I have never been so uncomfortable in a hotel suite, which I actually chose because others had rated it so highly! I have disabilities that make it painful for me to raise up from low furniture and especially low toilets. The reservation agent told me I would have no problem getting off the sofas or toilets, and I did not need a handicapped room. When I entered my room about 8pm, I saw the extremely low sofa and asked if the handicapped rooms had higher furniture and toilets(that’s another story), I was told«no.». When I asked the difference between my room and a handicapped room(even though I was exhausted, having gotten up at 5am and flown in from Virginia, I knew this room would make me very uncomfortable and considered moving to a handicapped room), I was told that they were«all the same» except that there were bars by the toilet and tub. I said they must be kidding and that the hotel didn’t have any concept what handicapped people need. When I sat on the toilet, I had a hard time lowering myself onto the seat and had to use the door knob for assistance. When I got down on the seat, it jerked to the side, and I ended up peeing on the floor and in my shoes. The maintenance man tried to tighten the seat, but after 2 days he told me that the toilet seat was«cheap» and the hotel would not buy a better one and he could not fix it to satisfy my use. I was tempted to make a run to Home Depot and by my own. When I complained to the manager in a very long, factual email identifying many problems with the room, all constructive criticisms identifying things that needed to be, and should be, remedied by a manger, she sided with the maintenance and told me that coming down«hard» on a toilet seat could break not only the toilet seat but also the toilet! My handyman told me you can only break a toilet by dropping a wreaking ball on it. But there’s more. The bottom fitted sheet was too small and flipped up on the sides and corners of the bed. When I reported that and asked to have it replaced, housekeeping insisted that they were, ready, «all the same.» I was persistent and had to protest loudly that it was not acceptable. However, when I returned to the room, there was a newly ironed fitted sheet that fully covered the very comfortable bed on the bed. After that, housekeeping called me every day before they got off work to ask if I wanted them to clean my room, because I sleep late and kept the notice not to make up the room on the door handle. To wrap up, there were only 5 handicapped parking places for the entire hotel, and not enough parking place at all, and none by the entrance to the elevator near my room(I had requested a room near the lobby on the first floor but didn’t get one – later per above, they offered me a handicapped room on the first floor, but that was too little and too late for my specific, and originally stated to the reservations agent, handicapped needs). The wet towels accumulate on the bathroom floor, except when we could arrange for housekeeping to remove them, and I am sure it was not pleasant for them to remove wet towels with pee on them. I had a phone conversation with the manager today, and she declined to provide better handicapped accommodations for me as specifically requested if only for a higher toilet or some other toilet-raising accommodations, but she was pleasant and did offer to call another nearby suites hotel. I called two of them, surfed their websites, and they have higher toilets, more accommodating furniture and more handicapped accommodations than I have ever heard of!, so this time I am going to have a friend check them out before hand. Thank you for your patience in reading this long review, but I hope I have helped you make better informed decisions in choosing a hotel to suit your needs.

The hotel was fine. Our rooms were clean. This review is based on my staff experience only, which was quite shocking. We are traveling for a wedding and had an issue with a credit card. My father very generously offered to pay for our 4 night stay so I asked the front desk person what we had to do to pay with a card over the phone or via the Internet, whatever is easier. He told me to email a picture of the front and back of the card along with ID to a GMAIL email address. Yes, this is a Mariott branded hotel… and this guy wants me to send credit card details to a Gmail address. No, I think not. I call the 800 number and of course the person tells me this is against their policy, blah blah blah. Well duh. I don’t want to get the guy in trouble, I just want to pay my bill. I make it clear that it’s probably the manager that’s directed this employee to do this and asked about other options. The person on the phone tells me the only way would be to fax a copy of the card to the front desk clerk. Honestly, after I was asked to submit my card to a Gmail address I don’t want to even fax it anywhere. Hello scary. This is my only option so I get the fax form filled out and have it sent to the front desk. This is where the shit hits the fan. I get a call telling me that the paperwork I had faxed«wouldn’t work». I immediately go down to the front desk and Raheem tells me that«Since I got Mariott involved this paper won’t work». My father had put MY name on the form, instead of the name of the reservation(my long term girlfriend). He doesn’t say«since the paper is filled out wrong this won’t work». He says«since you got Mariott involved this won’t work». He then proceeds to tell me that«now they will be watched by Mariott for PCI Compliance.» I said well maybe you should be watched be watched since you’re asking for cards at a GMAILADDRESS! I ask for the paper so I can put the right name. Nope, he won’t give it to me. when an hour before hand he told me *I* could fill out the paperwork. I asked to add my name to the reservation since I was obviously staying there. He would not help me. Raheem wanted to punish me for asking corporate Mariott a question, which was way out of line in his book. I had to have a new paper faxed in because he had to have a little power trip. Now I’m afraid to even leave the hotel, who knows what might happen.

I stayed 2 nites here. The front desk ladies were very accommodating and pleasant. The suite was fabulous … Everything was top shelf. The hotel was clean and updated. Breakfast was included and there were many options. Being a vegetarian. Sometimes it’s an all meat choices. Everything was very well presented and prepared. Top shelf from the front desk to the housekeeping!

So I’ve had the pleasure of staying at this location a few times & the service is outstanding! Customer service is always on point & with excellent service no matter the time for both check-in & check-out! With this app you also get to enjoy a free bottle water or soda… thanks! The hotel has been modernized & looks fabulous! Rooms are Clean, spacious & include small kitchen, small living, comfy lush beds, & nice bathrooms w/huge vanity area for grooming ;) Everything is kept in pristine condition, which I actually have found to be true of all Marriott hotels, I’ve stayed in. This particular hotel includes meals w/your stay which I absolutely love!!! I mostly stay on weekends so I enjoy their breakfast but if u stay during the week you enjoy breakfast & dinner. Most hotels charge extra for this luxury or only offer dessert options for breakfast. This one offers a variety of hot foods like, eggs, pancakes, waffles, oatmeal etc. Again staff in this area as well are very nice, friendly & ensuring food is stocked, kept clean, & available to meet ur needs. To summarize everything is perfect from check-in, the price, service, sleep, breakfast, to check-out, in one word~Fabulous!!! General manager Janisse Ramirez & staff at this location make your stay 5 stars!

First, let me caution you about jumping to conclusions from a single experience, but here it is – the hotel rooms that my wife and her relatives had were uniformly dirty. Two of the rooms had to be switched for other rooms due to soiled linen and, in one case, a used bandage on top of the sheets. The other had blood on the pillow case and sheets(just a couple of spots — not a Godfather story). The hotel manager didn’t seem too concerned. He said we were even because we didn’t clean up the breakfast area after we ate dinner there. Even? If your housekeeping department is doing a poor job, you need to be at least a little worried. To be fair, there was little else wrong with the hotel, but sanitary rooms are kind of fundamental, hence the single star.

Nice rooms. Exercise rooms has dumbbells which was a plus. Very nice facility. Breakfast in the morning and a happy hour. Restaurants within walking distance. The wireless internet is slow. You can plug in hard wire to get a faster connection.

I love Marriott hotels! If there’s one where I’m traveling to I’ll stay there. Marriott never let’s me down. I’ve been to this Marriott a ton of times — & the difference between this Marriott than any other I’ve been to is it makes me feel so welcomed. Free Breakfast & let me tell you the breakfast rocks!!! It’s different & delicious! The front desk is very helpful with directions, activities to do, where to eat, checking in and out. Never a bad moment! The General Manager Janisse is always improving the staff & accommodations. Cannot get better than her &JP!

i love marriott! i’ve stayed in this hotel before on past trips to orlando, and i was reminded why i came back. no, it’s not super close to the parks, but a hop on the highway gets you there in no time. this hotel is so clean! the check-in staff was very friendly and the general manager, ms. ramirez, went out of her way to make us feel at home. also, free breakfast is offered and there’s lots to choose from– coffee, juice, bagels, waffles, eggs, sausage, cottage cheese, fruits & biscuits. there are also lots of places to eat nearby… from chipotle to ihop to azteca mexican cuisine… aside from the little boy that suggested i eat poison, it was a perfect stay! oh! and the best part of it all– the beds! i don’t know what brand they use, but marriott has THE best beds and pillows. i slept so soundly and woke up so rested. i wish i slept like this at home!

Everything was right here and it made me feel better while on the road. The morning breakfast was home cooked and not just stale muffins and biscuits like some other places. On Wednesday night the hotel put out an informal dinner for a «social hour». There’s a lounge off of the dining room with another television and two terminals for browsing the web or checking e-mail. The room was really clean and well kept. Quiet… no odors and not off a road or by a hospital. There’s a kitchenette there if you want to cook instead of going out. Everyone did such a good job.

I love this place. I know the beds aren’t the new soft Marriott beds but the staff here is great and if you have a long stay away from home it’s a great spot to unpack your big ass bag and get comfy. The Pool and hot tub are kept nice and clean and I even swim in the winter. The workout room is usually empty, I always seem to have it all to myself in the morning. Breakfast is included and during the week they have a social hour with enough food to count as dinner. They bar-b-que burgers, chili, deli sandwiches etc. They even have wine and some nice fresh hot cookies for your sweet tooth. If you prefer to cook for yourself you’ll find everything you need in your fully equipped kitchen. They’ll shop for whatever you want or you can stop at the grocery store about a mile down the road. The neighborhood is filled with chain restaurants but you can find some local places up on Alafaya. Also there’s great access to the downtown areas of Orlando as well as the airport. Sleep tight!
