Really like this relatively new dog park. Like many others, it has separate sides for big and small dogs, but unlike other parks, each side feels less like a square for your dogs to roam in and more like a slice of the outdoors — especially the big dog side, which is full of trees and shade. A few more trees on the small dog side wouldn’t hurt, but that’s just if I’m being picky. This park isn’t nearly as crowded as some of the others in the area, so it’s a good option if you like wide open spaces for running around, but not the madness(or mudiness) of Baldwin. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because there is no water station inside each of the dog areas, which seems pretty silly. I always bring a water bottle just in case, but there’s no way my little guys would last in warmer weather without a replenished source of water. If they fixed that issue, 5 stars for sure.

This park is awesome! It has two sections(small/large) dogs and is completly grass on the left and woods/dirt on the right. I love coming here because the park is a great size, a pretty scene and has awesome dogs! It is still fairly new so it isnt to crowded(usually 3 – 6 dogs) but is lots of fun. I usually go to baldwin dog park but this is a great alternative for when you wan to relax, sit down and not constantly have to watch or bath your dog. I wil be back and recommend it

Park of America’s is a little difficult to find unless you’re looking for it. Located off Andes and Lake Underhill, right next to the 408. This park is fairly new from what I hear and it appears in great condition. The dog park is the main feature here and presumably why most people will come to Park of the Americas. Both the small dog and large dog sections are about equal in size. The large dog side is mainly a woodsy area with many tall trees. There is an opening with grass and large cement tubes for dogs to play in. Makes for a very nice area to play with dogs and hang out with other owners. The small dog section sports a nice pavilion with bench and a large open grassy area with more cement tubes. There does seem to be more grass on the small dog side. The only thing I don’t prefer about the dog park is that the dog drinking fountain is located outside of both the small dog and large dog sections. It would be more practical to have it inside the park so dogs could have a drink and continue playing. Other than the dog park area there is a playground and a huge open area overlooking the pond. No pathways and this area isn’t fully gated so dogs have to be on a leash. Great space though. Overall this park should be a frequent destination for dog owners on the East side of town.

This park is a great size for a dog park. Lake Baldwin is a bigger dog park then this but this place is larger than the Barber and Dr Phillips dog park. Lake Baldwin and Barber dog park always have a lot dogs but maybe this place will pick up in popularity since its still new and people dont know about it yet. Barber and Dr Phillips dont have any shade so I would say this is the best dog park for getting some shade They have a large dog section and a small dog section. The large dog section is covered with lots and lots of beautiful shady trees, to the point that almost that entire side is shade. On the small dog park side, there arent any trees but they have a covered pavilion and a picnic bench. I would not come on a super hot day on the small dog park side, maybe late evening. They have about four huge cement pipes for your dog to jump in but thats about it. The whole place is grass which is good since Lake Baldwin dog park is too much dirt for my taste. Outside of the dog park, there isnt much. A small sidewalk, a pond with no sidewalk around it, a playground, a couple picnic benches and a lot of shade. You go here for the dog park.

It has been about 3 months since I last came here and reviewed this park. All in all, there are slight improvements. However, a lot still needs to be done to make this park comparable to the other dog parks in the community. First, I must give them credit on finally mowing the lawn. I was happy to see that the weeds weren’t two feet high! My main criticism this time, though, was that all the sprinklers were on when I got there at 7pm. As it is now summer, there are two times a day I can go to the dog park. Either I’m the morning around 8 or 9am, or in the evening around 7. The problem with having the sprinklers on when there is a lot of dirt patches, is it then makes muddy patches. One dog owner spent about 10 minutes to get them shut off, but it did not work. If sprinkler timing can be addressed, and the lawn kept taken care of, this will be a descent place.

Brand new, minty fresh park. This park is fairly large and located right next to the Executive airport and 408. It’s quiet little space that not many people know about as of yet. There’s a few covered pavilions with bench-and-table seating, a play area for children, and two dog parks! The dog parks are off-leash. Everywhere else in the park, dogs are allowed on leash. It looks like they still have a little bit more of work to do, there’s unfinished sidewalks that look like it may go around the pond.
