Papaya

When I first entered this store, I thought for a second that I was down a few stores and had actually walked into Charlotte Reusse. But I quickly looked at the tags and assured myself that I was in fact in Papaya. The similarities were pretty great though and also reminded me of another popular young woman’s store, Forever 21. The prices here were almost exactly like the others and the merchandise too.
It was organized based on color and the fashions themselves marked the changing seasons. You’re hit with purples and yellows right away, but then slowly notice pinks, whites, blacks, and browns. Most shirts were between $ 12 and $ 15 and the jeans, skinny and also very colorful. Should you want the classic ribbed cotton tank top, they were on sale: Buy one get one at 50%. Which is a great deal considering they’re originally only $ 5.99 a piece.
They also sell accessories like jewelry, shoes, belts, purses and pajamas. Another notable item of popularity is leggings. They had quite a few racks of these for $ 7.99, in all colors, and marked «F» for «free» size. In other words, it’s one size fits all.
