Let’s start with the good first. It was easy to make an appointment and the waiting room/​office was clean. The receptionist staff were very nice. Ample parking.
The bad. Where to start. The nurse or assistant or whatever her title is, was very rude. I do not know her name as she did not give it to me. She told me that I could finish the paperwork I was filling out in the exam room while waiting for the doctor. She seemed rushed and very rude. I was the first appointment of the day. Perhaps she was rushed, I do not know. I received my x rays, from techs who were very nice and fast. Then the doctor came in.
I have never in my life experienced someone who is a genuinely horrible on the inside person. Dr. Samuel Blick is his name. He was extremely rude and did not listen to me. I explained how I received my injury and he cut me off and said «in pulling injuries (shoulder injury btw) you can see some strains and bursitis. I don’t see anything wrong with your x rays.» Then I said that there was also extreme muscle tightness and limited mobility, but was cut off before I could explain further. He had me lift my arms twice and put them behind my back once. He did not even feel my shoulder for crepidus or range of motion. When I couldn’t lift my arm to the height of my other arm all he said was «ok.» Then told me «It’s probably bursitis, take an aleve and we don’t do mri’s until after 6 months of physical therapy. Come back in a month after pt for a followup.» Then left. I didn’t get a chance to finish my paperwork which was pertinent to the appointment, which had questions like «why are you here? «Where is the pain?». He also gave no thank you or anything. Horrible bedside manner and made me feel stupid and about six inches tall. I have never experienced this level of attitude in my life and was interrupted each time I tried to speak and he did not care about my injury. This man has clearly forgotten why he got into orthopedics and why he became a doctor. I feel bad for anyone he ever encounters because their lives will not matter to him. I will not return, and have cancelled appointments that were made for me (without my consent) and will not be going to the physical therapy which is also in the same office. I will find someone who cares, is nice, and will listen. Do not go here. There are better doctors out there. Any doctor. The one under the bridge I’m sure is nicer than him.

One of the «main» doctors here has HORRIBLE bed side manners, if your a couple pounds over weight, that’s it. Your problem is weight.
Doctors are supposed to solve issues and this dr’s only wants judgement is that my leg is swollen, stating that he can’t feel the cyst in my leg, bc my legs are thick… As he is jabbing his fingers into my leg, that has been hurting for weeks… Wtf…
You will waste money on this doctor if you go to him. Stay away from this office, you will thank me later.

I was having knee pain, and this place was the only one I called who could squeeze me in for a same day appointment. The waiting room was empty, which could be a good and bad sign. I was in pain, but I didn’t want to be all grumpy about it. I tried cracking a few jokes with the woman at the desk. No response. So I shrugged it off as maybe I’m not funny or she’s just in a funky mood. Anyway, I was called back before I could finish filling out my paperwork, but the woman who called me said she’d help me out. She asked a few questions and circled a disease based on some medication I am taking. The problem is, I’m taking that medication for a different reason, and I do not have the disease she took upon herself to circle. She didn’t even ask if I had that disease, she just assumed…
The employee who took my x-​rays was very friendly. He made me feel at ease the entire time.
The doctor though, Dr. Blick was very cold. I don’t think he listened to a word or concern I had. I won’t say much else except that I’m not going back to this place.
On the way out, the person who I had to check out with was more interested in her personal phone call. UGH.
They got two stars because of the friendliness of the x-​ray tech. Otherwise, I would have given them one star.
