short list of being one of the few Incognito providers in the area — but to have great ratings and credentials made that list even shorter. (During a consult with another orthodontist, I was told that my dental profile wouldn’t allow the linguals to work… well, Dr. Martin made them work!)
Since starting treatment, I have nothing but rave reviews. My appointments are always quick, and there is rarely a wait. I know all of the staff by name and they are exceptionally cordial and always helpful. I have had 2 emergencies (during hours) and am always either squeezed in or told to come by — and I have always been taken care of quickly. Dr. Martin is always available for questions and checks in on his patients regularly. An absolute class act.

My experience with Martin Orthodontics was the best that I could have hoped for! I wore braces as a teenager, but due to my «know it all» attitude, decided that I wouldn’t wear my retainer as I had been advised to do. Forward about 10 years later and my teeth shifted to the point that I no longer was comfortable smiling without covering my mouth with my hands. After visiting two different orthodontists in the area who gave me costs and time frames that I was uncomfortable with, I finally made the decision to go back to Dr. Martin to make my teeth pretty again. I trusted him twice with my teeth, once as a teenager and now as an adult, and if need be, would trust him again with them.
Without reservation, I recommend Dr. Martin. He knows exactly what he is doing and knows what needs to be done to get you the smile that you can be proud of. In addition to being one of the top orthodontists in the area, he is also trustworthy, kind, and patient. For example, as the time came closer to getting my braces off, Dr. Martin would ask me if I was happy with the way my teeth were coming along. On two occasions I mentioned some things that I was not totally happy with, and without hesitation he made the changes necessary to make me happy. Both times it included him taking extra time out of his schedule.
Also, once you become a patient, don’t be surprised if you receive a call or two from Dr. Martin. He called me twice during my 6-​month period of wearing braces. Both times, it was to check on me to make sure that I was comfortable and to see if I had any questions or concerns. If you need only one reason to make an appointment, let it be this one. It is rare to find someone who will take the time to call and make sure that you are doing okay.
