I ordered their burger with everything on it including potato chips. Honestly, the burger was meh. It was a frozen patty, so that already takes away tons of credibility from a «good burger». I believe a burger cooked right is cooked medium with a little pink and a warm center with juices flowing out. The burger that Que Rico served was basically a frozen patty with lots of condiments to try and make it taste better. I’ll pass on this. I didn’t try their arepas, so maybe next time I get sloshed downtown and I’m feeling froggy, I’ll order your arepas and update this review!

I had a hamburger from this food truck either late last year or earlier this year. It was really good! It’s been a while since this happened and, to be honest, I thought that I’d already reviewed this(I uploaded some pictures, but the actual review must have slipped my mind), so I definitely need to check this out a second time. Tonight might work — according to the truck’s Facebook status updates, it generally is open during afternoons as well as late at night at the corner of Pine and Orange downtown. I may be down there tonight, so my second trip here may be sooner than I expected. For now, I’m giving this 4 stars since the burger I had here was delicious, the woman who served me was very friendly and helpful … AND the truck serves apple-flavored Postobon soda, which is outstanding. Look for an updated review soon, once I’ve eaten here again and taken the experience in a second time.

I love food trucks and I’m a huge fan of Columbian street food, so when I discovered this food truck I knew I had to try it. Menu includes burgers, hot dogs, salchipapas, and empanadas… all of my Columbian favorites. I love burgers and I love arepas, so naturally I just had to try their Arepa Burger… it was absolutely delicious. I almost ordered another one :-P. My friend had ordered the Super Rico burger and found himself waiting unusually long(I had already finished my Arepa Burger) so he brought it to their attention and they fixed one up in a hurry AND threw an extra patty on for him. Can you say Super Super Rico Burger? It was beastly and my friend thoroughly enjoyed every bite of it. Quality and customer satisfaction are most definitely at the top of their priorities. The way they handled my friend’s forgotten order earned them the 5th star for this review. I can’t wait to come back to this awesome truck.

I had Que Rico at a food truck bazaar. Loud music blaring from the truck got my attention. Plus I really wanted to try a Colombian burger. I am burger obsessed and I had to have this experience. I was not disappointed at all. Flavorful and unique is the only way to describe this amazing mouth watering experience. I also have obsession with cilantro and really love the cilantro sauce. Service was quick and friendly. I will for sure be coming back for more :)

Mientras siga viendo tu cara en la cara de la luna… Bacilos and Carlos Vives blasting through the speakers, arepas and empanadas with postobon in hand. For two seconds I thought I was at a family get together! This little corner on orange has music, good food and people. What else can you want! After a night out downtown you must try this Colombian food truck. I got a Colombian hot dog. First time eating it with cilantro sauce and without any apple sauce. I rather have the fruitier taste, maybe it’s what I am used to. There was a bit of a wait but with the music and people watching you barely noticed!(maybe the alcohol had something to do with it as well lol) I will definitely go back, I want to try the arepa burger! They also have Colombian sodas(colombiana and postobon) you must try!

I don’t really have the appreciate for food truck a lot of people do, but this one’s a great idea. It’s real food, and pretty conveniently-placed. Walking back to the car? Take a break, and have a bite to eat.

This food truck is a great addition to the late-dining options in the downtown area. These guys have kicked it up a notch with their little outside tables where you can enjoy your food while watching crazy people right in the middle of all the clubbing area. Also, they accept credit/debit cards for all of us that don’t carry cash… latin music bursting out of the truck is a nice touch! The FOOD… delish! This is authentic Colombian fast food, all made to order and very tasty. My personal favorites are the empanadas(with home made sauce) and the arepa burger. On the other hand, my boyfriend has a mild addiction to their loaded Salchipapas. The food is delicious, saucy. yummy!!. One downfall would be that service is a bit slow, but who really cares when you are dancing to awesome music ?! Check it out!

3.5 Stars The extra 0.5 star is for being there when I needed them(after I had a few drinks). I had some type of burger/arepa or whatever, and the sauce they put on my sandwich was delicious. You can’t compare this to the legit brick and mortar Colombian food joints in Miami because this is not Miami. And the quality of the meat may not be the best, but they’re serving pretty decent food out of a damn van, and they’re open late to feed all your drunk asses. Skip the mediocre late night foodshops around the corner and eat this instead.

Number one I HAVE to start by saying that the place is called Que Rico COLOMBIAN not Columbian. Colombia is a country Columbia a city. Just a little geography lesson ;) Ok so now that I got that out of the way! I first ran into this place during a pub crawl while my friend and I desperately searched for food to bring us back to sobriety. My friend ordered the Salchipapas and I ordered an Arepa de Chocolo and an Empanada. I didn’t have high expectations because I find that most of the Colombian restaurants in Orlando don’t really sell authentic Colombian food. I was expecting soggy, re-heated Arepas. Super greasy Empanadas and poor quality ingredients. Which seems to be the norm in a few of the Colombian restaurants I’ve been to here. Even with this fear I was so hungry and pained by my 6 inch heels that I decided to give them a try. Thankfully I was completely wrong about the place and ended up loving my meal. My Arepa and Empanada were delicious and right on point. But what ended up making the biggest impression on me was the Cilantro sauce used in the Salchipapas. I had a bite from my friend’s order and I fell in love. I also really enjoyed the music they were playing. Downtown Orlando needs a little Latin flare and even though we could do better I feel like this is a step in the right direction.

As far as I’m concerned, this is the hottest dance spot in downtown O-Town! Open air impromptu dancing with awesome music.. .not to mention my fav reason for going to clubs – watching drunk people dance.. .all while being situated on a busy corner, perfect for people watching.. .doesn’t get much better than this! Oh, the food. It’s the secret sauce that really makes this place special. I also appreciate the vegetarian offerings here as well. An arepa veggie burger is what I had – yes, it’s a mess to eat, however very interesting and tasty. There’s also an area off the side of the truck where you place your goodies on a table and eat up. They use ipad here for charging, so cash and card are both ok. The people really make this place rock. The service is very personable and friendly, and you may catch them dancing at any moment as well. So if you’re in the area and want some organic fun and cheap eats as well – all with no cover charge – look for Que Rico right across the street from City Arts Factory. If you’re wearing heels, look for the smoother spots for dancing – some of the terrain can trip a girl up. Trust me, I learned this from experience.

As I stood in front of this food truck contemplating the menu, it dawned on me that I did not really know what makes a burger or hot dog Colombian? Yes, I’ve had Junior’s Columbian Burger and I still believe that his burger was better on the truck rather than his restaurant. But what really sets this apart from any other hot dog or burger? The very cordial and extremely gracious young lady lurking through the open door read my hesitation. She walked over and ever so gently asked if I had questions? Seriously? A food truck vendor willing to come out and stand face to face with a patron and discuss their food? Not just say… it’s all good? I welcome the lesson. When asked the proverbial question, what differentiates these burgers and hot dogs from every old American, she responded confidently…“It is all in the fixings and sauces.” Ah ha! The secret atlas! Not so quick… the sauces are pineapple, cilantro, and«pink», the fixings are heaps of shoe string potatoes, fried eggs, and bacon… A glance through the menu will reveal all of these ingredients in various combinations. But no details on the sauces… she kept me mystified. Having had the Junior Burger experience, I decided on the Original Perro(hot dog) Potato sticks and cheese; sauces: pink, pineapple, cilantro, and pimento. The bread was a regular hot dog bun and the dog itself was nothing different from any other hot dog. But like the kind young lady pointed out, it is all in the fixings. This combination of flavors works extremely well together. Both bread and dog were cooked perfectly and carried the«Columbian fixings» wonderfully, taking the simple hot dog to a whole different continent. Thanks for bringing a little part of South America to North America.
