Orlando VA Medical Center

My Derm Dr. Is DR. Talley. He has taken great care of me, and most likely, saved my life. It is always a pleasure to see him.

While vacationing my father in law was having breathing trouble, so we went to the closest VA hospital. We found out they had just opened this location and were very impressed by how fast the staff responded to his needs. All of his nurses, doctors, and respiratory care team were very friendly and knowledgeable. Great technology available in the room.

I’m not a patient at the VA, but my wife is a doctor at the new Lake Nona mega hospital. This is the Flagship VA Hospital for the USA. Yes, it took years to build, but when you see it, then it all makes sense!
The inside of the hospital looks like the best of the best of all the hospitals I’ve visited around the country. I never imagined I’d see a VA that was just absolutely beautiful and totally cutting edge. They thought of it all planning this one out. From LED TV’s in every corner, to electronic check-​ins and I even noticed they place white noise that is the sound of the ocean. It’s totally amazing.
Now, from what my wife tells me the entire facility is high-​tech and the operating rooms are perfect (and lots of them). I’ve been to a lot of VA’s in the last 12 years and this is a one of a kind.

This is a beautiful new facility. These new VA buildings just keep getting better and better with time. It is a much needed asset to benefit all the veterans in the Orlando area, who previously had to seek specialty care as far away as Tampa.
